Sorry for the delay in posting… As always iam not well… all the stress made my BP shoot to 160 poor me ,spending most of the time in stress relieving activities so unable to make it earlier… iam feeling better now so here comes the next shot 😀

I woke up hearing someone knocking my door…I turned to maya she was still sleeping… I got up and moved to the door to open…there stands a lady looking at me nervously…
I stood silently waiting for her to say the reason for disturbing my beauty sleep…
“I am sorry for disturbing… radhika asked for maya…” she stammered peeping above my shoulder to see maya
Although the house is filled with relatives I can’t give my princess to a stranger so I stood silently waiting for more information about her…
“Iam radhika’s brother Ram’s wife…”she spoke sensing my hesitance
“Anitha?” I asked her in confusion
“Yes…”she nodded with smile
Anitha, niece of dilip uncle, wife of ram a calm girl, opposite to nivi and radhu these three are partners in crime I have heard lot of their childhood adventures, altogether I have given enough information about her by nivi and radhu, I smiled at her and moved from the doorway signing her to take maya…
“She looks beautiful…”Anitha spoke with a smile picking maya in her hands
I nod back at her as she moved out with maya….
I fell on the bed again… closing my eyes…
I woke up from my sleep with a jerk hearing a cry… I rubbed my eyes and checked my watch for time its 3 PM… gosh I have slept for half an hour… I got up from the bed and moved to door to check about the crying sound I ran down realizing it’s from maya
There inside a room I saw maya crying in radhika’s arms…. Nivi, radhu, anitha and some others were trying to calm her but no use maya continued to cry more….
I literally ran to my princess and took her from radhika enquiring about the reason for her cry
“Just now I woke her up arjun she started crying suddenly I don’t know why…” replied radhika still trying to comfort maya
I looked at maya her face have already become red because of continues crying… she leaned on me placing her head on my chest all the time pouting looking at me, radhika and the surrounding…a drop of tear escaped from her eyes and ran over her chubby cheeks every time she blinked…. Her cry was decreased after coming to me but she was still sobbing….
She is not a cry baby…. yes she will cry but it was very rarely like she is not well or any other health issue, I have not seen her crying like this in this one year….most of the time she will be seen smiling…I know it’s hard to pacify a crying kid but I have not experienced such situation till now….
Her tears, I can’t take it for even one sec…. I don’t know what happened to me
“Why the hell u woke her up now? You are irresponsible Radhika…”I asked her in anger
“Arj…”she tried to speak out while her eyes welled up…she stopped wen maya started crying again
“What happened princess… y are u crying…see me daddy is here “I cooed at her trying to calm her
She looked at me and radhika still sobbing….
“Did mamma woke u up from sleep… let’s punish her once we go home…now stop crying princess…”I again cooed at her but no response
She started weeping bad… I know it’s not leading to any good…
“Do something radhika …”I looked at her defeated
She took maya from my arms… hugging her and caressing her back trying to pacify her …nivi and others also cooed randomly but no use…
Tears started to flow from her eyes seeing maya crying continuously
I saw Anitha who was also crying seeing her… what happened to her? Why is she crying?
I brushed my thoughts when I see mala aunty entering inside the room
She came and pulled maya into her arms
Radhika was startled initially but covered her shock at once
Mala aunty moved to the backyard carrying maya in her arms…
We followed her…
She sat on one of the wooden benches, placed maya over her lap rocking her she removed maya’s frock leaving her in white inners and wiped maya’s face and body with her saree… and ordered someone to bring a hand fan one of the servant handed her a hand fan made of dried palm leave she waved the hand-fan back and forth to induce air flow
Within 5 minutes maya started giggling at mala aunt’s cooing…
We slowly moved near her…
“This climate is difficult to cope up … she is new to this kind of environment… Maya was pulling her dress and sweating badly from the beginning didn’t u see dat radhika…I don’t know how u took care of her all these days” she chided sighing at radhika
Radhika was looking at her mom’s face without blinking… tears were flowing from her eyes ….i can clearly sense her inner state
I nudged her to bring her to reality…
“I ….i… just got scared seeing her crying bad…. I went blank… how…how u got to know…” she stammered
“I know because u too don’t like sweating… u will start crying once u start sweat… I and your dad will take turns and fan u… else we will bring u here once the fresh air touches, u will stop crying… see your daughter too did the same” Mala aunty spoke remembering radhika’s childhood
“See princess u scared mamma …” I took maya from mala auntie’s lap as she was extending her arm to me signing to take her
Maya looked at radhika and poked her tongue out and babbled something as response
“What are u saying?” mala aunty asked her pulling her cheeks
“She is complaining her granny dat her mom is not at all taking care of her so she wants her granny to scold her mom…”I replied on behalf of my princess smiling at radhika
“Arjun…”Radhika warned me
“What did I do…your pari is complaining hann na princess” I replied looking at maya
As usual she looked at me and radhika for few seconds
She nodded at mala aunty agreeing to my statement
And babbled more pointing radhika as if she is complaining making her laugh more
Radhika pouted sadly in defeat….
