“If you really want to go..you can” whispered Omkara punching the wall beside him.
“So you finished lecturing? of course I want to go” said Ishaana rolling her eyes. “I love Kunal”
Omkara shivered at the sound of that name.. ‘kunal’. It was echoing in his mind.
“Bye Om!” said Ishaana giving Om one last kiss on the cheek “I’m going to go to America..it was fun being with you..Bye!!” she waved as she left.

“Omkara ji!!” said Gauri as she saw her beloved husband walking towards his room.
Om turned around. His face was red, and eyes were filled with tears.
“What happened to you?” asked Gauri running towards him.
“Nothing” Om replied shortly.
“It can’t be nothing..see your eyes” said Gauri touching Om’s cheeks.
Om pulled her hands away in anger.
“Nothing happened okay?” He roared back at her.

Gauri went back to her couch, beside Om’s bed,at night. She stared at her ‘Ever loving husband’
Gauri loved Om with all her heart, despite knowing his affair with Ishaana.
Gauri and Om’s marriage was a forced marriage. Knowing the news Gauri was over the moon as she had secretly loved Om. But Om was devastated.
“What would happen to Ishaana?” He thought.
Ishaana was abroad at that time. While Om was continously worrying about Ishaana’s reaction about his marrriage, Ishaana was enjoying her life with her new boyfriend, Kunal.
Anyways let’s move get back to the current situation.
“Good night Om” Gauri whispered, as always.
She always whisper these words before going to sleep. Gauri and Om don’t talk much words with each other. Gauri always thought Om was talking from his eyes, and he was quite shy to talk with her. But that was not the case. Om has dedicated all his love to Ishaana..

Om woke up early in the morning, and opened the window to his balcony. Everything was the same. The birds were chirping, the sun was rising, Anika bhabi was doing yoga in the garden, But not him..He felt as if he has changed after Ishaana’s confession about Kunal.
“Good morning Omkara ji” Came a voice from behind. He turned around.
Om was taken back. It was Gauri..nothing has changed but..today was the day that Om looked so closly at her. Gauri’s inncont eyes were twinkling.
“Good morning” Om whispered. Gauri smiled. This made Om more mesmorised.
“What happend Omkara ji?” Asked Gauri.
Om shakened and looked away. Gauri laughed at his state.
“Let me go downstairs and bring your breakfast” she said.
Om smiled, the first time at Gauri.

“Here!” said Gauri as she was walking with the plate and a glass of water.
Om rushed to get his water, which made the glass break.
“Aiyo!!” shouted Gauri.
“Let me clean it” said Om.
He started picking the glass pieces. Gauri kept the plate on the table and also helped him.
“Ouch!!!!!!!” suddenly Om shouted.
Gauri looked up suddenly.
“Oh my!! Omkara ji..is that…is that..blood?!” She asked looking at Om’s bruiced hand.
Gauri rushed to get the medicine.

“Now I’ll have to feed you” laughed Gauri.
Gauri fed Om caringly, with love. Gauri felt happy doing this for her love.
“All finished!” she said after feeding him the last bite.
Gauri turned to go downstairs.
“Thanks!” Said Om with a smile.
Gauri smiled at him. Om felt a wave of embarassement flush through his body.
He married Gauri..and lived with her for more than a month..but never ever realised how beautiful she looked, how caring she was!!

Gauri knew she had to confess today..’today or never’ she thought.
“I can see in his eyes..today he is different..maybe he is also in love with me!” she wondered.
“What are you thinking about” It was Anika.
“Umm…Ani-” Gauri stammered.
“about Om?” anika asked cheekily.
Gauri nodded.
Before Anika could reply Shivaay came and hugged Anika from behind.
“Excuse us Gauri..She has a deal with me tonight” said Shivaay giving a kiss on Anika’s cheek.
“Sure!!” Gauri smiled.

Om was looking at his brother and bhabi’s romance.
“I love you!” Anika would say.
“I love you more” Shivaay would reply.
They would mess around, romancing and having FUN.
Om wiped the tear which slid from his eye, which reminded him of Ishaana.
Om was not much of ‘crying person’ but after the breakup he became very emotional.
“Are you crying Omkara ji?” asked Gauri from behind.
Om stared at her and headed to his bedroom. Gauri followed him and she also went inside. She closed the door.
“Leave me alone” Om shouted.
“No Omkara ji!! You are in trouble..tell me what’s wrong” said gauri raising her voice.
Om sat on his bed. Gauri sat opposite him on the floor. she stared deep into his hurt eyes.
“Omk-” Gauri was cut off by Om’s hug. He started crying.
“Gauri..I’m sorry..I need to tell you something”

Om revealed it all. All about Ishaana. their love story..their breakup..and EVERYTHING.
“I’m sorry Gauri” he whispered at the end.
Gauri stood still. She was shocked. Not because of the love story, Because her love was only one sided.
“I understand” gauri started. She knew she couldn’t continue anymore..she knew her tears would slip out any moment.
“Thanks..I knew you would” said Om trying to smile through his tears.
“But Omkara ji..did you know..when I got the marriage proposal how happy I was..I was so happy because..Omkara ji..I was so into you..I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world..I thought you thought the same way of me..but..today..I found out the truth..I’m shocked..I don’t know how to react..but there is one thing you should know..I love you Omkara ji..I love you” Gauri manged to let it all, eventhough she stammered a bit.
“Gauri..I didn’t know you loved me..I mean”
Gauri shook her head.
“It’s not your fault Omkara ji..how could you…but I was blind..blind by your love” she cried.
Om lifted his hand to hold Gauri’s cheeks. But gauri looked away and walked away

Gauri cried..a lot..sitting on the bench in the garden. It was dark..but she didn’t care.
“Gauri”
Gauri didn’t look back. She came sat beside her.
“Look Gauri..Om told me and shivaay everything..I’m sorry” said Anika.
Gauri looked away. She coudn’t face Anika.
Gauri remembered how she told the very small incidents which happens between herself and Om.
“Come here Gauri” said Anika as she pulled her to a very tight hug.
Gauri cried even more.
“Look…”

Gauri went back to the bedroom. It was late. Om was walking here and there when she entered. She acted like nothing happened and went back to her couch to sleep.
“good night Omkara Ji” said Gauri in the softest voice.

