The episode begins with, kunti talking to Krishna.. She says karna knows the meaning of dharma, he even knows that duryodhan is on wrong path, but he will never leave duryodhan.. That’s my bad luck. Krishna says he can leave duryodhan, n only u can make him switch to pandavas. kunti says so many years have passed and how will i face him as his mother? kunti requests Krishna to try to convince karna n tell him the truth that she is karna’s mother. Krishna says i can’t convince only request him so i will give it a try.
Krishna goes to karna’s house. he meets karna’s mother Radha.. She says I’m ashamed of my son since he is supporting Duryodhan. Krishna says he is doing so because he doesn’t know what is his real identity is.. karna comes there. Krishna says its very difficult to change ur decision at this time; duryodhan could change his decision but he has lost all his chances…. karna says he is doing so because he has the right to be coronated as king but he was never given his right, so he behaves like this… karna says when whole world was against me, duryodhan helped me and so I’m bound to him.. so i will never leave him n this is not a war for me but a thanks giving to duryodhan.. Krishna says if you were a king would u still be on Duryodhan’s side?? karna says this is not an valid question because im a charioteers’ son and son of radha so i would never be king.. Krishna says what if u were kunti’s son? Karna says why will i think on that?? Krishna says because u are kunti’s son.., all ur strength is lord surya and Narayan’s blessings, lord Surya is you’re father.. And radha had found u in river ganga.. karna gets shocked when he learns that he his kunti’s son… He says this is impossible.. Krishna says if u don’t believe ask ur mother, and wen u find I’m telling truth think over the war n choose the right side.
Karna rushes to his mother in tears.. he says Krishna is fraud he said I’m not ur son was he telling the truth.. radha says you’re my son… karna says then y did Krishna tell me this i think he is trying to manipulate me.! he was trying to prove my life a lie. He is fraud duryodhan was right Krishna is fraud n evil. radha says don’t u remember your childhood? I’m with u from ur childhood u are my son i have raised u so u are my son so what if i have not given u birth..? she stops realising she has spoken truth… Karna cries,
Radha tells him that till today they took care of him and she and karn’s dad raised him together. Karn and Radha start crying and then karn asks that if they did not give him birth then who is his real mother. She is unanswerable and is crying.. karn asks her again.. She tells him that they don’t know. He then tells him that he and his wife wanted a son and they used to pray everyday at the ganga river and finally one day they got him in a basket from the river. Karn cries and then asks him that whose son is he. Am i really kunti’s son..! How!. He goes ahead and then turns back and tells his mom that people know him from the name radhey and now if anyone asks him his name what will he tell them and he goes away sad.
Vidur comes to Krishna and tells him that he is sorry but he only wants peace in all the brothers. Vidhur tells that he is sorry for such an insult he had to go through. Krishna says its ok and it was not his fault and tells that he tried a lot to stop war but he has been unsuccessful in that and who will be a victim of his failure will be decided in the war. He then tells that he will soon send a invitation of war to hastinapur.. Krishna turns to kunti and tells he will go and that her sons will come for her blessings before the war and kunti tells that she does not fear from anyone unless he(Krishna) is there with her sons. Krishna tells that if she is tensed about anyone then she should go at that person and tell him and then Krishna goes.
Karn is sad and he goes to river ganga.. He remembers all his encounters with his mother kunti and brothers. He remembers that he had told arjun that he will kill arjun on the battlefield. He starts crying and falls on the ground. His wife, Vrushali comes and tells him that even Krishna has two mothers and he gives them equal love, so why is he tensed…? Karna tells that if the situation is such of a war and he insulted his brothers then the heart will stay hurt and bleed and there was no need of all the struggle i have done to give my art a recognition… all the insults i have ever faced…. i always thought was because of arjun n always thought of defeating him to earn my respect n prove myself powerful and now i know that arjun is my brother… Younger brother.. i should show love towards him n duryodhan who has helped me since my childhood i have to show him hatred…! What should i do now? on one hand i have my brothers n on other my friend.. vrishali says only one person can help you out n its mata kunti.
Kunti is in tears with the memories she has of karna…
In the morning while karna offers prayers to lord surya (sun) kunti comes their she says son karna I’m here to ask u for favour can u please help me.? Karna looks In confusion
