Chapter 32
Sarna Mansion
Party
The boy said, “Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I know you all must be wondering what’s happening here and, I’ll surely tell you all but, before that introduction toh banta hai na(introduction is must).” He took a pause and said, “I’m Rahul Singh. Actually, I have come up here to tell you all something or rather most importantly my mama and mami. I know you both have always taken the best decisions for me and will continue to do so. I’ve always respected each and every decision of yours but, today I want to tell you that I can’t marry the person whom you’ve selected for me.” He walked towards the crowd while the spotlight was made to follow him. He stopped near the gate and brought someone under the spotlight. He sat down on knees and said, “Will you be mine forever Kritika?” Kritika stood shocked while Rahul said, “I love you Kritika!” Suddenly, the lights were switched on everyone started clapping. “See, I told you na the plan will be successful”, said Mahi. Kritika looked at Mahi and said, “What do you mean?” “This was all a plan to finalise your and Rahul’s marriage”, replied Mahi and smiled at others. Kritika looked at Rahul who smiled at her. She stepped back and ran out of the house. “What happened to her?”, asked a confused Yuvraj. “Wait, I’ll check”, replied Rahul and followed Kritika.
Road
Kritika was walking lifelessly on the road. She said, “This time also it was a plan. Ahhhh!” She screamed as she saw a truck coming towards her. She closed her eyes in fear. The truck was about to hit her when someone pulled her to the side. “Are you mad? Can’t you move? You see the truck coming towards you and you stand there?”, screamed Rahul. Kritika opened her eyes and pushed Rahul away. “Why did you come here?”, asked Kritika. “What should I do then? Leave you alone who cannot even cross a road carefully?”, replied Rahul walking towards her. He pulled her closer and said, “Anyways, you didn’t accept my proposal Ms. Kritika Taneja.” “I don’t love you”, said Kritika looking away. “I know you do”, replied Rahul pulling her even more closer. “No, I don’t”, said Kritika sternly. “Look straight into my eyes and say that you don’t love me”, said Rahul. Kritika looked into his eyes and said, “I don’t.” “Say the entire thing Baby Doll”, said Rahul. She pushed away Rahul and said, “I don’t love you. Do you get that?” “Fine then”, said Rahul and moved to the middle of the road. “What are you doing? You’ll die. Move away from there. This road is very busy at this time”, shouted Kritika. “I want to die. If you don’t love me then, there’s no point of staying alive”, replied Rahul. A car was coming towards Rahul at high speed but, Kritika pulled him to the side and said, “Are you mad? Why do you want to die so soon?” “Leave me. Let me die”, said Rahul moving towards the road. Kritika pulled him back and kissed his lips. Rahul reciprocated. It was a long and passionate kiss expressing their love for each other. After sometime they pulled back and Kritika shouted, “I love you Rahul! I love you!” Rahul smiled and hugged her tightly. She hugged him back. After some time, they pulled back and smiled at each other. Rahul wiped Kritika’s tears and said, “I love you even more Baby Doll.” “Come, let’s go back now. Everyone would be worried”, replied Kritika. Rahul nodded his head and entwining his hands with Kritika’s went back home.
Sarna Mansion
Hall
The party got over and everyone started leaving when Rahul and Kritika entered. Everyone smiled looking at them. “Rahul, beech raste mein khade hoke ki ek dusre ko kiss kar rahe the?”, (Rahul, you both were kissing each other in the mid road itself?) asked Kunj while Twinkle hit him with her elbow. “Jiju, aap ko kaise..”, replied Kritika and was about to complete when she came back to senses and started blushing. “Di, someone is feeling too shy”, said Twinkle teasingly. “Ya, I..”, Mahi was about to reply when she fainted and lost her balance. She was about to fall down when Yuvraj held her and picked her up in his arms. “Kunj, call the doctor. Something is wrong with her. She fainted yesterday also”, said Yuvraj. “Why didn’t you tell us before?”, asked Usha worriedly. “Maa, we’ll talk about it later. Right now Mahi needs rest and Kunj, call the doctor quickly”, said Yuvraj and walked away to his room.
