Radhika and Sammy, along with the twins were having the breakfast. The opening and closing of the door alerted them. An angry Neil was in front of them. Before anyone could react, he pulled Radhika into his embrace. He was breathing heavily. Radhika was hell worried by now. She was continuously rubbing his back.
Radhika: Nikki…
Neil: (His grip tightened every passing second.)
Radhika: (Hugged him tight, comforting him.)
Sammy: (Was hell scared and glanced at Arjun, who was at the doorstep.)
Arjun: (Averted his gaze.)
Sammy: (By now, she was sure, the news wasn’t appreciative. She let out a sigh.)
The twins were worried, but decided to stay calm.
After few minutes,
Neil: (Without breaking the hug, he pulled her head, cupping her face. Caressing her face.) No matter what, Ra, you’re staying with me forever… No f**king power is separating us… (He was shaking out of anger.)
Sammy: (Sternly.) Neil…
Neil: (Spoke nothing. He simply gathered his little sister into his chest once again.)
Radhika: (Was terrified by now. Her eyes finally met with the waiting eyes of Arjun.)
Their eyes were locked. She felt strengthened under his gaze. His presence made her calm and strong. He was eased to see calmness in her eyes. His eyes never left hers. The world around them were stilled.
Neil could sense the difference in her, being in his arms. He tilted his head to notice her eyes focused on something. He averted his gaze to same direction and found his loyal man with his eyes locked with his sister’s eyes.
He didn’t know whether to be a possessive brother or loyal friend. He held her tighter and let out a sigh. After patting her head few times, he pulled off from the hug. He brushed her hair and tucked it carefully. With final two pats, he walked out of the room.
But before leaving,
Neil: (As he passed Arjun.) Arjun, stay here…
Arjun: (He nodded once.)
Sammy: I’ll be back… (She caressed the twins’ face and walked out of the room.)
Outside the room,
Neil: (Was standing facing the large glass wall, lost in his thoughts.)
Sammy: (Stepped towards him and stopped just behind him.)
Neil: (Without turning.) I need you, Sam… Please don’t stay back… It kills…
Sammy: (Without any second thought or word, she hugged him tight from behind.)
Neil, let out the breath he was holding for long. He held the hands encircled around his waist tight. The next moment, she was plastered to the wall adjacent to the glass wall and his head buried in the crook of her neck. Her fingers were tangled in his locks. Her one hand travelled to his back, caressing his back slowly.
After few minutes, he pulled his head back to get his eye locked with the pair of eyes that caressed him and showed him love always. She lifted her hand, cupping his face, she caressed his cheek bones. He closed his eyes, feeling her soft touch on his skin. She tip-toed and hovered her lips over his and breathed a promise.
Sammy: I’m here Neil, right beside you… We’ll settle things right and live our life happily with your siblings, who are mine now…
Neil: (Without a word, slammed his lips on hers and devoured her completely.)
Sammy: (Tightening her grip around his neck, she surrender herself completely into his arms.)
After few minutes, they separated themselves from each other for their breath.
Neil: (Caressing her every single feature, under his fingertips, he breathed few words in her ears, making her heartbeat go wild.) I want to expand our family more, love…
Sammy: (Pushing herself more into him, she gave him, her reply.)
Neil: (Tightened his grip around her waist and pulled her fragile body more into him, if that was even possible.)
Sammy: Neil…
Neil: Hmmm… (He tilted his head, to look at her face.)
Sammy: (Playing with his shirt buttons.) You would have to wait a little for it… I…
Neil: (Chuckling slightly, he nuzzled his nose near her ear.) I know, love… I understand and am very well aware about your dates…
Sammy: (Buried her head deep into his chest, embarrassed.)
Voice: (From behind.) What is going on…?
Voice: (From behind.) Get a room both of you…
Neil: (Rolled his eyes.) Get off… (Still holding Sammy in his embrace.)
