Episode 3 – The Bond

Neil and Arohi see Akshu and Abhi.

Arohi: Akshu, he made tea. It tastes really good. You should have it.

Akshu: Really, that’s sweet of you Neil. Shall
I have a cup?

Neil gives her tea.

Neil: Bhai, just a minute, I’ll make coffee for you.

Akshu: You don’t like tea?

Arohi: Askhu, sir doesn’t like tea.

Akshu: Really? Can even someone exist without liking tea?

Neil: Yes, bhai is a coffee addict.

Akshu: Oh…

Abhi: No, no, I’ll have tea now.

Akshu smiles while Neil and Arohi look at each other puzzled.

Neil: Bhai, but…

Abhi: I’m telling you nah, give me tea.

Neil gives him.

The four of them go and sit on the sofa.

Akshu, Arohi, and Neil have fun while Abhi constantly looks at Akshu. She also notices this and smiles.

Just then Manjiri calls…

Neil: It’s ma.

Neil and Abhi go to another room to speak with her. They both put the mobile in speaker.

Manjiri: How are you both? Have you reached? You didn’t even call me.

Neil: Ma, bhai got someone special, so he doesn’t have time for us anymore.

Abhi beats him while Neil keeps on teasing him.

Manjiri: Abhi, what is he saying?

Abhi: Nothing ma, he is blabbering. We have reached safely. No need to worry about us.

Again Neil starts to tease him, Abhi sends him away and takes the phone on.

Abhi: Ma, I need to say something.

Manjiri: Yes beta.

Abhi: I met one girl here. Her name is Akshara. I really like her. Whenever I see her and hear her name, my heart does something. She is like you ma. All her activities resemble you.

Manjiri smiles and prays to god.

Manjiri: I’m so happy Abhi, finally you got your soulmate. Tell her the details, I’ll fix the marriage soon.

Abhi: Ma, ma, don’t rush. I want her to accept me by love, not by family’s pressure.

Manjiri: Ok, I understand. You take your time.

Abhi: Thanks ma.

Manjiri wishes him and ends the call. Neil hears this from outside and gets happy.

He comes to Arohi…

Neil: Where is Akshu?

Arohi: She went to attend a meeting.

Neil: Ok fine come here. I need to tell you something.

Arohi: What?

Neil: Bhai loves Akshu.

Arohi gets shocked and surprised. She happily hugs Neil.

Arohi: That’s great news Neil.

Neil: Yes it is.

Then they realize the hug and move away.

Arohi: Sorry…

Neil: It’s ok. Even this is good.

Neil smiles at Arohi and leaves.

She is puzzled and smiles too.

After some time, Abhi comes to Akshu.

Abhi: Do you also like stargazing?

Akshu: Yes, at least by this means, I can see my mom and dad.

Abhi: Sorry Akshu, I have heard from Arohi that they passed away when you both were young.

Akshu: Yes, but we had our entire family to support us. And importantly our brother Kairav. He was there for us as both mom and dad. And later on, I and Arohi realized that we both should be there for each other. 

She gets teary eyes.

Abhi consoles her. She hugs him…

Akshu: Abhi, I saw you today only. But I get a safe and secure feeling whenever I’m with you. I wish I could have met you earlier in my life. Thank you for coming into my life.

Abhi: I will be there for you always.
