shivay got a call from arjun and picked it up.
arjun: hi shivay.
shivay: arjun, long time. how are you?
arjun: good thanks. with a heavy heart, i am to inform you that gauri is dead.
shivay: what?
he drops the phone smashing it into a billion pieces.
rudy: bhaiya, what happened?
shivay: break the door.
rudy: what?
shivay: I SAID BREAK THE f**kING DOOR!!!
shivru breaks the door open to see the room in a mess and om still breaking the statues. his kids run up to him.
aliya: papa! papa, yeh maat karo!
viren: dad! see munni aur pari are here and they are getting scared. don’t dad.
om: gauri, come back.
munni: what happened to mummy?
om: de…dead.
all was shocked.
aliya: mama is not here anymore?
om shooks his head. his children console him as he cried and tears rolled down their cheeks too. the entire family mourned as gauri was dead or was she?
the next day:
the family had a ritual. first they would burn a belonging of gauri’s then her body.
om’s room:
om was on the bed, not talking at all. he was staring into space. just then a lady came up to him. not just any lady. his jaan. his life line. his gauri.
gauri: what is going on?
om: last rites
gauri: who’s last rites? pass me a white sari.
om: your last rites.
gauri: mera last rites??? MINE?!
om nods and says: because of me.
gauri: arre be quiet. don’t forget i am too young to die.
om smacks his forehead.
gauri: omkaraji, do you really think i will ever leave you?
om shooks his head.
gauri: do you think i am dead?
om was silent and gauri decided to keep his hand near his heart.
gauri: skipping a beat right?
om: yes.
gauri: meaning i am not dead. always alive. in your heart, mind and in this world.
om felt tears rolling down his cheeks. gauri saw this and wiped his tears and kissed his cheek.
gauri: don’t cry. don’t cry.
om wanted to hug gauri but just then she disappeared.
om: gauri?
he realized that it was his imagination. he stood up and went downstairs seeing everyone in white. they were about to burn gauri’s anklets when……
om: WAIT!
everyone turned to see om going downstairs and took the anklets away. he replaced them with gauri’s favourite flowers.
jhanvi: what is this om?
om: burn anything but not gauri’s anklets.
all was speechless. what was so special about gauri’s anklets?? only om knew.
14 years ago:
gauri was wearing a burqa as she escaped the palace pretending being a normal person, not royalty. she had just paid for some sweets and went from the stall. her anklet was put on very loose. om was walking in the town. the same one as gauri was in.
he saw gauri’s anklet coming off her feet and was on the floor. he ran up to the anklet and went up to gauri.
om: excuse me miss.
gauri turned to see him and says: ji?
om: your anklet was on the floor.
gauri: oh. must have been loose. thank you.
om: by the way, it is a beautiful anklet.
gauri smiles and says: thank you. thank you very much for returning it to me. i would have died if i have lost it.
om: glad you didn’t.
gauri giggles a bit and goes but….
om: tera naam?
gauri shows her face and says: gauri. (whispering) don’t tell anyone but i am gauri kumari sharma. princess.
om whispering: sach mein?
gauri nods and says: aur tera naam?
om: omkara singh oberoi.
gauri: hope to meet you again omkara singh oberoi.
she goes and om smiles. the wind plays a melody and his hair starts to fly in the heavy breeze only he could feel.

om: in a million years, would i let anyone destroy this!! this anklet………. this anklet is the most important thing to me and gauri. if you want to burn one of her belonging, burn this flowers.
the family did as told and soon it was time to place a garland on gauri’s picture. media was here as well to see the garland being put on gauri’s picture.
rudy got gauri’s picture:
he placed it in the middle of the stage and then got a garland. they kept it on gauri’s picture and were about to go off the stage when om came on and took the garland off the picture and threw it in the fire.

om: YOU REALLY THINK I WILL LET ANYONE PUT A GARLAND ON GAURI’S PICTURE. THE DAY……. THE DAY I PUT A GARLAND ON MY WIFE’S PICTURE IS THE DAY WHEN I CONSIDER HER DEAD AND THAT……… AND THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!! GAURI IS ALIVE. FOREVER ALIVE!!! SHE IS ALIVE IN MY HEART!!! they shook their head and om asked the same question to his two youngest who said no.
om: EVEN MY OWN CHILDREN SAY THAT THEIR MOTHER IS NOT DEAD!!! BE ASHAMED ALL OF YOU!!! BE ASHAMED THAT YOU CONSIDER GAURI DEAD!!!!!