Sammy: (Giggled and pulled off from her love’s death grip, against his struggles to hold her in place.) (To the twins.) Now, what are you two upto…?
Kittu: Getting hell bored…
Athu: Where is the piano…? I would love to play my fingers a little… (Showing his fingers.)
Kittu: Why do you want a piano, to play with your fingers…? There are many other better things…
Sammy: (Choked in her own saliva.)
Athu: (Eyes bulged out of the socket.)
Neil: (Burst out laughing.)
Athu: You’re so dead, Malhotra…
Kittu: (Sensing his twin’s next move, he ran for his life.)
Athu: Idiot, wait… Let me get hold of you, I’m not sparing you…
Kittu: I mentioned about doing finger exercise, if your dirty mind thinks dirty, what would I do… Dirty fellow… (And was still running to save his life.)
Hearing the chaos outside the room, Radhika came out, with Arjun behind.
Radhika: What is going on…?
Athu: RD, his dirty talks are back… (He came and settled near her and went straight to Arjun and buried his head in his chest, and arms around his waist.)
Arjun: (Hugged him back tight. He had a pleasant smile spreading his lips.)
Kittu: (Panting hard.) Got saved…
Sammy: (Twisted his ear from behind.)
Kittu: Ouch… SB…
Sammy: You have a very dirty mouth, young man… (Fake glaring.)
Kittu: (With puppy face.) Sorry…
Sammy: (Shaking her head, smiled and let go of his ear after giving a tight twist.)
Kittu: Ouch, SB… (And rubbed his ear to ease the pain.)
Radhika: (Chuckling, came and stood beside Kittu. Pulling his cheek hard.) My little brother is becoming too naughty…
Kittu: Ouch… RD… (And rubbed his cheek, to ease the pain.) All are having fun torturing me…
Athu: Good, you’re yet to be tortured by me… (And directly landed on Kittu, taking him to the floor and tickled him hard.)
Kittu: Athu, stop… (And laughed hard.)
Radhika: (Joined them and tickled both the twins.)
Kittu & Athu: (Joined hands together and started tickling their sweet sister.)
Radhika: (Laughing loud, begged them to stop. She started going out of breath.)
Neil pulled Kittu back and Arjun pulled Athu back, saving Radhika from the little monsters.
Radhika: (Tried to catch her breath.)
Kittu & Athu: (Were tensed to see their sister struggling.)
Sammy: (Offered some water and continuously rubbed her back.)
Radhika: (After few minutes, she was back to normal. She extended her hand for her little brothers.)
Kittu & Athu: (Went running into her extended arms and hugged her tight.) Sorry, RD…
Radhika: I’m fine guys, relax… (And rubbed their backs.)
Sammy: (Sitting beside them.) Yup, your RD is absolutely fine now… (Pulling Kittu into her embrace and continued.) But next time, you both be little careful… Fun should never create trouble to others… Hmmm…?
Kittu & Athu: (Nodded affirmative.)
Neil: (Kneeling in between his siblings, pulled them into his embrace, with Sammy.)
They had a family hug.
Athu: (Pulled Arjun by his wrist and pulled him into the hug.)
Everyone had a smile on Athu’s gesture. Arjun was overwhelmed with his gesture. All the emotions were stirred inside him, with Athu’s little and innocent gesture.
Neil: (Felt happy and proud of his little boy. He was happy that his family too accepted Arjun, as he had years ago.)
Voice: Boss…
They turned to find Parth, Sid and Yuvi standing.
Neil: (Stood in front of them.)
Yuvi: (Handed him an envelope.)
Neil: (Opened the envelope and found few photos. The colour of his face started changing.)
Arjun: (Stepped forward and took the photos from his hands.)
Neil: f**k… (Murmured under his breath.)
Sammy: For God’s sake, Neil… (And huffed.)
Neil: Please Sammy… Not now…
Sammy: (Stepped forward and pulled the photos from Arjun’s hands. The floor below her was shaken. She eyed every single men in the floor.) What the hell…?
