Chapter 13
Naira got down on a beach. She ran and she ran, to stop at a point and started looking at something and she started crying. It was further found that she was looking at Kartik and her old picture. She could hear footsteps at the back. It was pretty assumed that it was Kartik. She was just constantly crying. Kartik wanted to go up to him but could not gather up all that courage. His spoke up,
“Naira!”
Naira fell on to her knees. Kartik quickly ran towards her and picked her up. He quickly embraced her into a hug.
“I was dying to hear this voice!” Naira said.
Kartik just kept her in his embrace while Naira kept on sobbing. He tried to come her down because wo kehte hai na actions speak louder than words. The only verdict he had to say was,
“I am so sorry Naira. I am literally sorry!”

But there was no reply. Naira quietly sat in Kartik’s arms because atleast he was with his families here but Naira was alone in London. She did not have arms to be comfortable or a shoulder to cry on. And just because they loved each other dearly, Kartik could definitely understand Naira’s position. So he quietly picked her up and took her to his hotel while she still lay in his arms, leaving the world because she had finally reached to her destination now.
With a coffee, the talk started,
“I am sorry Kartik! Don’t you hate me after all that happened?” Naira said
“ I never hated you Naira. Indeed I started loving you more the day I read your letter. I know these 10 years were not easy but we need not dig up past again! The present is we both are back again and we do not need to be afraid form any body. So leave all this and let me just fix this face in my heart.” Kartik completed and started to stare at Naira, while Naira hugged him tightly!!
They were lost in each other when Naira’s phone rang. It was Veronica on a video call. Karik looked at this and exclaimed,
“Arsa hogaya inn se baat kare huwe. Tum coffee piyo mai inn ko bhi ek surprise de deta hun.”
Kartik picked up the call and Veronica went crazy,
“OH MY GOD!! Am I dreaming? Is this a picture or a statue. No no but I do not want to talk to you! Saale cheater!” and she went on!
