A large crowd is shown waiting and cheering for THE SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI(– a successful singer and musician whose career was waning because of his alcohol addiction – )to perform at a large stage show in Goa.
After nearly completing a song in his concert, he is unexpectedly interrupted by another singer Aryan , who was losing his career due to Shivaay’s performance.
In the middle of the concert ,due to short temper Shivaay gets furious and fights with him and stops his concert in the middle , and drives with his friend Vivek to a local bar nearby . There He sees a girl, a bar singer who idolises Shivaay but hasn’t seen him. she has only listened to his songs through radio. After noticing the girl who was singing he looked at a photograph of Lata Mangeshkar in the bar, and he assumed that she wanted to become a singer.
The girl (Anika) is shown singing Shivaay’s most popular and famous song Tum Hi Ho,

Impressed as well as lost by her simplicity and voice, Shivaay promises himself to transform her into a singing sensation and with this thought he follows her and asked her name from the owner of the bar. The bar owner tells him that the girl’s name is Anika and an unknown smile appeared on his face by knowing the name of the girl.
He calls out her name and runs behind her. At first she was reluctant to talk to him but when he said that he was not like others boys who molest girls after being drunk she stopped for a while and looked at him from top to bottom and asked him what he wanted. He told her that he was the famous singer Shivaay Singh Oberoi and old her to believe him and he told her that he would make her a singing sensation and asked her to never perform again in bars and come to Mumbai. He told her that his family runs a famous music company which would establish her as a singing sensation. She told him that she needed time and told him to give his number to her. He said,”Anika take your time to think and left from there after speaking to Anika
AFTER 2 WEEKS:-
Due to his assurance, Anika left the bar and took a train ticket and left for Mumbai with the hope to meet Shivaay and become a singer.She was really happy with her decision go to Mumbai and chase her dreams.
During that time Shivaay tried to talk to his dad and tried convincing him to establish Anika as a singer and sign a contract with her for the upcoming movie . His dad’s answer was a clear no and refused to speak anymore on the topic and left from there and said”Apna career tohh sambhaal nahi sake dusre ka banane chale “ in a taunting way (you couldn’t save your career and are asking me to establish someone else’s career) to Shivaay. He was really disheartened by his dad’s reaction and started to walk on the road.
He wasn’t knowing that his rival,Aryan had sent goons to locate him and harm him. The goons attacked him by hitting his head with an iron rod. When Anika called him, he was being attacked and injured by those goons,when Anika was calling him and hence was unable to receive her call.
His friend and manager named Vivek said that news of Shivaay’s accident should not be leaked to the media, and instead he publicised a false story that Shivaay had left the country to do various stage concerts. When Anika tried to contact Shivaay again, Vivek ignored the calls as Shivaay’s phone was with him.
After two months of futilely attempting to contact Shivaay, a broken Anika was forced to sing in bars again because of her family problems.
Meanwhile, Shivaay recovered from his injuries and again started the search for Anika. He learnt that Anika was working in a bar again and that Vivek had ignored her calls without informing him. Shivaay apologised to Anika and fired Vivek, and they met another music recording producer Saigal for the recording agreement. Shivaay began to train Anika, who then signed a music contract to sing in films and with time and hardwork she became a successful playback singer. Her family and Shivaay were happy about it BUT AS WE KNOW GOOD THINGS AND SUCCESS DON’T LAST FOR TOO LONG, people began to gossip and spread news that Shivaay was using her as a servant, amd for his pleasure, he felt hurt and again relapsed into alcohol addiction. Anika, who loved Shivaay more than her career, comforted him and consoled him. Despite Anika’s mother’s disapproval, Anika moved in with Shivaay and things go well until Shivaay’s addiction worsens, causing him to become aggressive and violent.
To help Shivaay fight his alcoholism, Anika attempted to rehabilitate Shivaay, sacrificing her singing career which she had achieved with so much difficulty.. After the producer Saigal reminded them about their dream of Anika becoming a successful singer, Shivaay ordered her to focus on her work and not him. During Anika’s stage show, Shivaay is standing on the backstage where he mets a journalist, who accused him of using Anika for pleasure and money. Because of his habit of short temperedness he became furious, and beated up the journalist and started drinking.The journalist called the police standing nearby and told the police that Shivaay has hit him alot and showed his bruises, with this the police arrest Shivaay and he ended up in jail, and Anika after finishing her concert came to the police station to bail him out. Shivaay overheard Anika telling Saigal that she is going to leave her career for him and is ready to give up her celebrity status because Shivaay is more important to her. Shivaay understood that he had become a burden in her life, and that leaving her is his only option to save her celebrity status.
The next day, he bids her farewell by assuring her that he will come soon and is going out for some work. Anika told him to come soon and there was a surprise waiting for him. She thought that she would finally propose the love of her life but little did she know that her life was going to be turned upside down ,as Shivaay had committed suicide by jumping into the ocean.
She had decorated the whole house with candles and rose flower petals and was eagerly waiting for Shivaay’s arrival. Her phone ringed and she guessed it right that it was Shivaay’s call, when she picked up the phone she heard an unknown person saying that are you Ms.Anika? she asked the person who he was,the person told her to come near the WORLI SEA LINK as Shivaay has committed suicide . She was broken and she rushed there with Vivek. When she saw Shivaay’s body being pulled out from the sea she cried her heart out. With deep heart she and Vivek took Shivay’s body and cremated it and came back home. Distraught by Shivaay’s death, Anika decided to leave her career but Vivek persuaded her to not leave her career. He reminded her that Rahul wanted her to become a successful singer and killed himself as he did not want to be a burden on her and remain an obstacle in the path of her success. Anika agreed, and returned to singing.
Later, while walking on the beach she met a girl who was a big fan of hers. She asked Anika if she would sign an autograph for her? to which Anika smilingly signed her name as “Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi” in her handbook as a tribute to Shivaay and her unsung desire to marry him. As rain starts falling, she watches the couple who took her autograph sharing a romantic moment under a jacket as she and Shivaay had done when he was alive .

It had been two years since he had passed away and till today she regretted only one thing that she wasn’t able to tell him how much she loved him.
This is what we always do, we fear telling our loved ones how much we love them with the fear of losing them, Anika was the one same too, but she now regretted not saying it.
Make sure you tell the one you love how much you love them before it’s too late.
