RECAP: ANIKA GOT TO KNOW THAT SHIVAY IS BLIND….
Anika eagerly waiting for the evening to meet shivay. She goes to the beach earlier than yesterday. She is constantly looking at her watch, walking here and there. Finally Shivay comes there with his bodyguard.
Shivay: Khanna, you take the car and go now, I will call you later and you pick me up…
Yes sir, nodded khanna and goes from there..
Shivay: hi, miss anika…
Anika: hi shivay, what happened to you?…mmm… sorry…how are you?…. anika stumbles…
S: what is happening with you…?. Why your voice is stumbling… yesterday you were alright.
Anika: me, no I am ok. Can I ask you something…?
S: yes….go ahead.
A: when in our college.. You are the heart throb,( abhi bhi hai thinks her mind),very much attitude person, with ur friends always around you, hot girlfriend, what’s her name, ya…tia….still girls were very fond of you, especially your kanji eyes….
S: kanji eyes means…..?
A: I mean your hazel eyes . If you don’t mind, may i ask you, wht happened to your eyes….?
S: six months back, I met with an accident… on that accident I lost my eyesight…. not only my eyes, my so called friends, so called girlfriend, everything gone away from me…
A: what…..
S: yes… tia broke up with me, the guys I believed as my friends didn’t meet me, after the accident maybe they think that I won’t helpful for them, in fact, now I need help for every single thing.
(He sighs… with a smile…)
A: sorry to hear this… unbelievable… I mean, friends are meant to be with us always… and girlfriend to be life partner… how could they do this…
S: its ok Miss. anika…After all these various incidents… I learnt some valuable lessons, money is not about everything. My so called NKK concept is nothing to do with a person’s kindness.
A: thats so true Mr shivaay. Can I ask you something?. Why don’t you get done your surgery.. After all you are The great Shivay Singh Oberoi. You can do this anywhere in the world.
S:ha…ha… of course… but I have some medical condition that I can’t get operated atleast for a year. So now I am waiting for that.
Now you almost know my life history. May I know yours. Miss Anika, if you don’t mind?
A: there is nothing to say. I’m an orphan grew up in the orphanage. I was quite good in my academics, because of the good marks, I got a seat in the college you studied. Now I’m working in a event management company. Thats all.
There is a silence for sometime. After a while, “lets be friends” randomly asked shivay to avoid the silence
. A: sorry????
S: I said lets be friends. mr.shivay Miss anika sounded too formal he grinned.
A: ok, friends…she smiled too.
Meanwhile khanna comes and says ” sir, your mobile is constantly ringing. I think may be it’s a important call.
Shivay sees the mobile and ihave to go back now. Let’s meet tomorrow. I am very much relieved now. Bye miss. An…. sorry, bye anika…
Nowadays Shivay and anika meet almost everyday.. and developing feelings for each other..but still hesitate tthe feelings…
9 months fled as 9 days for them. Today Shivay’s birthday, Anika don’t know that this day will change her life forever..
” Happy birthday shivay”, wishes Anika
Shivay:”how do you know that today is my birthday?”
Anika:” just, I know that…After all how I am not supposed to wish my friend?”
Shivay:” thanks, and where is my birthday gift?…”
“Sorry,shivaay. I don’t get you any gift. What can i give to shivay Singh oberoi” Anika’s voice saddened.
” Ha.. haa… I am just kidding, anika. By the way, you can give me a gift that I want, will you?….”
“Yaa, sure… tell me what you want?”
“Your time… Anika, I want to spend time with you…”
“Of course Shivay…. Obviously we will meet every day, if you are not busy….”
“No, I mean more time…. minimum 100 years”
“Sorry?????” What????? Anika looks at him puzzled.
Shivay slowly put his hand on hers and smiled. “Don’t you get my point or…??”
Anika is now realising what shivay want say. “Yaa… I mean no.. idont know…”
Firmly holding Anika’s hand Shivay said ” I know Anika , you are shocked. May be you didn’t expect it. But the fact is what you were heard is absolutely true… My life’s biggest truth… After all the incidents happened in my life, I never thought about a girl will come into my life that I can believe her more than myself. I trust you Anika. That means I LOVE YOU ANIKA. I want to marry you and grow old with you. I don’t know what you feel about me. But I want to confess my feelings to you. I will not asking you to love me back. Even your answer is no, that will make no difference on our friendship. I will understand…”
“I can’t say anything right now… I need some time. I need to go back to hostel, bye”, Anika said in one breath and went away from there. She was almost ran away from there. “I will wait for your answer, Anika…” Shivay said loudly.
