Recap: Laksh misinterpreting Ragini as Swara
Scene 1
In Gadodia House:
Shekar: Swara come have your dinner..
Swara: Dad I have so much of work..you carry on..
Janki: Beta shall I feed you?
Swara: Mom don’t stress yourself..Just give me a glass of milk..It would be enough for today..
Janki: Noways..Open your mouth!!
Swara opens her mouth and Janki feeds her lovingly
Ragini: Mom feed me also I have also have a assignment to submit..
Janki: Have it yourself Ragini..don’t try to compete with swara now..
Ragini makes a sad face and is really upset
After dinner Swara and Ragini move to their room where Ragini is working on her assignment and swara is on her file..After some time Swara realizes that she forgot her laptop charger in hall..
Scene 2:
She moves towards the hall only to see Janki and Shekar arguing..
Shekar: You are not doing it right Janki…It is quite partiality towards Ragini?
Listening to this Swara hides behind the curtain and tries listening to their conversation..
Janki: It isn’t partiality Shekar ..Ragini was watching TV and sat with the assignment in the last moment..She wasted time so she had to face the consequences while Swara is working since morning..Do you know she even skipped her lunch!!
Shekar: In the process of treating your step daughter as your daughter you have forgotten the fact that you gave birth to Ragini and Swara is born to Sharmista..
Swara is shell shocked by listening to it..Her eyes were filled with tears and she felt like someone has just pushed her from a cliff..
Janki: Don’t ever say she is my step daughter..I haven’t given birth to her but for me Swara and Ragini are like my two eyes..I can never love one eye more than the other..
Shekar: I loved Sharmista in my college days and Swara was a result of our love..I married you because of family pressure..When I knew about Swara even I was not in a position to accept her thinking about the society but you came forward and gave her motherly love. Even today I don’t understand why you took that step?
Janki: Sharmista raised Swara inspite of the taunts by society..She never came back to snatch you from me..She could have filed a case against you for cheating her but she didn’t..You know why? because she didn’t want me to face humiliation and Ragini to be a fatherless kid.. Even during her last breath she said Swara that her mother’s name is Janki and her father is Shekar.
She wipes her tears and continues
Janki: All I can give to that great human is raising her child with good morals and lots of love..and I am just doing what I felt is right!!
Shekar: In my view even you are a great human..
Janki: (she smiles)I always feel Swara is a part of me..
Please don’t bring this topic ever again..My daughters are SwaRagini and I don’t want their bond to break because of this stupid truth..
Shekar: You always hold a special place in my life..thank you for everything till now(hugs her)
Scene 3:
Swara runs to her room crying..she breaks down but soon composes herself and says I don’t remember who gave birth to me..but for me Janki maa is everything..
She moves towards Ragini and whispers to herself “I can’t repay Janki Maa’s love but by ensuring your safety and happiness I can show my gratitude..I promise to takecare of you lifelong” and she kisses Ragini’s forehead..
She goes to the study table and focuses on finishing the work with much more determination.
Scene4:
Next day morning
Swara picks all her belongings , rushes to office biding everyone bye and eating rolled parata..
In office:
Swara meets manager and handovers the file..
After Swara leaves the room Laksh enters the cabin without being noticed by Swara..
He takes the file from Manager and analyzes it..
Laksh: I must say she has done a great job..
Manager: I already told you she is hardworking and see she proved it..
Laksh thinks for a while and says
Just to test her capability I gave her this file but it has so many confidential matters which should not be disclosed..I will see if she is trustworthy or not..Introduce me as one of the employee to the staff so that I can watch out for Swara’s activities..
Laksh POV:
She fills the first criteria that my wife should be hardworking and should be my helping hand..but she is unpunctual to office which I hate the most…Now the score is 1-1
Interesting Laksh..Let’s see if she can become Swara Laksh Maheswari or will remain as Swara Gadodia my childhood friend.. I will become close to her as her colleague, will know her and then decide when to disclose my truth(he smiles unknowingly)
