Recap: Nandini trying to find out about Manik and her past from New York. She reaches the hospital to talk to Manik but on seeing the others, decides to talk to him about it later.
After some time in the hospital, everyone decides to let Mukti and Abhi be alone and therefore leave. Aliya tries to talk to Dhruv but he ignores her and directly leaves in his car. Navya and Cabir leave together but Cabir keeps avoiding talking to her as he was really furious on the fact that Navya had hidden the fact of Abhi from him for such a long time.
Nandini was standing near her car, waiting for Manik to leave so that she could follow him to his place. Manik went up to her,
Manik: hey are you okay ?
Nandini: (angrily) Yeah ! Why do you care ?
Manik: What’s wrong with you ? Is everything okay ?
Nandini: Why are you concerned even if it’s not okay ? As it is you won’t answer my questions so then what’s the point ?
Manik: What questions ? You can ask me Nandini.
Nandini: Not now. Please leave me alone.
Manik finds it really strange with the sudden change in Nandini’s behaviour towards him. He simply nods and leaves on his bike. After a while, even Nandini leaves in her car, to follow him, keeping safe distance to not let him find out.
Manik reaches his place, parks his bike and goes inside. Nandini keeps staring at the huge mansion like house from the outside. She takes one look at the parking area and finds 3 cars parked in a row beside his bike. At first she thinks it might be someone else’s house Manik had been visiting but she checks the nameplate bearing the name “Malhotra’s” which makes it clear, it was Manik’s house. She goes up to the doorstep and rings the bell.
The butler opens the door,
Butler: Yes ?
Nandini: Umm, can I see Manik ?
Butler: Sorry Mam, he is not home.
Nandini knew he was lying because she had herself seen Manik get inside. She understood it would have been Manik’s instructions.
Nandini: Ohh okay then maybe Mr. or Mrs. Malhotra ?
Butler: They don’t live here Mam. They are in New York. It’s just Manik sir here.
Nandini: Yeah right ! Could I wait for him ? I need to see him, it’s kind of urgent.
Butler: Sorry Mam. It’s not quite sure, what time would he come back. So, you waiting here would be a waste of your time.
Nandini: Ohh okay. Thank you.
The butler closes the door and Nandini starts thinking of another plan. Now that she knew half of the things Manik had been hiding, she wanted to get in and search his house for any clues of her past being connected with him. Also, once she would be in there, she could even confront him about the huge mansion and the cars and his hidden identity.
While travelling from the hospital, Navya had started getting suspicious about Cabir’s behavior as he had been quite for a really long time and it had started to bother her. She tried to initiate a conversation many times but Cabir did not take any interest. Finally, she decided to ask him directly,
Navya: What’s wrong Cabir ? Why aren’t you talking to me ?
Cabir: Nothing ! Just tired.
Navya: It doesn’t just seem like that. There’s something more to it. Please tell me.
Cabir: What do you want to know ? When you can hide such a big thing from me for so many days, maybe months, then what’s the matter if I hide a small thing ?
Navya: What did I hide ?
Cabir: You tell me. Is there any confession you would like to make ?
Navya: Actually yes Cabir. I want to confess something. There is something I have been hiding from you for quite some time. I tried talking to you about it but some or the other thing would just not allow me. Actually, I already knew about Mukti and Abhi. But I just couldn’t share it with you.
Cabir: Why ?
Navya: I told you. I tried to tell you but something would happen stopping me. So then I thought, maybe it’s destiny.
Cabir: Don’t give me that crap ! Destiny ? You could have told me if you wanted to !
Navya: I did Cabir ! I did want to tell you but…
Cabir: But you thought it’s not such a big deal that could be more important than your stupid destiny signs ? Didn’t you realize it was so important a thing for all of us to know about our friend ? If it would not have been for Manik, we would have never found out and maybe Abhi would not have survived ! Do you even realize the seriousness of this issue ?
Navya: I know Cabir and I’m sorry…
Suddenly, the car stops and Navya turns to look outside to find her building. Since Cabir does not respond, Navya gets down and Cabir drives off.
Nandini had been waiting near the main door itself, thinking of a way to get in when she heard Manik’s voice from the backside. She followed the voice to find Manik near the vast swimming pool, walking at the edges, shirtless and in his trunks, talking on the phone. She hid herself behind a bush and kept observing from a distance. She took one look at a door near the pool attaching the house. She knew she could get in from that but she had to do it without being noticed by Manik.
Manik: Okay Dad. I’ll speak to you later. Take care.
Manik disconnected the call, kept his phone aside and jumped into the pool. Just when he took the dive, Nandini rushed into the house from the door open, without being noticed. She went straight upstairs searching for Manik’s room. There were around 5 rooms and she started checking all of them one by one, trying to hide herself from the servants. She checked 4 rooms in a row but could not associate any of them with Manik. Then, she moved to the last room in the far corner and got inside to find it Manik’s room. She could identify it with the color scheme being black and white, just like her own bedroom, his guitar lying on the bed and numerous pictures on a wall beside the bed. She started taking a closer look at the pictures and found so many of her own pictures from her childhood with Manik and also her recent pictures from college. She was surprised to find those pictures in Manik’s room. She saw Manik’s childhood pictures with his family, and then she found her own childhood pictures, with Manik.
She had realized that she had definitely known Manik since her childhood and it was therefore she could feel the strange connection with him. But she was still left with many questions unanswered, as to why was Manik hiding his identity from her and what was it that had brought him to India from New York after so many years.
She turned around to find the same file on the desk, Manik had always been carrying with him all the time. She had also questioned him about it once but he had left it unanswered as well. She moved towards the desk to pick up the file when she heard the door open from behind which made her turn around.
Precap: Nandini: Tell me Manik, why do I feel this with you ? Why do you have so many pictures of mine ? Do we know each other before SPACE ?
Manik: (with his head bent low) Yes.
Tomorrow: PaNi ff. Dinner at Charlie’s place. Utkarsh’s secret.

I am so so so sorry friends….I know I haven’t been regular for a long time….I really am stuck with studies….Trust me, even I have been missing this crucial part of my life….And I will definitely try to become regular….Please don’t stop supporting because of such delays…I will try harder to keep updating regularly….
