Bairam Khan specifically holds Salima’s hand as they come to meet Akbar. Akbar hugs his Khan Baba to congratulate him. He holds Salima’s hand with his both hands. He looks hurt and holds her hand a little longer. Salima sends Bairam Khan to bring sweets for Shehanshah. Salima adjusts her dupatta when Akbar pulls Salima angrily. She reminds him that she is someone else’s wife now. Akbar demands to know some answers from her first.
Mehfooz Khan enjoys belly dance while the soldiers guard the place from outside. Chakrapani and Pratap reach there. Pratap decides to go from the other side
A soldier is beating Vaid ji using a hunter while he pleads for mercy.
Mahamanga stops Bairam Khan. She wants to check the sweets herself first. It is my responsibility. Peer Mohammad (in the disguise of a eunuch is also carrying a plate of sweets). She tastes the one that he is carrying and gives green signal. Peer Mohammad adds something in the sweets as they all begin to go to Shehanshah’s room.
Mahamanga coughs so Akbar leaves Salima. Bairam Khan comes there as well. Salima wants to feed sweets to Akbar herself. Bairam Khan also agrees. You are his aunt now after all. Salima picks up the sweet from Peer Mohammad’s tray. She is about to feed him but then drops it. It is not in my fate that my fingers can reach Shehanshah’s lips. You should do it. Bairam Khan agrees. Salima picks up the piece that had fallen and gives it to the parrot. Bairam Khan boasts about the sweet. Akbar is about to take it but Mahamanga throws it away. Akbar is angry but she points out at the dead parrot. It is my mistake that I couldn’t check all the sweets. This proves that the sweets were laced with poison. Akbar looks pointedly at Bairam Khan.
The soldier is about to hit Vaid ji again using the hunter but this time Pratap holds it. On the other hand, Mehfooz Khan is enjoying dance and drinks. He is oblivious to the fight going on between Pratap and his Mughal soldiers. Chakrapani gets busy in freeing Vaid ji from all the bondages.
Bairam Khan swears on God that he has no idea as to how the poison came here. But I promise I wont spare the culprit. I will not sit peacefully till then. Akbar controls his anger. No problem Khan Baba. Fortunately nothing happened. Congratulations to both of you on your wedding. Bairam Khan is grateful to him for overlooking the incident. He leaves with Salima and all the servants. Akbar asks Mahamanga if this is marks the beginning of his downfall.
Pratap throws a soldiers towards the wall and he lands at the place where Mehfooz Khan is enjoying. He is shocked as to who could do it. Pratap sends Vaid ji to Kashi on his horse. He decides to attack from the front now.
Akbar wonders why Khan Baba would try to hurt him. Mahamanga calls it a coincidence. But the point here is that maybe he has given the same poison to many other people in a similar manner. We have no idea. But he cannot do this to you. Why would he do that to you? I am sure it is a coincidence. Akbar recalls Bairam Khan’s reaction. I too feel that this is a coincidence. Why would he do something like that with me! Mahamanga nods. Why would Khan try to kill you after all! You are thinking right. She leaves but her words haunt Akbar.
Mahamanga appreciates Peer Mohammad on his work. I have just sown jealousy in Jalal for now. We will have to do a lot more to achieve a positive result.
Mehfooz Khan orders his soldiers to find the person who has rescued Vaid ji. I wont spare you otherwise. They notice a man approaching their place and walk ahead to ask him about his whereabouts. Chakrapani looks at the soldier standing next to him and smiles. It is the same soldier who had met him in the market and to whom he had told Pratap’s story. Chakrapani offers to tell him a story. The soldier intervenes but Mehfooz Khan tells him to be quiet (as Chakrapani instigates him). Chakrapani repeats the same story in front of Mehfooz Khan (MK). The soldier again tries to talk sense but MK is all over confident. MK finally slaps the soldier. The soldier runs to a far corner as he understands that it is time for Pratap’s entry. Chakrapani moves aside so Pratap and MK can come face to face. MK takes out his sword but Pratap holds his hand. He hits MK who lands in front of the soldier standing in the corner. I tried to explain you but you dint pay heed. He (Pratap) is that man – Chittor’s prince, Pratap Singh. Soldiers begin to walk forward when Pratap orders them to stop. Just pick up and your leader and leave Kashi. Tell your Shehanshah that this is just the beginning. The end will be when he ends too!
Precap: CK and Maan share the good news with US. Dada bhai and bhabhi are on their way to Chittor. They will be reaching very soon. Pratap comes to his father. US asks him if he finally thought of his father, his family now. Pratap denies. My motherland, my duties towards my motherland has brought me here. US is taken aback.
