Later, as Sowmya works in the kitchen, Mangal watches her closely. When questioned, Mangal accuses Sowmya of also keeping tabs on her, citing how she knew about the cab. She questions Nidhi and Sanjana, who dismiss her concerns. Suspicious, Lakshmi finds Karthik’s medical report and takes it to the doctor. However, after receiving a message from Umesh, the doctor lies to her, deepening her suspicions.
Umesh reveals to Nidhi that he intercepted Lakshmi before she could learn the truth about Karthik’s condition. When Lakshmi returns home, she expresses how much she missed Karthik—only to be stunned when Karthik ignores her and hugs Jia instead.