Anika is in her room. She is crying with happiness. Even though she also developed feelings for Shivay , she never thought Shivay will love her. That Shivay who believe’s in NKK will love an orphan like her. She slept happily, thinking Shivay’s confession.
NEXT DAY EVENING…
Shivay is waiting for Anika. SHIVAY think’s now a second is like an hour, while waiting for her. After some time he feels a warm pleasant fragrance near him. “Anika, finally you came.” Anika is surprised. “How do you know, it’s me???”
“Its obvious Anika, I can sense you. After all isee things by my sense. But still, you are special . Whenever you comes, I feel a beautiful fragrance around me, “‘ . Any way don’t try to distract me, I still waiting for your answer.”
Anika smiled and said ” shall we go for a walk Shivay,?”.
Shivay: “What” ….
Anika: ” what what… let’s go for a walk”
Shivay:” ok . But you didn’t give me a answer”
Anika: ” arre, come on Shivay”. They walk for sometime with out uttering a word. Apart from the sound of the waves they even heard their heart beats. “I will walk with you whole my life like this, Shivay”. While saying this Anika slowly holds Shivay’s hand. Tears escaped from Shivay’s blue orbs, Shivay can’t believe him self. He entwined his hand with hers tightly. Even they held their hands before many times, now their state of mind is different altogether. They feel that their hearts are holding each others.
“Shivay, I don’t know when and how this was happened. I started loving you and I am afraid to tell you about my feelings bcuz I think that you will not love an orphan like me. After your confession, I was totally shocked. Evenlast night I was checked myself, pinched myself to make me realiz ed that it was truly happened. I wasn’t dreaming. Shivay, I LOVE YOU TOO. I WANT TO BE WITH YOU UNTIL MY LAST BREATH. Shivay put his hand on Anika’s lips and say “sshh, enough Anika”
“But Shivay, I want to tell something more” . “Pls Anika, I heard,what I want to hear from you. I’m happy. I want to feel and capture this moment. pls … ”
They sat on a bench. Anika keeps her head on Shivay’s shoulder and his head on hers. Shivay playing with Anika’s hand. They enjoying their own world.
” Shivay, I have to say something . It’s important for us… May I?”
“Hmm… bolo Anika…
I want to clear one thing Shivay. We love each other. Obviously next step will be the marriage,right???? Will your family accept me… bcuz I have no one.. even i dont have a surname . Will they accept this orphan in your faamily the great oberoi family. Without your family’s consent I can’t take this relationship further. I know what a family meant for you. I don’t want you to hurt your family’s feelings bcuz of me. And one more thing. Your surgery is in three months right??. Keep this in your mind Shivay, if your vision will be back or not, it will make no difference to me. I will be your vision all your life like this . She entwined their hands again.
Shivay was speechless, for sometime. Anika shakes his shoulder “where are you lost at, Shivay?
” I lost at you, Anika. What’s next?”
“What’s next means??? Say it clearly Shivay. I don’t understand.
No I mean, I said I love you only yesterday. You said your love just an hour back. So technically we are lovers from an hour only. But you go far Far away from now . I’m surprised and worried at the same time. One you says you will be my vision and on another side you says about leaving me, if my family won’t accept you… you re too good Anika. You are concerned for my family from now itself. Haan… I am very much happy that I am loving a matured and understanding girl like you. My family will accept you as their bahu… no as their daughter. This is my first promise to you. As far as you will be my vision, I don’t need a surgery at all. Because I already saw the good and bad things of this world. But I want my vision back to see you Anika, to see my love, my life….
Anika had tears in her eyes now. ” if I m notlook like in your expectations , then will you leave me??”
“Stop it Anika, don’t even think like that in your dreams. Do you think that my love for you will this fragile, that can break for small silly things. For me you are important, I love your inner beauty, your kindness, your selflessness, your love for me not how you look. If you can love me as me as a blind man why can’t me, how can you …say… like… ”
Before he completes Anika hugged shivay tightly and cried ,” I m sorry Shivay. Ilove you”. ShivayI reciprocates and cries overwhelmingly…
Everything was perfect for them at that moment. The sound of the waves, the cool breeze, the dusk , the birds were celebrating their love…. . Let us leave them to their own world.
