Hello guys!!! It’s me Aleena back!!! Well I know it’s quite a long time actually I was preparing for my exams and when I thought that my head would burst I thought to write this story which was revolving in my mind from so long!
Here it goes,
Kunj’s p.o.v:
I have never seen her so depressed. Tears were running down her face as I walked towards her. I would have given my life to stop those tears in her eyes but there was nothing I could do. Nothing can console a person who has lost a loved one. She probably did not know it the, but she meant the whole world to me. I wanted to talk to her and gather her in my arms and tell her that I loved her and that she had me for the rest of her life, even if her mother had left her.
Restraining myself because the elders were there, I took her hand and squeezed it gently to let her know that I felt the pain in her heart. She looked into my eyes and then fell into my arms. Then she threw all her restrain and sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. I could not hold my tears and started crying too. A few of our friends who had just arrived threw their arms around her and all of us huddled together and cried and why not Leela aunty was like a mother figure to all of us. We stayed with Twinkle the whole time of the wake and the funeral.
Next day I sat thinking of the plight my lady was in. I knew that she need me, so I decided to go to her. When I arrived, her father was glad to see me. He led me in and pointed to her room. I went in and saw Twinkle sitting in the corner of the room; staring vacantly into space. I managed a weak smile and sat beside her. She looked at me and tears sprang to her eyes. I took out my handkerchief and gave it to her. She took it, wiped her tears and returned it to me. “Let’s go out,” I said.
She shook her head. “I think you should. Being alone at home is not going to help you overcome your grief,” I said gently.
She kept quiet. “Let’s go to a movie,” I said.
She turned to me suddenly. “Are you asking for a date?” she said. I nodded.
“Well, you chose a fine time,” she said and turned away angrily, “I think you better go.”
That got me angry. “Look, this may not be the right time to tell you this. I don’t care what you think of me and I know that you probably don’t care about me at all, but I’m going to tell you anyway. I’m crazy about you. I know I cannot replace your mother; nobody can. But I want to be there whenever you want me. I cannot stop caring for you no matter what you say,” I said.
“Why?!!” she asked angrily.
“Because I love you dammit. Don’t know how, when, why but I love you like nobody can. I cannot promise to bring you stars and moons but can promise that till I am alive I will fulfil all your wishes,” I said angrily and left the room.
Her father put his arms on my shoulder when I went into the hall. He had probably heard everything I said. He did have to day anything. His arms around my shoulders said that he approved me. I shook hands with him and left.
Then I walked to the lift and pressed the lift button. Within me I was trembling half with embarrassment and half with anger. Also, deep within, I felt an emptiness. Anyway I was glad that after worshipping her for four years, I had finally confessed her. Then I heard a voice shouting “Kunj!”
I turned and saw Twinkle running towards me. When she reached me she threw herself into my arms. I just held her close and stroked her hair gently while she sobbed away. “I love you, Kunj,” I heard her whisper, in between her sobs.
As soon I realized what she said I drew myself from the hug and stared deep into her eyes only to find lots and lots of love for me. Within no time I captured her lips into a passionate kiss…

AFTER FIVE YEARS:
Kunj’s p.o.v:
Here I am staring my beautiful wife while she is sleeping and taking rest after a lone love making. While staring her I did not even realized when she woke up until she snapped her fingers in front of me. As soon as I came in senses “Happy fifth wedding anniversary jaan!” I wished her pecking her lips. “Happy fifth wedding anniversary hubby!” she replied while pecking my lips. While I kept on thinking that I could never had found a love so true if I had never found her and engulfed her in a bone crushing hug which I wish would last forever……..
