The Episode starts with Laxman asking Dasharath to stop this from happening, he is still the King, use his powers, command Ram not to go. Ram says I can’t step back from my promise, I have taken my decision. He requests everyone not to blame Kaikeyi for this, we have spent good time with family, if you hurt Kaikeyi, it will be like hurting me, I love her as much as she loves me, if you all love me, then give the same respect to Kaikeyi. Everyone cries. Laxman says you will never get the permission. He goes. Ram hugs Kaushalya and consoles her. He apologizes to Dasharath.
Dasharath says I won’t be able to live with this guilt, I did a crime by giving this promise to Kaikeyi, I would have killed myself if I knew you will pay the price for my mistake, look at Sita, how will she live without you for 14 years. Ram looks at Sita. Sita hugs Kaushalya. Laxman says I understood it now, Kaikeyi had planned all this, how can she do this, how can she become a bad mother, no, I will not let Ram obey the bad thinking of a bad mother. He gets angry. Laxman says if you don’t permit, I will keep all duties of a husband, since its not your mistake. Sita says you have refused for the throne and this sacrifice will make you remembered by the world forever, you have set a new example of love for the family by making this sacrifice, you don’t need to feel ashamed, I m proud of you. Ram hugs her and they cry. Sita thinks to get courage to tell her decision to him. She says you are Ayodhya and Ayodhya is you, none can change this truth. He says now look at me Sita.
