Janvi enters a room to clean it and finds a woman trying to slit her wrist. Janvi stops her and slaps her to calm her down. The woman asks why Janvi saved her and says it’s better to die than sell her body. Janvi is shocked to learn the woman is a s*x worker being forced into it. She sends the woman away and asks the front desk under whose name the room is booked. Janvi is surprised by the answer. She decides to tell everything about the scenario to Raina.
Janvi goes to Raina and tells her what happened. Raina can’t believe that Abhay was with a s*x worker. Janvi confirms it, saying the room was booked under Abhay’s name. Raina cries, feeling betrayed by Abhay. Janvi says she will inform Brij Bhushan. Raina insists it’s a personal matter and doesn’t want Brij Bhushan to know. Janvi argues it’s her duty to tell him. Raina, angry, fires Janvi. Janvi begs not to be fired, but Raina throws her out of the office. Sadhu tells Raina she can’t fire Janvi without giving 30 days’ notice, as Janvi is a union member. He warns that the union might strike if they find out she was fired for personal reasons. Raina backs down and leaves.
Janvi thanks Sadhu for standing up for her. Sadhu acknowledges Raina’s troubles and offers to take Janvi home. She agrees.
Meanwhile, Aryaman and Kian try to make palak paneer, but it ends up a mess. When Janvi returns home, she asks Kian for water and learns about the kitchen disaster from Aryaman and Kian.
Sadhu arrives at Janvi’s house and asks to speak with her elders. Janvi calls Dadi. Sadhu introduces himself and asks for Janvi’s hand in marriage, stating he wants to help her and Kian. Janvi thanks Sadhu but says she wants to focus on Kian’s future and doesn’t want to marry. Sadhu agrees, but Dadi asks him to give Janvi some time to decide. Sadhu agrees and leaves.
Dadi asks Janvi why she rejected the proposal. Janvi says she makes decisions carefully and asks Dadi to trust her judgment.
That night, Janvi goes to Aryaman after he calls her. Aryaman says he is struggling to make a kite for Kian and asks for her help. Janvi agrees. Aryaman locks the door. Kian calls for Janvi, and she asks Aryaman to open the door, saying she needs to go to Kian.
