Scene 1
Ghulab sees the lion and says I am not scared okay. I have the sword. He sees that he doesn’t have sword. The lion moves towards Ghulab. Ranjit comes and saves him. The sword falls from his hand. Mehtab comes there and throws the sword towards ranjit. Ranjit catches it. Ghulab climbs a tree. The lion moves towards Mehtab. She falls.. Ghulab says why did you have to come here I want to but can’t save you. Ranjit jumps and stands in front of Mehtab. He shows the sword to lion. Lion leaves. Everyone comes there. Mehtab says today ranjit proved that diamond is diamond no matter how much sand under it is. Ranjit says he hid my sword and came here to do this drama. Mehtab says shame on you. Ghulab says shame on him. His heart is full of jealousy. Ghulab leaves. Ranjit says my own dad doesn’t believe in me. Mehtab says why didn’t you tell him truth? He says I respect my dad. Mehtavb says you should talk to your dad. He says perhaps you are right. Its about time.
Raj comes to Mahan. He says I have hurt you all so much. Do you wanna leave me? She says the woman in front of you is a wife but a mother as well. You both are hurting me. Mahan says we are doing our duties. Raj says then I should do mine as well? There are no value for feelings here. Okay. I won’t go anywhere and see my son and husband fighting each other.
Ranjit says today I will talk to dad. He walks in and sees his childhood swords on the wall. When Mahan used to teach him with those.
Mahan brings Raj to a hall. He says see all this but you know what my real wealth is? Its our land. The land that has so many fields and water. Raj says everyone knows that. Mahan says I am telling you that because my same land is under a bad eye. Afghans are after this land. ANd we can’t solve our internal affairs. A storm is raging and we have to do something about it. The Britishers are coming here as well. They have conquered so many areas and now they want to move towards Punjab. Do you know in all this, if there is someone who can save our future.. Its Ranjit. She says ranjit? He says yes. Ranjit comes in the door and overhears. Mahan says I have fought so many battles. I can tell the depth of a lake by just seeing it. I have seen the courage in one person to save the nation and its Ranjit. Mahan says he won’t disappoint you. Mahan says but thats what he had been doing for quite some time. Raj says give him some time. He will not disappoint you.
Ranjit goes out and ride his horse. He comes to cliff and recalls words of Mahan. He promises his land something.
Ranjit does practice all night. He works on all his weaknesses.
Scene 2
Ranjit comes to camp next day. He says all the swords are ready. Dal says today.. you have to cut the trees with just one shot of axe. Everyone come one by one. Ghulab doesn’t perform as well. Dal says you all need more practice. we will try again tomorrow. Ranjit cuts the tree in one shot after everyone leaves.
Precap-Ghulab says I want to fight in the sword fighting. will you be my partner? Rajit says yes. Ghulab says in heart he doesn’t know he will have fight alone.