Yuhi’s room
After about 15 minutes, the doctor came. “What happened to her?”, she asked. “I don’t know. She suddenly fainted”, replied Yuvraj. “Okay, if you all don’t mind can you please wait outside? I’ll just check her”, said the doctor while everyone nodded their heads and went out. Yuvraj closed the door and stood there tensedly. “Calm down Bhai. Nothing will happen to Bhabhi”, said Rahul consoling Yuvraj. Yuvraj roamed around in front of the room when the doctor came out and said, “Congratulations Mr. Sarna. You’re going to become a father soon.” “How is Ma.. Wait, what did you say?”, replied Yuvraj. He took a pause and said, “That means she’s pregnant?” The doctor nodded her head and as everyone was about to go in being overjoyed she said, “She still hasn’t gained consciousness. I would request you all to not wake her up as she needs some rest.” Twinkle said, “Okay. I’ll leave you and come.” “Kunj, you also go”, said Bebe. “Sure Bebe. Why not?”, replied Kunj. Twinkle found something fishy and said, “No need Bebe. Maa, Papa and Kriti are also coming along. I don’t need anyone else. Anyways, it’s just up till the gate.” “Okay fine. Anyways, Leela ji will you all come here tomorrow morning? We’ll discuss about their marriage”, said Bebe. “Sure. Even I was going to tell the same”, replied Leela. Rahul signalled Kritika “8I’ll call you” while Kritika started blushing and said, “Maa, come let’s go.” “Ya come.” The Tanejas and Twinkle along with the doctor left from there leaving Rahul smiling.
Twinj room
Twinkle came back to the room after leaving the doctor and talking to Leela and RT for sometime. She entered the room and found it empty. “Where is this kunj at midnight? Anyways, wherever he is, let him be. I can’t stay awake anymore. But, I’m so excited. We’re going to have a new member in our family”, said Twinkle. Kunj came and hugged her from back. “We should also think for one na?”, said Kunj. “That is what is left. Khud ko toh sambhala nahi jaata tumse aur tum chalein kisi aur ko sambhalne (You can’t take care of yourself and, you will take of someone else). Now, leave me”, replied Twinkle. Kunj tightened his grip and said, “But, you can manage yourself na. So, we won’t have a problem.” Twinkle turned around and said, “Kunj, go change and sleep. You’re talking complete nonsense.” Kunj pulled her close and said, “You looked so beautiful today.” “You already told. Now, go sleep”, said Twinkle. Kunj moved his fingers sensuously on Twinkle’s face and said, “I can’t stay away from you.” Twinkle smiled and said, “And?” “Log kehte hain ki pyaar mein sab hosh kho baithte hain, maine toh apne aap ko hi kho diya hai”, (People say they lose their senses in love, I have lost myself only) said Kunj. Twinkle opened her eyes and smilingly said, “Itna pyaar karte ho mujhse?” (You love me so much?) Kunj nodded his head and said, “Actually no. More than this.” Twinkle smiled and said, “Okay, I’m very tired. Let’s sleep now.” Twinkle pulled back and turned around. As she was about to go, Kunj held her wrist and pulled her back. “Not so easily sweetheart”, said Kunj and kissed her neck moving her hair to one side. “You smell damn good Twinkle”, said Kunj. Twinkle smiled and said, “By the way, you were looking hot today.” Kunj smiled and turned her around. He pulled her closer and said, “Really?” Twinkle nodded her head kissing his cheeks. He picked her up in his arms and said, “You’re so tired. You won’t be able to change also na, I’ll make you change.” Twinkle widened her eyes and said, “No, I can do that much. Put me down.” “No, I want to help you”, replied Kunj walking towards the dressing room. Twinkle started beating him and said, “Put me down or I’ll shout.” “Shout. Everyone is sleeping anyways”, said Kunj and closed the door of the dressing room.
