Sowmya’s alarming remarks about Sudesh’s condition leave Kusum frightened, prompting Adit to ask her to leave. Sowmya retorts that she’s scared by their father’s unconscious state but exits with a sinister thought—hoping Sudesh loses his mind completely.
The following day, the doctor examines Sudesh, who gradually regains consciousness and recognizes Adit and Kusum. Sowmya is left stunned. When Adit introduces Mangal as his wife, Sudesh takes her name, bringing joy to Mangal. Kusum excitedly tells Adit that Sudesh is recognizing people again.
The doctor expresses surprise at Sudesh’s rapid progress and asks if they did anything different. Mangal explains their efforts to trigger his memory. Though initially critical of the risk they took, the doctor acknowledges it worked. He advises that a familiar, trusted person—Mangal—should stay with Sudesh. When Mangal hesitates, Kusum interrupts, affirming, “You are our daughter-in-law,” pointing to Sudesh calling her by name.
Sudesh reaches out to Mangal, and she holds his hand happily. When Adit mentions Sowmya, she becomes uneasy, and the doctor advises against stressing Sudesh further. The children arrive, overjoyed to see Sudesh improving, while Sowmya quietly slips away.
Outside, the doctor praises Mangal for her role in Sudesh’s recovery. Adit inquires if taking Sudesh back to the accident site might help jog more memories, but the doctor warns against repeated triggers and stresses the need for a calm environment. When Mangal suggests they reveal the truth about her separation from Adit, the doctor advises delaying that conversation.
Sowmya then mocks Mangal, accusing her of trying to replace her in the family. Mangal shuts her down firmly, declaring that Kusum and Sudesh are her parents too—something Sowmya will never understand.
Meanwhile, at the office, Kapil worries about Mangal. Pratima notices and encourages him to visit her, but Kapil hesitates, feeling it’s inappropriate. When the doctor calls to share the news of Sudesh’s recovery, Kapil is visibly relieved, and Pratima silently wonders why he can’t see he’s in love with Mangal.
Later, Mangal seeks Kusum’s opinion on the food she prepared. Kusum, though cordial in front of Sudesh, reminds Mangal she still holds her responsible for his condition and warns her not to make further mistakes. She insists on personally feeding Sudesh and bringing him to the pooja. As Kusum leaves, Mangal says to herself, “One day, when the truth is out, you’ll bless me.”
