Mandana Karimi quits Bollywood; makes her Insta account private after Sajid Khan joins Bigg Boss 16
Mandana Karimi, who was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Lock Upp is disappointed with the makers of Bigg Boss 16 for having Sajid Khan as a contestant. The actress was one of the women who accused Sajid Khan in the #MeToo movement.
Earlier in an interview, the actress shared that there is ‘no respect for women’ in the industry. She said, “For people, life has become like, ‘If it’s going to benefit me and I can make money, who cares?’ The industry is a place where someone is someone’s mum, boyfriend, girlfriend, or husband. It’s like, you scratch my back and I will scratch yours.”
Mandana also revealed that she has decided to quit Bollywood. “I didn’t go for any auditions. I don’t want to work in Bollywood. I don’t want to be associated with an industry where there is no respect for women,” she added.
Mandana has even made her Instagram account private.
Not just Mandana, but many Netizens and even Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed has condemned Sajid’s participation in the show. She also slammed Shehnaaz Gill for supporting the filmmaker.