Gauri woke up early in the morning, before everyone else. She made everyone breakfast and took Om’s upstairs.
Om was awake when she took the breakfast to him.
Om stood still. Gauri smiled as usual.
“Here Omkara ji” she said.
“Gauri are you-”
“I’m perfectly fine..And please Omkara i..just imagine..it didn’t happened..then everything will be the same” she said.
Om nodded. He took his plate.
“Who else is awake?” he asked.
“Nobody..well nobody came out of their rooms” she said.
“Well..why don’t we go outside….you know for a walk?” he asked.

Gauri and Om walked through the streets, enjoying the morning.
“Even though it’s morning..look at the vehicles” said Om
“yeah..Look how fast their going” said Gauri joining in.
While they were judging the vehicles, they were interrupted by a man selling sweets.
“Omkara ji..look..sweets..perfect to start the morning!” said Gauri
“But that ‘s opposite the road Gauri” said Om “how can we pass the vehicles”
“Then I’ll go” said Gauri with determination.
“No no” said Om “I will go..you cannot pass this traffic.

Carefully Om passed the vehicles. They were going very fast..probably to work…Gauri thought.
Om waved after he went to the opposite streets.
“I got it” He shouted after getting a bag of sweets.
Gauri smiled. Om was mesmorised, once again…It was her smile which killed him.
But This happiness was not lasting forever…Gauri saw a high speed vehicle coming towards Om, Om was busy looking at Gauri.
Gauri tried to sign him this, but Vehicles were going infront of her aswell. There was only one thing she could do, Run..Run to save her only love.
And that’s what she did..Run..She Ran to save Om. And just at the nick of time she jumped infront of Om..

Om clearly saw what happened after Gauri’s jump. She jumped infront of him, and as she did the vehicle came and hit her. The sweets fell on the floor. Om stood still while the driver came out of his vehicle scared. Om held Gauri as she fell into Om’s hands unconsiously.
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Om screamed.
The driver came to Om.
“I’m sorry sir” said the driver shivering.
Om looked at him.
“SORRY!! SORRY??” He screamed. “I’ll deal with you later..now get my wife to the hospital”

Om sat on the chair. Gauri was admitted to the ICU. He looked at himself. He was not hurt..nothing..not even a bruice..Because of Gauri….
“Om” said a voice. It was Shivaay.
“Are you okay?” Asked Rudra.
Om nodded, but clearly he was not! Shivaay hugged Om. Rudra patted him on the back
“She saved me..It’s my fault” said Om, not showing any emotions.
Anika and Bhavya stood next to them.
Once in a while they would peek from the door to see Gauri’s condition. Anika and Bhavya was in tears seeing her state
“Mr. Omkara oberoi?” asked the doctor. “You can go and visit your wife”

Om dragged himself. He sat on a chair next to her. She was bandaged all over. The tears which was stuck in his eyes slipped out slowly.
“I’m sorry” he cried. “You were there, at all times to save me..but I couldn’t save you even if you were right infront of me”
Om holds gauri’s hands and slips his fingers into hers.
“I now realise..you loved from the day you married me, but all I did was hate you..I remember when I was stuck in a pit..shouting for help from Ishaana, you risked your life to save me” He sobbed
“Gauri please, come back to me, I promise I will take good care of you..Gauri..I stayed awake last night, recalling your care for me” he was trying very hard to speak as his tears slipped down his cheeks. “Gauri, yesterday you confessed your love..you probably imagined a dreamy confession..but I’m sorry i spoilt it..but I promise..when you come back to me..I will make it special…because you know..I love you Gauri..I love you” Om confessed. He was done..he couldn’t speak anymore his tears kept on flowing..he looked away..he couldn’t bear the state of Gauri.
“O..Om” Suddenly Om looked back at the words. It was Gauri..whispering.
“Gauri..I’m here dear” Om said, wiping his tears. He felt the grip of her hands tighten. Their hands were still tangled together.
Gauri coughed, while Om smiled.
“Nurse come here” shouted Om in joy

Everyone gathered around Gauri, as Gauri slowly came into proper senses. Anika and Bhavya hugged Gauri.
“Gauri..you are so lucky” they said.
Gauri slowly smiled. Om stared at her beloved Gauri.
“It’s getting late guys..you guys go..I’ll bring Gauri home tommorow..I’ll stay here” Said Om.
Everyone noded in agreement.

Om and Gauri stood in silent.
“O-Omk-Omkara ji?” spoke Gauri after a while. “I- heard- wh-what-You were saying”
Om looked at her. “What?”
“Omkara ji..I love you too” she smiled.
Om slowly came closer to her, smiling. Gauri smiled back at him, looking deep into his eyes.
“say it again” he whispered. He was close to Gauri now.
“I love you” she repeated.
“I love you too” Om confessed, once again, while hugging gauri tight!!

Okay..So I am probably a new writer to most of you RiKara fans..but some might know me
I always like it when couples fall in love after marriage as It’s so easy, and not complex. However this story is different, and It is my own creation!
I’m sorry if you felt as if Om’s confess was speedy, but I didn’t have time to mention that Ishaana has hurt Om, but Om has put up all of that as he belived that was true love.
Anyways I hope you liked my story, I didn’t have time to double check it so do forgive me for any mistakes.
