It’s been quite a while that I have updated this FF but could’nt be an apt time than this as Ishqbaaaz also are ready for their Karva chauth function. hence to compensate a super long update; Ignore any mistakes…
Anika was busy the whole day as Gauri is unwell due to her pregnancy and soumya has gone to visit her sick mother and either with Ansh or the function prepations…Shivaay is irritated that still anika is ignoring him and he is also jealous of his son!!
Finally after the whole day of running around anika is keeping the final things the SARGI ready and then is planning to leave to her room…the entire house is dark and suddenly she feels two hands pull her in the corner..she gets scared first but later realizes that its her Shivaay..
Anika – Shivaay what happened leave me someone might see us…I want to go…
Shivaay – Ani baby I have been waiting the whole day to meet and talk to you and you are behaving so rudely with me…I thought you would also miss me…
Anika – Hmmm im sorry I was so busy I did not notice the day go by…shiv lets go im tired I want to sleep and Ansh will be ready to sleep…hearing this he loosens her grip on her and moves from there…anika notices his sadness and tried to stop him but he just leaves to their room…she thinks to talk to him once she gets Ansh back to the room…ansh was with Pinky when anika was busy…
Anika – mummyji is Ansh sleeping…she sees him asleep and takes him to her room.
Pinky – you take rest now…you were working the whole day..tomorrow is a big day you will be fasting na….
Anika – yes I will
As she reaches her room she sees shivaay already asleep…she wonders maybe he is tired so he has slept….she too lays Ansh in his crib and sleeps beside shivaay…
Om’s Room
Gauri – Omkaraji ok lets sleep I need to get up early tomorrow its Karva Chauth…I feel so bad I could not help Anika bhoujai today….this is all because of you…
Om – Hey I told you you will not work till baby is here…you are weak and doctor said to take extra care…
And what you are fasting?? No way do you need to fast for me…
Gauri – Then what you will fast for me??
Om – Hmmm…I don’t know ok lets sleep now…you need rest…
Gauri – I think you will make me fat like football…
Om laughs and they hold each other and sleep…
Rudra room
Rudy is in a bad mood as Saumya is not with him and he will have to celebrate alone…he calls her…
Rudra – Sumo where are you..ive been calling you since long….
Saumya – Rudra u know im with my mom…crybaby…she is not well still
Rudra – Sorry sumo its Karva Chauth and I was missin you too much…you will not be here like my bhabhis…
Saumya – Hmmm I miss u too I will try my best to come tomorrow if aai is ok…bye good night…
Next morning
All the ladies get up and meet Dadi for the Sargi…
Pinky – Mummyji this time the Karva chauth will be special I will have both my bahus.
Dadi – Did you send shipra’s sargi to her…Pinky nods in confirmation.
Jhanvi & Anika comes to take hers and then the men of the house also come….it is Oberoi tradition that the men of the house also keep a fast for the women…Tej, Shakti takes thiers….
Om – Dadi this time Gauri cannot fast so I will do it on behalf of us both…
Rudra – Ohh dadi how will I stay without my protein shake…
Dadi- Arre Khoteya you don’t love your wife so you need to do this…he makes a crybaby face…
Pinky – Where is shivaay??
Anika – Mummyji I think he was very tired yesterday night I will take his and give to him…then all leave for their rooms…Anika sees that shivaay is still sleeping and comes to wake him…
Anika- Shiv pls get up here take your sargi…
Shivaay –(he gets up groggily) Hmmm why have you woken me so early….let me sleep…
Anika- Shiv today is karva chauth and you will be fasting na….Shivaay is very upset with Anika and does not respond…anika avoids troubling him thinking he is tired….
Later in the morning shivaay gets ready and leaves for office without meeting Anika…anika lady khumbakaran gets up late as usual…
Anika- Hmmm missed meeting shivaay today morning….just then Ansh starts crying anika attends to him and then gets ready to go meet the family to check the preparations for the Pooja in evening…
She tries calling shivaay during the day but he does not answer….still she suspects he is busy and needs time she decides to get ready and surprise him in evening….she calls him again late evening when she sees that all the men are back except him…
Anika- Shivaay when will you be coming home…I miss u
Shivaay – Ani pls don’t wait for me im busy and will take time…
Anika – But shivaay today is Karva chau….before she could complete he disconnected….she had tears in her eyes but still thought he must be busy….
She gets ready and goes to the terrace where the Pooja will be held…she is walking around suddenly feels giddy…she holds a tree close to her…she dismisses this for the hunger and weakness…
Just then Dadi calls for the family…..
Dadi – Anika you have done a wonderful job….she hugs her…
Gauri – Bhoujai im sorry I could not help you but you have done a good job…
Just then Rudy enters crying…
Rudra – Dadi when will this chand come out I am so hungry…
Dadi – Makes no point for you…saumya is not here so you have to fast till she comes and breaks your fast….
Rudra screams and his eyes become big as saucers…all start laughing…
Rudra – Dadi I will die please don’t say like that…..just then a girl calls out “hey im back”
They turn around its Saumya…Rudra just runs and hugs her tightly…
Rudra – Sumo thank god you have come now I won’t die…
Saumya – Crybaby stop crying and let me go I have to get ready…
Dadi – Anika everyone is here where is Billu…
Anika – Dadi I think he will be late he said he was very busy…
Dadi – What he is busy even today…Shakti call him now and tell him to leave everything and come home…Shakti tries to call he does not get through…
Anika- Dadi don’t worry let start the Pooja on time he will come later…
All get ready to see the moon and start the Pooja…anika sadly holds Ansh and keeps her eyes on the door but there is no sign of Shivaay…
