Maitree is sweeping the floor. Nandini notices Maitree and comments on her. Nandini responds that Maitree is not as crafty as she is. Maitree informs Nandini that everything she is doing is incorrect. Nandini claims she is simply carrying out Sona’s instructions. Nandini requests that Maitree take her family and go from here. Maitree goes to a tree, grabs a few leaves, and binds them with a stick. Madan inquires of Maitree whether she found Thaali for Pooja. Maitree announces her arrival and departs from there.
Ashish reminds Sona that Madan has a right in this house as well and asks Sona not to interfere with the Pooja.
Maitree informs Madan that she built this with leaves and wonders if it is sufficient. This, according to Madan, is sufficient. Madan motions for Maitree to take a seat
Maitree discovers that the kitchen is devoid of kitchen items. Nandish approaches Maitree and inquires as to why she did not notify him of her impending arrival. Maitree claims she has a surprise planned for him. Nandini arrives and removes Nandish from Maitree.
Sona thinks to herself, “I’ll see how Maitree does her Pehli Rasoi.” Madan instructs Kamna to go see what Maitree is up to, as it is time to make God Offerings. Kamna arrives and notices Maitree hasn’t done anything until now and asks her what happened. There is no petrol, says Maitree to Kamna. Kamna says she’ll discuss it with Madan. Maitree replies she’ll figure something out. Mangoes and buttermilk are discovered in the refrigerator by Maitree.
Kamna informs Harsh that they performed Gruh Pravesh here and that he has won. Kamna requests that they travel to Benaras. Harsh does not agree. Maitree tells Harsh to think calmly and that they need to reassure the occupants in this house that their lives will not be disrupted as a result of them. Harsh concurs.
When Sona notices Harsh’s family luggage, she tosses it away. When Harsh notices that his parents’ photo frame is destroyed, he becomes enraged with Sona, but Maitree advises him to remain cool.
Madan informs Sona that Harsh and Maitree require a rest room. Sona advises Madan not to have unrealistic expectations for them. Madan reminds Sona that they own half of the house. Sona comments on what he said, stating that she would not give them any space, and then departs. Ashish offers Maitree his room and says they will sleep outside. Nandini does not agree. Maitree also claims that they will make it.
Ashish debates with Nandini about giving Maitree this room. Nandini suggests to Harsh that there is a closed room that no one is using and that Maitree can stay in that room if she so desires. When Ashish hears this, he goes to talk to Sona.
Ashish approaches Sona and informs her that there is an unoccupied room. Ashish suggests that one of them go remain in that room and surrender their room to Maitree and Harsh because it would be inappropriate for Maitree and Harsh to sleep outside on their first night. Sona reminds Ashish that she did not invite them here.
