The episode begins with Vasundara rudely questioning Vaiju, asking if she is happy to see them in the hospital or if she is happy about Ranvijay’s condition. She tells Vaiju that no one wants her there and adds that if their mother were alive, she would have been ashamed of her. Vaiju retorts that Vasundara has no right to speak, reminding her how she left her “godh” empty on her godh bharai (baby shower). Vasundara then accuses Vaiju of taking revenge on Ranvijay for that incident and demands to know why she has come.
Vaiju firmly states that she is there only for Vayu. Ranvijay arrives and starts humiliating Vaiju, but Jaya interrupts, revealing that she was the one who called Vaiju. She explains that she had requested Vaiju’s presence. Ranvijay insists that he has
Jaya reveals that she did this out of her responsibility as Vayu’s mother. A flashback shows Jaya pleading with Vaiju, saying that Vayu’s treatment will only start if she comes. She tells Vaiju that she lost Vayu once because of her own actions, but now, Vaiju has the power to save him. She begs Vaiju to return, as only she can heal Vayu. Another flashback shows Sunita questioning Vaiju about why she changed her decision not to go to Bhoomipur. Vaiju admits that she already lost Vayu once and cannot afford to lose him again.
Vaiju acknowledges that Ranvijay saved Vani by taking a bullet for her. Jaya then confronts Ranvijay, reminding him that he went to Shiv Ganv with hope, just as Vaiju did. She tells him how much Vayu misses his “fighter aunty” and insists that their past issues shouldn’t ruin Vayu’s present. Rao Saheb then advises Ranvijay to let Vaiju meet Vayu.
Instead of agreeing, Ranvijay coldly accuses Vaiju of coming for money. He asks her to name her price and hands her a signed blank cheque, telling her to leave his and Vayu’s life forever. In response, Vaiju tears the cheque in front of him and throws it in his face. She declares that she came only for a mother’s sake, as she, too, is a mother and understands the pain.
Just then, Vayu hears Vaiju’s voice and wakes up. Vaiju tells Ranvijay that it is his decision whether or not Vayu will meet her. Before Vayu can reach her, Ranvijay refuses to let them meet, forcing Vaiju to leave. As Vayu steps outside looking for Vaiju, he faints again upon not finding her. Jaya turns to Vasundara and asks if she still believes that Vayu doesn’t need Vaiju.
