I don’t know after how many days I’m posting this, maybe after a month.
And I’m quite sure that all of u have forgotten what I wrote before (even I forgot) !!

Uff I’m talking so much…let’s start.

Days passed by and there came the most saddening day for the both, the day of engagement. Shravan had almost lost all hopes to find the mystery of the topic they were talking about that day. He has repeatedly tried consulting Sumo who didn’t pay any heed. Talking to Aditya about this topic was useless, he knew.

At Tiwari Killa, there was a lot of hustle and bustle — decorations on the go, guests arriving, performing of various religious rituals and so on. There was ecstasy in the air and enthusiasm in minds. Yet, some were there whose minds were not at peace. A sense of complete desolation and separation from there love was encircling their minds through out .

Suman was the foremost performer of the rites – she’s the bride. Concealing all her woes, she has put upon a beautiful smile on her lips. But the pain she’s feeling in her inner state in immeasurable. It was only the engagement and some ritual of ‘tilak-dan’. But Nanu wanted her granddaughter’s matrimonial rites be grand, so it was almost celebrated like a grand marriage.

Shravan came over to their house to go through the preparations as he was the given the manager’s post by Nanu. He looked all over the decorations and smiled. But the smile couldn’t adorn his face for long. His eyes caught hold of Sumo sitting among other girls in her room. He sighed and went towards her room.
He didn’t enter but stood at doorway peeping at her. She was talking with some girls, who maybe are relatives, and smiling. Seeing the curve on her lips made him smile again. He kept standing and gazing at her until Preeti shook him from behind.

“Why r u standing outside Shravan ?”

He was jerked up and was out of his trance at once, but was unable to speak due to suddenness. Everyone inside the room looked at his direction. Sumo’s smile passed on seeing him and the hidden pain portrayed on her eyes.
“No…I mean…”, he mumbled, ”I just wanted to say bye as I was going home. But she was talking so I didn’t enter.”
“U r going ? But u came just now. You sit and chat with Suman di.”
“No Preeti…”
“I don’t want to hear anything, plz go and talk.”
All the other girls came out as Shravan and entered. He went and sat beside her on her bed, staring at her face. She looked a him in such a manner as if she wanted to outburst all her tales pain and struggle to him.

Controlling her tears, she spoke.

“If u don’t want to stay, u can go.”
“If u don’t want me to stay, I’ll surely go.”

They stared at each other longingly without a word. As if they r conveying their words through their gaze.

“Sumo, I know that even if I instigate u to confess the truth u won’t. But I’m sure that it’s something that may affect ur life very badly. I know I’m no one to interfere in ur personal matters, but still as a friend I won’t to give u an advice. A BITTER TRUTH IS BETTER THAN A SWEET LIE. Because this lie can ruin ur whole life. Think over it. Sumo u r a fighter, my Sumo Wrestler. I have never seen u run away from problems, so why r u running away now and thinking that MARRIAGE, the greatest and toughest decision of one’s life, to be the easiest solution to ur PROBLEM !”

“Think over it Sumo. Fight back. I’m always with u. If u don’t want me to solve ur problem then plz solve it yourselves. There’s still some time left for ur problem to be sorted out.”

She looked at him with guilt-ridden face and teary-eyes. A spark of hope ignited in her mind.

Maybe this chapter is short…and I know I couldn’t match ur expectations. Hopefully next time I’ll try. Plz read and leave ur precious reviews !! Silent readers do break ur silece sometimes…I also wanna go through all ur views. And suggestions r happily accepted.

Another thing…I’ve decided to change my name on TU (inspired by Jo di)….so if u suddenly found Sonai changed to Diya don’t get confused.But I may not change also.Let’s see.
