Anurag’s car picks up speed. While Anurag has one hand on the steering wheel his other hand is holding Prerna’s hand. She gives him a comforting press. Anurag leaves a deep sigh and holds the steering wheel tight as Kartik honks his car and in seconds Kartik’s car bumps into Anurag’s car. Anurag knowing the drill already manoeuvres the steering and guides his car to the tree on the side of the road close to Basu house. The car collides on the tree . Prerna and Anurag dodge down to avoid hurting themselves. Kartik and Naksh speed away. Seconds later Anurag and Prerna get up
Anurag: Prerna come on…we have to pretend that Im fatally hurt…
Prerna : Place your head on the steering wheel and act unconscious. Ill get into Basu house and bring Komolika here
Prerna is about to get out, Anurag pulls her closer

Anurag acts unconscious while Prerna gets out and runs into Basu house. She bangs the door which is opened by Komolika

She keeps her head on his chest and cries

Before he could finish saying this he is hit by someone from behind and falls on the ground with a thud making Komolika look up to see Keerthi with a log in her hand
