Chapter 22 – He killed my brother
Taarika’s Vidai :
All were standing near the door of her residence with tears that they are letting off of their only salt and sweet daughter. Taarika hugged everybody and bid good bye and came near the car to find Pragya and Divi standing with tears. That was enough for her to break into tears the very second, she ran towards both and shed her tears hugging them tightly. They were the only one who knows the emotional side of her except for her mother of course. It was XUV-500 black model Taarika, Raghu, Sid, Raj,Pragya and Divya boarded the vehicle
and left. After the vehicle crossed the gates it burst into millions and trillions of pieces.
A voice is heard crying out loud, “Didu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Sister)” Another voice cries out, saying, “Bhai!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Brother)” Both their voice gets chocked in sorrow and now they are on their knees crying out loud. A girl runs towards the voice which called out Didu hugs her and consoles her saying, “I know I can’t console you now Pragya, because I myself is drowning in sorrow. Our sister, she… she left us.” *sobbing* *More loud cries from both* . A boy runs towards another voice which called out Bhai. (I know you guys would have guessed that’s an easy one 😉 ) . Hugged him tightly and cried along with him, saying, “I am an orphan, you know that very well, Your family treated me as their own son. Not only you, I Lost my brother too Raj.” (Yes, That’s Pragya – Divi And Sid – Raj duo)
Abhi who saw Pragya crying, couldn’t handle himself and ran towards her and hugged both Divi and Pragya because he knows how it will be if you lose the only person whom you consider as your family. Suddenly Pragya stopped crying and said, “I am responsible for this! I am the one who is responsible for this. She … She tried to kill me and ended up killing my didu Abhi, Divi . My Didu, she died because of me .” *sobs* *Cries out aloud*
Raj and Sid are also hugging each other and crying in the other corner, suddenly Raj stops crying and said, “What did you say? He is also your brother? No, I don’t know think that’s right because you are the reason for his death, you killed him! YOU KILLED HIM!!!!!” Sid said, “ No Raj, I am not the reason, I dint do anything, I swear.” *Sobs* Raj smirks *with tears flowing from his eyes like a river flowing from a mountain* and said, “ No, you are the reason, he promised to help you. Somehow they got to know about this and killed him. I hate you don’t come in front of my eyes get lost, I don’t want to see you forever.” Raj walked away saying this.
Sid tried to stop him by holding his wrist, but in vain, Raj pushed him and started running towards that burning mess of the blasted car. But
Other people pulled him back and at the exact time fire engine came and extinguished the burning car. No body was recovered from it, only ashes remain in it which was also wiped away because of water from Fire engine. Sid again tried to speak to Raj but he has closed not only his ears, but also his heart to Sid.
The whole house was a mess now, Everone crying around thinking about what happened in the last 24 hours. Losing Taarika has made them lose their senses, Now even if some burglar came and asked for every penny they have. They would give it away without sulking, because Taarika was their most precious treasure. And seeing Pragya and Divi breaking down Taarika’s family, let them in the house along with Abhi.
Pragya and Divi were taken into Taarika’s room by Abhi, He left them alone to bring some water for them to drink. Pragya’s mobile beeped with a message, a few seconds later her mobile started ringing and she knew who it might be so she picked up the call and asked, “What the hell do you want?” And all she heard as reply was, “One down, three more to go Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Bye for now Pragya, take care till then, oh no! No! you won’t even have time for that Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.” And hung up the call. Pragya sat there feeling lifeless all her energy drained, tears rolling down her cheeks. A flashlight was seen crossing her face, but she paid no heed. She checked the message received by her it stated :
One down, three more to go !
Another message popped in her whatsapp she checked to find out her crying face.
Divi who noticed Pragy being lifeless asked her, “Who was that?” All she heard as a reply was, “She said , one down, three more to go.” *Sobs uncontrollably lying on Taarika’s bed*
Sid’s POV
Now that all is over I am sitting outside on the lawn and wondering how myself and Raj were able to escape this tragedy. Myself, Raj, Divi, Pragya, Taarika, Raghu were about to board the vehicle when Raghu’s uncle and his family came and asked for a lift. All of us being generous offered them a lift, Now Taarika, Raghu, Raghu’s uncle, his wife and two of his children boarded the vehicle only to be killed in a bomb blast at the end. Now all I could think of is, ‘What did I do? Is loving a pure hearted soul, such a big mistake? Already I don’t know anything about her and don’t even know how to find her. Me and Sid tried a lot to collect details about her only to fail miserably. Now I lost my brother (Raghuveer), My friend, I feel like I lost everything to this wretched world.’ *sobs**sniffles*
Veer’s Residence :
Raj enters inside his home to find everyone looking at him with a questioning look. He kept quiet, not giving away anything about the bomb blast, but they knew something was wrong, something amiss. So they asked him once again, only to hear him scream , “He killed my brother! That good for nothing killed my brother.” *sobs falling on his knees.*
A/N: So, Who is troubling Pragya??