Neil: Sam, stay out…
Sammy: (Cutting him off.) Dare you ask me to stay out of it… I won’t think twice to spank your head right now… (Fire spitting out of her eyes.)
Radhika, Kittu & Athu: (Were dumbfound to see this side of Sammy.)
Kittu: (Whistled appreciating her daring act.)
Athu: (Showed thumps up to Sammy, when they turned hearing Kittu whistle.)
Neil: (Glared them, which they gave a royal ignore. Shaking his head, he walked off and pressed the button for the private elevator.)
Parth, Sid and Yuvi followed him with Sammy behind. Radhika followed them into the elevator with Kittu and Athu tailing her. Arjun knew it is useless to argue with Malhotra siblings and followed them.
Neil: (To his siblings.) What are you guys doing…? (And looked at Arjun.)
Arjun: (Shrugged.) It is useless to argue with a Malhotra…
Radhika: Genius… (And stayed stiff and unaffected under her older brother’s gaze.)
Neil: (Stepping close to her.) It is not funny, Ra… Things are complicated here, you can’t just get yourself into the war field and…
Radhika: (Cutting him off spoke, without turning towards him.) Things are complicated in life, no matter what kind of life you lead… The only difference is the field… And a war field is never new for me… I have seen plenty along with my little brothers…
Neil: (Tried to interrupt her many times, but she didn’t let him to.)
Radhika: (Continued.) We have seen worst, Nikki… There are occasions were we fought for a day meal, fought for our self-respect, fought for protecting each other… If this is not enough, (turning towards her older brother, looking straight into his eyes.) there are occasions, I had fought to save my damn virginity from the hungry wolfs, single handily… There had been occasions I kept my little brothers away, even without their knowledge… Wolfs and blood suckers are anywhere and everywhere, Nikki… The only difference is they have different forms of executing their evilness…
Neil: (His eyes were filled with unshed tears.)
Sammy: (Was shaken by her every single word. She felt helpless and felt miserable that she couldn’t help the lady in front of her, whom she accepted as her family.)
Kittu & Athu: (Were shaken by the revelation.)
Radhika: (Averted her gaze and spared her little brothers a glance. She could read hurt, anger and pain in their eyes. Averting her gaze, her eyes were locked with the pair of eyes that she had been lost in right from the very first glance. She could sense many feelings erupting from them, like, anger, hurt, pain and something she couldn’t decipher.)
Arjun: (Averted his gaze, he wasn’t able to look into the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen and admired filled with pain.)
Radhika: (Pulling her eyes back to her older brother, she stepped forward and buried her head in his chest and her hands snaked around his waist.)
Neil: (Closing his eyes tight, he lifted his hands and covered her protectively and tightly in his arms.)
Parth: Boss… (Pointed towards the open door of the elevator when Neil turned towards him.)
Neil: (Anger filled his eyes at the sight in front of him.)
Kittu & Athu: (Felt disgusted.)
Kittu: (Turned his face away.)
Sammy: (Felt helpless and disgusting. She pulled Kittu into her arms, who was already to blast out of anger.)
Kittu: (Snuggled closer into her arms.)
Athu: (Was shivering out of anger and disgust.)
Arjun: (Pulled Athu into his arms.)
Athu: (Neither he pulled away from Arjun nor hugged him back. He stood still.)
Radhika: (Could find difference in Neil’s body language. But she didn’t try to look at the reason as she was scared about what storm is waiting in front of her. She snuggled closer into her older brother’s embrace.)
Neil: (Gathered her close to his heart, and comforted her.) Parth, back to the top floor…
Radhika: No… (She pulled her head from his chest. Locking her eyes with her older brother.) Don’t let anything come between your duties, Nikki… Just hold on to me when I fall weak, I’ll come back with enormous strength…
Neil: (Wiping off the lone tear that flew from her eyes, kissed her forehead. He got hold of her wrist and guided her out of the elevator.)
The rest followed the duo.