All of them gathered there burst into laughter seeing radhika and maya’s antics
“U scared us mamu… I haven’t seen u getting this much angry… see radhu is crying…”nivi spoke looking at me
“Maya didn’t used to sweating and all as she will be always inside room and in AC… this is the first time we are taking her out so we didn’t got to know about this aunty” now I spoke supporting radhika
Mala aunty smiled at me… I don’t know what she thought about me
I mouthed a sorry moving near to radhika… she hit me on my arm playfully wiping her dried tears and pulled maya into her arms….
“That is fatherly love nivi….even radhika’s dad can’t stand crying radhika… Do u know once he threatened me that he will send me to my mom’s house if I didn’t calm down crying radhika” mala aunty spoke laughing
“Daughters are precious to father than mother…” mala aunty continued side hugging radhika
“Thank you for accepting me ma…”radhika spoke with tears looking at her mom
“Do you want me to move to my maternal place at this age? ….” Mala aunty wiped her tears laughing
Iam happy seeing radhika smiling…. She got her mom back… one wicket out two more to go… I laughed at my own thought and moved my gaze away from the two beautiful ladies of my life that’s when I got to see dhilp uncle standing there looking no no staring at me as if he will burn me into ashes…
“What did I do now… y is he staring at me like this ? “I asked myself…
“What did u do? arjun u scolded radhika in front of him…” my conscience retorted coming out and standing beside me
“We look like twins” I chucked at it getting glares as response
“Scolded… when I didn’t scold her…”I asked remembering its taunt
“You raised your voice arjun… literally shouted that’s not lesser than scolding…”conscience snapped back
“Is dat a grave mistake?” I questioned in confusion
“Ok answer me … what will u do if someone scold maya in front of u…” conscience questioned back
“No one will dare to scold my princess in front of me … if they dare I will rip them into pieces with my bare hands” I replied calmly
“Here u go… u in dhilp ji’s place and radhika in maya’s place…” conscience jested at me
I gulped and smiled lightly at dhilp uncle as reality hit me…
He moved out from that place throwing daggers at me
“Arjun u dug your own grave man…”I spoke to myself
My conscience laughed at my state…
“Remember arjun u called her irresponsible… and complained to her mom that she is not taking care of your daughter” my conscience whispered into my ears before entering inside me…
I face palmed mentally….
Evening 5 PM:
I locked myself inside the room after afternoon’s incident… radhika was busy with marriage preparations as the grooms family may reach here at any time and maya was enjoying all the pampering and attention she is getting so both of them totally forgot about me… poor me I am killing time by lying on the bed looking at the ceiling…. My mind was sketching weird plans to patch up radhika and dhilp uncle and also to get good name from him… we both were having a heated discussions about the stupid plans it is coming up with….I can’t take it anymore I need a diversion to think properly…I got up from the bed moved out of my room shutting my stupid brain….
Servants and maids were running here and there in the hall doing some works…. In one corner a group of ladies were having some discussion… may be something important I can get that from their facial expression… my gaze moved towards radhika who siting among them… I leaned over the wall and started admiring my beautiful wife…. my favourite thing to do… no men will get bored of admiring their love…she was looking at their face keenly moving her head in all possible direction… her hair in a messy bun…some of the strands were hanging in front of her face hiding the view… she was tucking them behind her ears frequently…no one will accept that she is a mother of a one year old kid as her antics itself childish still…a peach colour salwar… wen did she change her dress? i dint see her changing?
I turned around sensing someone hitting my head… Radhika was standing there glaring at me with her hands on hips…
“no no I meant I didn’t see you coming upstairs to get changed…”I explained to which her form disappeared
I blinked twice seeing her disappearing form and turned my gaze to the group, she was still sitting there with same expression in her face….
“Gosh arjun u too started hallucinating….”I confessed to myself
“its ok let us continue our work…” my brain replied
Peach colour salwar she look angelic… angels don’t wear peach colour salwar my brain mocked me
“Shut up…”I snapped to which it went silent
I can’t identify any changes in her … she is still the same radhika I befriended 5 years back
Seeing her in salwar reminded me of our good old memories… I was enjoying my memory ride…
That’s when I noticed her fingers constantly rubbing her lower lip making them red… the sight itself wanted me to kiss them hard…
I byte my lip and slowly turned around expecting radhika’s image with same posture as before but to my disappointment I didn’t find her …
This girl is a threat for my sanity iam sure of that…I chuckled and continued to admire her…
“How dare u to sight my sister…”
I turned around hearing nivi’s voice
“I have all rights to sight my wife…”I boasted taking maya from her arms
“Your daughter made me tired mamu…”she fake complained smiling at me
“Get used to this now itself …. BTW if u r free can u explain me the history of this marriage…“ I asked laughing at her
She looked around to checking for any people and started narrating after confirming there is no one present there….
