It had been one week,since Riddhima joined the college.She met Vansh,VR and also made new friends in class as well as hostel.She was enjoying her college life.
It was 8 o’clock at night.Riddhima had come back to her room after talking to Chirag.Now she was revising her chapters.She then received a call on her phone from unknown number.She picked the call.The person spoke,
Person: Riddhima,don’t got to the mess hall.
Riddhima: May I know,whom am I talking to?
Person: It’s me.
Riddhima: Oh!!…But why are you asking me to not to go there?
Person: I’ll tell you.But before that meet me at the baskeball court…and yes,no more questions.
Riddhima: Fine.I’m coming.
She hanged up the call and went to the basketball court.There she someone standing.She went there and stood behind him.
Riddhima: Yes,now tell me why you have called me here.
The person turned.It’s Vansh.
Vansh: Have patience….Now you come with me.
Saying this he took her to the backside of the college.There was a small gate at the end.It was locked.
Vansh: Let’s go.
Riddhima(confused): But where Vansh?And why have you brought me here?
Vansh: Uff Riddhima…for now,I can just tell you that we are going out through this door.
Riddhima: But it’s locked….wait…you mean we are sneaking out of the college.
Vansh: Smart!.Now let’s go.
When Riddhima asked him about where they were going,he asked to keep quiet and just follow him.He unlocked the door and they both were out.Then,Vansh took out his car from a neighbour’s house and insisted Riddhima to sit.After she sat,they left.There was silence for 2-3 minutes.Then Riddhima asked,
Riddhima: Vansh where are we going?Whose car is this and how did they allow you to take it?Why..
Vansh(interrupting): Riddhima,please have patience….Ok,this car is mine.And that house was of my uncle.I sometimes park my car there.He knows about it.Even my parents know.And yes,they know about me ,being here.

After this none of them spoke.Riddhima turned down the window pane and started to enjoy the cool breeze.She opened her hairs,that were flown away by the wind.She was lost in the thoughts of Vansh.Since she had met him,she had been attracted towards him.His company gave her solace and peace.She couldn’t stop herself from thinking about him…..On the other side Vansh too was thinking about Riddhima.He looked up at her.Moonlight was reflecting on her face,which made her even more beautiful.He turned on the song.It was romantic song.They both started humming the song,while being lost in thoughts of each other.
They came to a restaurant.Vansh asked Riddhima to wait,while he went to park the car.After he came back,they went into the restaurant and seated themselves.
Riddhima: Vansh,now will you please tell me.
Vansh: Riddhima…actually…I thought that we all had got our fresher’s party…so I thought,why not give you a fresher’s party…after all you are a new student.
Riddhima: umm..so this is my fresher’s treat…thank you Vansh,but you could have given me a treat in college cafeteria as well.
Vansh: Oo…I didn’t think of it….Let’s leave…I’ll give you a treat in cafeteria tomorrow.
Riddhima: Vansh!Stop being sarcastic..
Vansh: No…I’m not being sarcastic.I’m serious.
Riddhima(making a funny face): Haha,very funny.
Vansh(smiling): Order the food now.
Riddhima ordered the food.After the food was served,they started to have it.Vansh was having glimpes of Riddhima while eating.She was looking too cute while eating.While eating,they started to discuss about their hobbies,likes and dislikes.Both were enjoying the moment.
Riddhima: Vansh,I didn’t know that you are so mischievous. The studious and introvert kind of Vansh,has this side also..it was unexpected.
Vansh: Yes,I don’t make many friends…..and about sneaking out..VR and me,we both love to sneak out of college and enjoy our night parties.
Riddhima: VR,The Perfect Guru?? I didn’t expect that he would do such things….but,isn’t it risky??…although I have always wanted to come out of college at night,but never dared to do so….(suddenly)have you ever came out with a girl?
Vansh: Not me,but VR had a friend.He used to go with her.So I got inspired from him.
Riddhima: Ohhkk.
They had their dinner and came out.
Vansh: Let’s go to park.
Riddhima(excitedly): OK!
They reached the park.It was almost empty.They started to roam around the park.Just 10 minutes had passed,that Vansh’s phone rang.It was Pranati’s call.Vansh excused himself and took the call.From the other side,he heard sobbing sound.He got tensed
Vansh(tensed): Pranati,what happened…why are you crying?
Pranati(crying): Bhai..
Vansh: Pranati..calm down..calm down..tell me what has happened?
Pranati: Bhai..dadi..(and she started to cry more)
Vansh: Pranati..what dadi..please tell what happened..
Pranati(trying to calm herself): Bhai…dadi…she got heart attack.
This came as complete shock for Vansh.He couldn’t believe what he just heard.Darkness fell in front of his eyes.He couldn’t handle himself more and fell down on his knees.Tears started to flow from his eyes.
Riddhima who had just came there,was shocked to see Vansh in this state.She quickly went to him.As soon as he felt someone’s touch on his shoulder,he immediately hugged her.He was crying very much.She tried to console him,but he was Inconsolable.
Riddhima: Vansh,Vansh…what happened?…please say something..please don’t cry.
Vansh(suddenly): Dadi…I need to go to dadi.
He got up and started to move towards his car.He was not able to walk properly and was about to fall,when Riddhima held him.
Vansh: Riddhima,I need to go….dadi needs me.
Riddhima: But Vansh,you won’t be able to drive in this state.
Vansh(helplessly): I have to go Riddhima.
Riddhima: But you won’t be able to drive….umm..let’s do one thing..I’ll drive.You tell me the direction.
Vansh: But..
Riddhima: I can’t let you go alone.
Vansh nodded.Riddhima took him to passenger seat and settled herself on driver seat.Vansh directed her to his house.After around twenty minutes they reached RS Mansion.Vansh immediately came out of the car and ran to meet dadi whereas Riddhima parked the car.
When Vansh entered the house,he was shocked.
