Chapter 24 – Run, Run as fast as you can

Veer’s Residence:

Sid is seen entering Raj’s home along with Fati, he is very nervous and Fati calms him down again and again and thought, ‘I really have no idea, what I ever did to get this one as my brother, he is such a nervous wreck!*Rolling eyes*’ They both entered inside and saw Raj’s father talking to someone in mobile, seeing Sid he stops speaking and hugs him tight saying, “I know, what you are going through now, that Idiot of my son just doesn’t realize how good of a friend you are to him. I know you are not responsible for Raghu’s *chokes* death, go speak to him and get some sense into his head.” He Kept his hands on Fati’s head and said, “Be happy always my child.”

Sid moves towards Raj’s room to find him deeply thinking about something (Thinking about Sid). Fati being Fati played ‘Ye Dosti hum nahi chodenge’ yet again. At first Raj thought he was imagining then he continued to hear the song and saw Sid and Fati standing there in front of his room door. He rushed towards Sid, slapped him hard and said, “ Idiot! How many times should I tell you? When I am being an idiot you should make me realize, but instead of making me realize, you just let me go? How dare you? You son of a chimpanzee Grr…”

Sid dint know how to react to his stupid friend and hugged him tight while the song kept playing in the bg. Fati, who saw this thought, ‘So, Raj Bro was just being emotional only Sid was being an Idiot here. I really have no idea what to do with my idiot of a bro.*sighs*’ (Even Author sighs). Sid said, “I even went to Kalia’s place and got the details out of him like last time by confusing him. He didn’t do a thing, so who would have done this?” Both were sitting on Raj’s bed and thinking deeply while Fati said, “ Why it has to be our enemies? It can be Taarika bhabhi’s too.” Both looked at Fati and squeezed her in their hug and rushed out. Fati thought, ‘See! I am more intelligent than these two combined. *lifts up her imaginary collar*’

Taarika’s residence:

The sound of Pragya’s mobile resonates in Taarika’s room, ceasing the silence. At first she hesitated to pick it up, but atlast ending up attending the call anyway. That’s when she heard that Witch’s voice, “Hello Pragya! How are you feeling now? And where is Abhi and Divi? Don’t tell me you let them follow me. Oops! I always forget why did I call you in the first place. Actually, I love to play with you, so now the game begins Pragya. I am out of their eyesight, but I can still see them both. They are standing exactly where I want them to be, exactly within 10 mins another bomb blast will occur. If you want to save them come soon. And Darling don’t even think about calling them and wasting your time, I will switch on Jammers after I cut my call. And your time starts now!” * Call cuts*

Pragya took her mobile with her and started running thinking, ‘Oh! No! I don’t want to lose them too. Who the hell is she? I don’t think she can do anything with their mobile services let me try.’ She runs along the corridor, trying both Abhi’s and Divi’s mobile alternatively to receive one single message, ‘The number you are calling cannot be reached at the moment.’ She said, “Shit! This woman is a real danger! Run Pragya run, as fast as you can.” She ran and searched for them inside the house now only 2 minutes left. She went outside to the lawn and dint spot them there either, she tried their mobile phones again but of no use. She ran outside to be met with Police officer’s, Forensic analysts all she could think of was, “So many people are in and around here how can she again plant a bomb here somewhere. *1 minute left*

She ran again and before she could reach *Boom* she fell unconscious and Police officers rushed to her and took her inside the house. Doctor was called to check on her and she found that Pragya’s Bp shot up due to tension hence she fell unconscious. Police officials were waiting near her bedside to get details from her. Abhi and Divi sat on either side of her bed and was waiting for her to open her eyes. Pragya slowly opened her eyes to see Abhi and Divi sitting on either side and Police officials waiting to question her.
After questioning her Police officials left her with Abhi and Divi and went down to question other family members. All Pragya said was, “I don’t know anything, sir, I got a call from an unknown number that both Abhi and Divi , sorry Divya are in danger that’s why I went there.” One of the official asked for that mobile number and Pragya handed her mobile to him and he noted it down. Both Abhi and Divi were shocked to hear her statement. Divi asked her remembering the statement, “Don’t tell me that Witch called you and told you so. We never left the house we were in terrace we saw a shadow move towards terrace we both were on the terrace when the bomb blasted.

Pragya was shocked, she got another message from a new number stating,

Oh you thought I would kill them so soon? No way! I want to play with you Pragya I love to do! Please play with me please! Oh! I keep forgetting things you don’t have any other choice. *Laughing emoticon* And yes, I tried to kill you asap but you escaped from my clutches. *Laughing emoticon* See you later darling *Winking emoticon*

She showed the message to both Abhi and Divi , Abhi left the room after whispering something to Divi in frustration. Divi who saw Pragya eyeing Abhi with a heavy heart said, “Pragya, don’t worry he is just worried about you. She just left to show that message to the officials.” That is when she notices her mobile missing. She hugged Divi tight and said, “I don’t want to lose you two and Bulbul too. You three are my most prized possessions. Please don’t leave my side, tell him to come here quickly will you please.” Divi looked at Pragya and nodded her head and called Abhi to inform the same. Divi thought, ‘She is strong now! But don’t know how long she will be the same. God, show us some way to know about that new Witch.’