“So u arranged this like an arranged marriage hiding the fact that u guys are in love already… brilliant…”I praised her summarising the whole story in one line
“Love, no one knows that we knew each other, other than ram and Anitha….we are strangers according to all others“she replied sagging on the pillar
“So those 2 are in your team…”I questioned
“4 including u and radhu…”she announced clapping
“Mamu u too don’t show dat u know Aakash before…” she continued with a pleading look
I signed a thumbs up smiling at her
“But on one condition…”I stated
“What condition mamu…”she frowned at me
“U should help me in patching up radhu and dhilp uncle…”I demanded
“Deal “she agreed
“So any idea…”I questioned
She opened her mouth to say something but stopped immediately sensing someone behind me
I too turned back… 2 men were standing looking at us
“What u want?” She asked looking at them
“Dhilp sir asked us to fix this AC in this room” They replied pointing our room
We both looked at each other in shock
“Y this room? “ She asked them trying to pull some more info from their mouth
“We don’t know but heard dat it’s for his granddaughter she is not used to this climate so he wanted us to fix this immediately…” one of them replied starting their work
We looked at each other again and moved our gaze to maya who is now playing in the bed with some boxes
“Mamu do u think same as me” She asked me
“Maya…”we both spoke in sync gaining maya’s attention
She looked at us for few seconds and started playing again as she didn’t get any response
The two men finished their work in swift and moved out switching on the AC….
The room was cooled within minutes … Maya was giggling and babbling something whenever cold breeze hits her
“Maya is our lucky charm mamu we can bring periyyapa under our control easily” nivi announced taking maya in her arms
We moved out hearing some commotion from downstairs….
Grooms family have reached one of the servant announced and most of the ladies went out to receive them
“Your prince charming have arrived it seems…”I smiled at her
She ran down blushing without answering me….
Nivi u r blushing…. Oh god save me… iam getting heart attack I placed my palms on my chest and hollered at her running form
Maya who was in my arms now was blinking looking my face in confusion
She stopped on her tracks and turned around and glared me and ran down before I could speak further
I moved down following her….
Grooms relatives was accommodated in the nearby farm house only Aakash and his family members came here to meet the bride’s family
After 5 mins of greetings and formal talks we all settled in the hall
Nivi was standing near one of the pillars fidgeting her saree end… I was laughing inside seeing her this much nervous…
I moved my gaze towards Aakash… and watching their expression…
He was scanning the whole place in search of his lady love…. A glint appeared in his eyes as it met her eyes… a quick smile formed over his lips… her gaze lowered meeting his eyes as a slight blush covered her face…this is a most nostalgic moment all the lovers in the world longing for… Getting married to their love after lots and lots of struggle, breaking each and every obstacle thrown at them, claiming their love undying in front of the whole world, with their families’ support, wishes and blessings….
In the secret corner of my heart I felt sad because I and radhika missed these kinds of nervous encounters and blissful moments
I prayed to the almighty to give a beautiful life for the beautiful couple in front of me….
I was pulled out from my trance by Aakash’s voice
“Bhai u here?… I didn’t expect that I will meet u here…” he moved towards me exclaiming in joy
I was about to raise my hand but stopped when I sense nivi glaring at us…
Gosh poor guy forgot the drama they made in excitement…
“See my darling maya is here” he pulled maya from my hands all happy
Unknowing the fact that his happiness may end soon
I looked around to read others mind…
Nivi’s face turned pale… The shade of red I saw few seconds before have disappeared without leaving a single trace of its presence
Radhika was standing like a statue …no expression in her face…
Anitha was equally shocked standing with wide open eyes because she will also be pointed if the truth is out
Ram was standing behind his father rubbing his temples in tension… may be he is planning something to get out of this if the truth comes out
I smiled a nervous one… as most of others are staring at us in confusion
“Did u know him before Aakash?” Ram spoke first signing him to think of the truth
Aakash stood dumbstruck as reality hit him he looked around and gulped seeing nivi’s expression
“Yeah we know before itself… we met quite a few times in Mumbai officially…he also visited to our house once…” I spoke to avoid the situation getting out of our hands
“yes…yes…”he stammered agreeing to me
I can hear some low sighs of reliefs
“But u didn’t say me dat you gonna marry my SIL….”I continued side hugging him to make the situation normal
“How could I when I myself don’t know dat I gonna marry your SIL?” he replied composing himself
The family continued their conversation again averting their attention from us
I sighed in relief signing him to look at nivi
Though she is relived as the situation is under control her anger rose peak….her stupid lover, as she always address must have put all of them in danger by blurting out the truth
She signed something to him through her eyes but the poor soul standing in front of me was scratching his head as he didn’t get any hint which made her anger hit the threshold
After a good amount of try she showed her mobile and stormed inside a room throwing glares at him
I laughed at Aakash unable to control…
He looked at me with a pout… at the same time his mobile dinged with a text from nivi
I peeped into his mobile curiously to read the text…
The text reads: Come to terrace with 4 angry emoji and 6 knife emoji
“All the best bro” I wished him side hugging
“Bhai…”he whined like a kid
“Say bye to uncle… we will meet him tomorrow if he returns alive from terrace…”I spoke looking at maya pulling her from his hands which made aakash to frown more
“babbye…” maya babbled waving hands at him
He waved back mouthing bye
I moved from there pointing him the way to terrace stair….
“Bhai pray for me…”I heard him talking to me from behind
“Sure sure…”I spoke without turning to him
Poor fellow I don’t how he gonna face her wrath…. god save your child I prayed sincerely looking up….
