Lakshmi asks Mangal how she liked her surprise, and Mangal fondly recalls her childhood. Gayatri arrives, eager to meet Mangal, who welcomes her warmly. Meanwhile, Adit strategizes how to expose Kapil quickly. He receives a video call from Sowmya, who questions why he’s ignoring her. Adit explains he’s busy with Raksha Bandhan preparations and mentions Lakshmi’s visit.
During the call, Sowmya spots Monisha leaving Adit’s washroom and demands an explanation. Adit lies, claiming she’s his cousin visiting for Raksha Bandhan, and hastily ends the call. He then decides to use Akshat to lure Kapil home.
Gayatri promises Kusum she’ll visit weekly, while Adit worries Lakshmi might uncover Kapil and Monisha’s secret. Kusum requests Lakshmi and Mangal to tie rakhis, but Mangal playfully challenges Lakshmi to identify a dish first. Lakshmi guesses correctly, gifts Mangal a handmade apron, and they share a touching rakhi moment.
Gayatri asks about Sudesh’s health, and Kusum credits Mangal for his recovery. Lakshmi admires Mangal’s strength as a mother, wishing she could be the same. Gayatri sadly remarks how Mangal, such a wonderful daughter-in-law, will soon leave for another home, but Kusum insists Mangal will always be like her own daughter.
Mangal asks if Lakshmi is pregnant, and though Lakshmi says no, she reveals they’re planning for a baby, delighting Mangal. Kusum hints at Gayatri becoming a grandmother soon, which irritates her. Mangal promises to pray for Lakshmi’s motherhood, overheard by Gayatri.
As Lakshmi prepares to leave, Adit panics—Kapil’s truth remains hidden. He tries to delay her but fails, and she departs with Gayatri. Kapil arrives moments later, claiming Akshat invited him. Mangal informs him Lakshmi just left, while Adit fumes at the bad timing. He then notices tension between Kapil and Monisha, sensing trouble.
