Janvi tells the attendant that there was a couple before them and asks to let them get married first. The attendant reassures her, saying another registrar is available and they can proceed right away. The registrar asks Janvi to fill out the form and sign it. Janvi pretends to argue with Aryaman. The registrar tells them to step aside and talk things over before deciding. The attendant takes them to a room to sort out their differences.
Once inside the file room, Aryaman notices the attendant watching them, so he flirts with Janvi, who plays along. When the attendant asks if they have resolved their argument, Janvi says no and requests more time. She then tells Aryaman they are in the file room and should search for the file they need.
Meanwhile, Kian locks the door. Pushkar sees that Janvi hasn’t returned home after her shift and Kian is alone. He calls Abhay, but Raina answers. Pushkar informs Raina that Janvi is still not home. Raina decides to call child welfare services to prove Janvi is an irresponsible mother and instructs Pushkar on what to do. Reva overhears and decides to warn Janvi.
Janvi and Aryaman see the attendant approaching and hide. The attendant assumes they left without resolving their issues and locks the room. Aryaman suggests they can now calmly search for the file. Janvi blames Aryaman for getting her locked in the file room and nearly getting married. Aryaman tells her to stop complaining and reveals that Kian once proposed her marriage to him, but he rejected it. Aryaman says he is not interested in marrying her and asks why she can’t get married. Janvi explains that every potential match asks her to separate from Kian, which she cannot do. She warns Aryaman to stay away from Kian, as leaving would hurt him deeply. Aryaman remains silent.
Janvi tries to retrieve files from a cabinet and nearly falls, but Aryaman catches her and gets injured in the process. Janvi puts a band-aid on his head.
Reva tells Dadi about Pushkar’s plan against Janvi and tries to call her, but Pushkar stops her. Janvi sees nine missed calls and a message about Pushkar contacting child welfare services.
Janvi looks for a way out. Aryaman says everyone has left the court, and they won’t be able to get out until someone comes tomorrow. Janvi insists she must leave immediately, fearing that child welfare services will take Kian away from her.
