Chapter 17
Delhi
Airport
The flight landed and everyone got out of the plane. Twinkle and Kunj collected their luggage. “Did you call everyone at home?”, asked Twinkle. “You think everyone will be awake at 12? I messaged Bhaiya”, replied Kunj. Twinkle and Kunj boarded an Ola cab and went to the hotel.
Hotel Crown Plaza
Twinkle and Kunj entered the hotel and Twinkle said, “Such a nice hotel. Is your convocation going to take place here only?” “Yes, that’s why we booked a room here”, replied Kunj smilingly. They went to the reception and Kunj said, “I have a booking in the name of Kunj Sarna. Can you please check?” “Just a minute sir”, replied the receptionist. After around a minute she said, “Yes sir. We’ve booked the best honeymoon suite for you.” Kunj and Twinkle were shocked. Kunj said, “I think you’re having a mistake. We’ve booked a normal room.” “No sir, you’re booking is for a honeymoon suite”, replied the receptionist. Twinkle took the card (the key) and said, “Okay thank you. Come Kunj.” Kunj was even more shocked. The receptionist said, “We’ll send your luggage to the room right now sir.” Twinkle and Kunj walked towards the elevator.
Elevator
“Twinkle, see I didn’t book the room. It was bhaiya who did the booking”, said Kunj. “I know. Call him right now”, replied Twinkle. “Now at 1?”, asked Kunj. “Okay, call him tomorrow morning itself”, said Twinkle. Kunj nodded his head.
Hotel room
Twinkle and Kunj entered the room. The room had red curtains and red bedsheet. It had two towels folded in the form of swans facing each other. It was presented in such a way that they were kissing each other. Twinkle and Kunj looked at each other and burst out laughing. “Okay, I’ll go, change and come. You be ready”, said Kunj. Twinkle nodded her head. Kunj took his clothes and went to the washroom. Twinkle unlocked her suitcase and found it filled with western clothes. She was shocked. She shouted, “Kunj, my suitcase I think it got exchanged with someone’s.” Kunj came out of the washroom and said, “No, it didn’t. I kept the western wears for you. In Amritsar I understand you’ve to wear salwaar in front of everyone. In Delhi, please don’t wear those.” “No, I can’t wear these”, said Twinkle. “I don’t think you have any other option. So, go and change”, replied Kunj. Twinkle replied, “No, I’ll sleep wearing this. Tomorrow we’ll go for shopping.” “Why? Are you afraid of wearing western wears?”, replied Kunj. “Why will I be afraid? Okay fine I’ll wear these for this trip but, I can’t wear jeans and sleep”, said Twinkle. “You go, freshen up. I’ll give you your dress”, said Kunj. “Okay fine”, replied Twinkle and went to the washroom.
After about 15 minutes,
“Kunj”, shouted Twinkle. “Ya, take”, replied Kunj and gave a set of dress to Twinkle. Twinkle took it and said, “What is this?” “I thought it was a dress”, replied Kunj sarcastically. “Ya, but this..”, Twinkle was about to complete when Kunj said, “See, Twinkle please. Don’t be so boring. Become a bit modern yaar.” Twinkle said, “Okay fine.”
Twinkle came out of the washroom wearing a white and black striped top with a black coloured pleaded skirt till her knees. Kunj came to her and said, “See you look so pretty in western wears. I don’t know why you always wear salwaars.” “I’ll wear all these in Amritsar?”, Twinkle sarcastically asked. “No, I never said that. Why were you doing so much drama now?”, replied Kunj. Twinkle said, “I didn’t wear all these after our marriage that’s why.” Kunj pulled her closer by her waist and said, “But, you know what! You look hot in these dresses.” Twinkle moved her hands struggling to free herself and said, “Okay. Come, let’s sleep.” Kunj kissed her right cheek and said, “Why are you always in a hurry? Have some patience.” “Kunj, it’s 1 at night”, replied Twinkle. Kunj kissed her left cheek and said, “I’m not in a mood. This honeymoon suite changed my mood.” Twinkle widened her eyes and said, “What do you mean?” Kunj bent down and picked her up in his arms. “Kunj, see you’re very nice and I know you won’t do all this. So, please put me down”, said a tensed Twinkle. Kunj put her down near the bed and said, “What is your problem? Why do you talk so much?” Twinkle started hitting his chest and said, “What were you thinking of doing huh? Don’t try to act decent.” Kunj held her hand and said, “What was I thinking Twinkle? If you know, please fulfill my wish. I don’t have a problem at all.” Twinkle kicked him lightly but Kunj fell down on the bed. Twinkle started laughing but, Kunj pulled her. “What are you doing? Leave me. I feel really sleepy”, said Twinkle. Kunj wrapped his arms around Twinkle’s waist and said, “What did I do? You sleep here itself. I’m not in a mood to leave you.” “Kunj”, exclaimed Twinkle. Kunj forcefully made Twinkle rest her head on his chest and both of them fell asleep.
Morning
Amritsar (Sarna Mansion)
Yuhi’s room (at around 10)
Mahi entered the room and went near Yuvraj who was working on the laptop. “Do you have the time to talk to me?”, asked Mahi. “Ya tell”, replied Yuvraj looking into the laptop. “I knew it. You won’t have. Leave it”, said Mahi and was about to go away when Yuvraj held her hand and pulled her back making her sit on his lap. “So, Mrs. Yuvraj Sarna. Tell me what happened”, said Yuvraj while entwining his hand with Mahi’s. “What are you doing? Someone might come”, replied Mahi. “Right now, you wanted me to spend time with you. When I’m doing that you’ve a problem”, said Yuvraj and kissed her left cheek. “Ya, that’s okay. But..”, said Mahi but was interrupted as Yuvraj put his finger on her lips and said, “Shh.” He moved her hair to a side and kissed her neck. He turned her around and was about to kiss her lips when they heard Bebe calling Mahi. Mahi quickly stood up and ran out of the room. Yuvraj said, “Tonight will be your best night Mahi.” Suddenly, his phone rang. He picked up his phone and smiled seeing the name. “10 baje inko ehsaas hua! Vaise ab puchna padhega puri raat maza aaya ki nahi! (They realised at 10 o’clock! By the way, now I need to ask whether they had fun the entire night!) Lol! Honeymoon suite”, said Yuvraj and he picked up the call.
