Keerthi is in her cabin when Naksh calls her

Keerthi: Hai Naksh

Naksh: Hai Keerthi…is Shweta fine?

Keerthi: Yeah she is alright. He had given her sedatives thats why she lost consciousness

Naksh: May I know who he is

Keerthi: Sure why not

Flashback

Keerthi is browsing through her social media (instagram ) when she gets a message request. Its from Aditya who is Anurag’s collegemate

Reality

Keerthi: In that way conversation started. I spoke to him in a very casual manner like I spoke to all other guy friends. But he mistook it for love and started to threaten me to accept his love.

Naksh: Thats so bad. Even if he loved you he had no rights to force you.

Keerthi: Haan if he mistook my friendship as love then its his mistake not mine right. Boys should undress the difference between a girl loving them and being friendly to them right

Naira’s bedroom Night 10 pm

Naira puts on headphones and gears up to sleep when her mobile rings. Its Kartik’s number. She remembers sharing numbers during cultural preparations and is overjoyed to receive his call

Naira: Hello

Kartik (in a stammering tone ) : Naira

Naira: Sir…

Kartik: Kaun sir…Im kartik …you know I really like you…today you won my heart by kicking him.
Naira realises that he is drunk

Naira: Kartik..where are you?

Kartik: Why will you come to see me?

Naira: Nahi woh…

Kartik suddenly starts to weep

Kartik: You reminded me of my mom. Like you she also fell unconscious in my arms…but..unfortunately I was too young and I could not save her. But Im happy to have helped you. Doooo you know something?
Naira: Whats it?

Kartik: Nowadays I think of you a lot…woh..kya hai na…after mom you are the first girl who feel so close to my heart

Naira is so happy to hear this

Kartik: That lady spoiled every happiness of mine. Planned and killed mom and is sitting as my step mom. She wanted power and money and the price I paid was my mom

Naira hears horns and is shocked

Naira: Sir…I mean Kartik..are you driving?

Kartik: Haan..going to the that building called home all for my brother and dad

Naira: Oh..fo…you are drunk and you are driving while talking on mobile too

Just then she hears a screech and is shocked.

Naira calls Prerna

Naira: Kartik sir has met with an accident. We need to go its an emergency

Prerna: How do you say?

Naira tells her the happenings

Prerna: Naira we can’t go now. Mishti knows his brother. I will get his number and then call you

Minutes later Abir is connected on a conference call

Naira: KG sir met with an accident. He actually drunk called me and…

Abir: What? Where

Naira: I guess he is back from usual bar near the theatre

Abir: Then he must have been taken to city hospital. Its nearby. Thanks for informing Naira didi. I will go at once with Dad.

Abir disconnects the call while Naira is shattered and she cries out loud.

Prerna: Naira he will be fine. We will go tomorrow morning  huh..please calm down.

Naira: My situation is so pathetic Prerna. I cant even meet him in this situation. I cant inquire too

Prerna: I understand that it’s difficult my dear. But please you dont spoil your health

Naira: If I wasn’t talking he would not have

Prerna: Shut up okay. He was drunk and thats why it happened.

Prerna consoles Naira.

City hospital 

Abir and Manish reach there. Kartik is in the emergency ward with a fracture and head injury. Abir is so emotional and is crying.

Mishti sees him and is about to run to him when a girl runs to him and hugs him. Mishti is shattered seeing it. She slowly walks to her cabin and starts to weep without any intention to stop. She feels as if she is choking. Kuhu sees this and rushes to her

Kuhu: What happened?

Mishti is still crying

Kuhu hugs her and consoles her.

Next Morning

Kartik is in bed and has gained consciousness. Naira and Prerna come there

Manish: You are?

Naira turns blank

Prerna: His students uncle . Heard that he had an accident thats why

Manish: Oh okay..heard that he is too arrogant and no student

Prerna: Its all rubbish uncle

Prerna nudges Naira to talk to avoid doubt

Naira: Actually sir is very helpful. And I…we like him a lot

They walk in and see Kartik

Kartik: Naira..and Miss Prerna

Naira: How are you feeling now sir

Kartik: Better..I heard that I drunk called you..sorry..did I ?.

Naira: No sir… I you called but did not talk anything directly to me

Kartik: Okay..once again sorry I didn’t know how

Naira: Please dont say sorry and all sir. Take rest sir

Kartik nods and the girls leave

College Next Morning 

Naira and Prerna reach the college. Naira is finding it terrible to be there without Kartik

Prerna: Naira..he is hale and healthy right ..please be normal my dear. It was after so long you…

Naira: Dont worry Prerna I wont lose myself.
They go to class and Kartik’s hour which was supposed to be taken by Anurag is left as free one as Anurag isnt ready to come.

Prerna realises that he has been avoiding their classes and her too. Naira is also lost in Kartik’s thoughts and is doodling his name in the notebook. Prerna is too lonely and that is when Anruag’s thoughts occupy her mind and trouble her. She suddenly misses him a lot.
