It was a bright sunny morning but not bright for Kaira because there nights had become sleepless. Days were passing by but nothing was becoming right. Naira was praying in her house mandir when she received a text. She ran to check it thinking it might be Kartik but it was something else. The text said

Meet me exactly at 12:00 pm at Goenka Group of Companies.

Naira knew it was Kartik’s father but she didn’t tell Kartik because she wanted to know what exactly was going on in Kartik’s families minds. So exactly 12:00 she stood outside the Goenka Group Of Companies.

N: May I come in? Naira knocked at the door which was titled MANISH GOENKA

M: Yeah please.

N: You called me uncle!

M: Please have a seat Miss Singhania

N: Naira Singhania

M: Yeah Naira. So Naira things aren’t working well.

N: Sorry I didn’t get you Uncle!

M: Yeah, I’ll explain. Listen to me first. My son is crazy behind you. He isn’t communicating with any of his family members just because his marriage idea with you is rejected. But the truth is nobody wants my son to get married to you. We GOENKA’S have a standard and you don’t come up to our standard. What to do?

N: I’m sorry uncle but love does not looks at caste’s or standards. We both love each other dearly and want to marry each other.

M: Oh come on! That love talks are rubbish!!

N: Then I’m really sorry uncle! I can really not help you.

Naira stood up to leave when Manish Goenka called from behind.

M: But i have a pretty good solution Naira.
You have a small sister that goes to XYZ School. A father who leaves for his factory at 8 in the morning sharp. And a brother who goes to his restaurant exactly at 10 and the mother is always at home. Am i right?

Naira stood shocked at the door, cane back and sat.

N: What do you mean?

M: I have 15 body guards around your family. Each one is only waiting for an action from me. My one hand and there would be no one named as the Singhania’s in this world.

Naira was utterly shocked. Kartik’s father was threatening her for her family.

N: What do you want from me?

M: Yeah right to the point!! Leave this country and go. I only want you to leave. If you want I can give your expenses, but leave so that my son forgets you and moves on or else you know what can I do!! You have a whole day to think. Tell me your decision soon, and do not even think of telling it to someone especially Kartik. Keep it in mind dear! Now you can leave I have a meeting!

Naira was dumbstruck. She quietly left the office with a numb mind. Cursing herself for falling love, for loving her family and every thing about herself because now she was stuck ALONE!
