Sony Entertainment Television’s Kaamnaa – jahan hoga khwaahishon aur usoolon ka aamna saamna has created a lot of buzz with its high voltage drama and storyline. The show sheds light on the clash between principles and desires of a middle-class couple Manav and Akanksha.
The audience is loving the character of Manav essayed by Abhishek Rawat. Another actor who is garnering a lot of love and attention for his performance in the show is the popular actor Manav Gohil. Manav is essaying the role of an antagonist, Vaibhav Kapoor.
Manav recently talked about his role in the show during an interview with India Forums and shared, “Vaibhav’s role came as a bit of a challenge for me – staying used to playing characters who are saviors has always been the norm! I believe that a good actor is a result of all the characters he plays, and this role has helped me learn a lot. The process has been very different and unique and offered me the space to innovate and experiment with my acting. There are times when certain scenes are tough to crack, but I’ve managed to learn how to go through with it. It’s really exciting to discover each layer that this character unearths. When Vaibhav’s character was offered to me, I knew this could definitely help me break through my good boy image on television. But honestly, I was a little nervous as well because I was playing a negative character for the first time and I didn’t know how the audience would take it. And, now after seeing such a great response, my character has got, I am really thrilled. I am glad I took the risk and my efforts paid off. I hope I continue doing justice to this character.”
