Chapter 56: “The Mysterious Girl”

The episode starts with Vansh standing outside emergency ward of a hospital. He looks inside the ward. The girl was being treated. He was utterly confused and had no clue about her. He thought to himself,

“This girl is a mystery. It was not a mere coincidence to first get caught in the stadium and then coming in front of my car. She was pleading me to save her. Throughout the way, she was pleading in her subconscious state. And her wounds!… these are not because of getting hit by car. She merely get touched by the car. Her wounds are about something else.”

He double taps his mobile to see the time. The wallpaper showed his and Riddhima’s photo. He thinks,

“Should I inform Riddhima? No! She will get worried and start investigating about her. She will not care for her health and the doctor has strictly asked me to take care of her. After a long time, she had started living her life. I cannot let her stress herself once again. I will solve this matter by myself. This wedding is her the most special moment. I cannot spoil it!”

He was in his thoughts when the doctor came out. Vansh became attentive.
V: How is she?
Dr: She is out of danger now but we cannot say anything about her condition at this moment. Her body is really weak after all what she had gone through.
V: What are you talking about??
Dr: Mr. RaiSinghania! After examining her bruises carefully, I am sure that she was being molested or someone was trying to rape her but she ran away and saved herself. Her body had the marks of struggle. And the knife stab is also pointing towards it. Moreover, her body is really weak because she had gone through a surgery some days back.
V: What kind of Surgery?
Dr: Her left side kidney has been removed. But the strange thing is we didn’t find any kind of disease or tumour in her body for which her kidney has been removed. We have given some sedatives to her so that she can sleep peacefully as she really looks weary. Her body vitals are also not stable as if she had not eaten properly for days.
V(shocked): When will she get conscious?
Dr: It depends on her body. As soon as her body will respond to our treatment, she will start getting better and will get conscious eventually.
V: I want her to be given the best treatment. And ensure full security in your hospital. I want her to be safe and sound. Inform me when she get stable and conscious.
Dr: Yeah sure! We will give our best!
V: What about her identity? Did you find anything with her by which she can be identified?
The doctor forwarded something towards him.
Dr: We didn’t found anything from her pockets except this wallet. But it doesn’t belong to her. It has some cards belonging to a male. Maybe this person is the one who tried to molest her or maybe he is related to her. This wallet can help you.
V(taking the wallet): Thanks!

Saying so, he took a glance of the girl being attached to many machinery and then, he went out if the hospital. After few moments, he sat down in his car and removed the wallet from his pocket. He picked one of the business cards glaring at the ID picture and called Angre.

V: Hello! I am sending you a picture of a business card. Get me all the information about this person and when you find him, let me know. (Stern) I want to meet him.

Then, He again dials Angre’s number,
V: Also Check all the missing reports that had been registered till now since the past one month and check if there is any report about a missing girl of age between 15-20. Do it ASAP!

He ends his call and thinks deeply,

“Whoever this girl is, I have to find out. I have to find out about those people she was talking about. Why was she pleading to save them. Who are they? And who is she? Her backstory is making me suspicious! Why did she asked my help? Did she know me? But how!!!!”

So many questions were running in his mind. In the emantime, he received Riddhima’s call but before he could pick, the phone stopped ringing. Brushing off his thoughts, he started driving towards home.

The scene shifts to VR Mansion where Ishani and Aryan enter inside and finding no one around, instantly left towards their respective rooms. Aryan before going to his room, insured that Ishani has safely reached to her room and no one found her in this state otherwise, it would have created a huge problem.
Then, he went to his room and closing the door, he loosened the grip of his tie and removed it. He also threw his coat on the bed in frustration.
He looked extremely disturbed and angry. He pour down water in the glass but his hands were shaking so the water fell on the floor. He put back the glass angrily. He stood beside his room window for some minutes closing his eyes. All of a sudden, he started punching the wall. He kept on punching until his hand started bleeding. He looked at his bleeding hand and gave a sarcastic chuckle. He says with disgust in his voice,

“I deserve this punishment. I am the worst. I wish I could be able to save you that day the way I saved Ishani today. Today, by saving Ishani, I felt like I saved you. I saw you in Ishani today. But the reality is so hard to digest even after all these years. You are not with me anymore. Each and every passing moment, I miss you….I miss you more and more! You know na how much I love you? You had promised to be by my side always and even I promised you too. I couldn’t fulfill my promise! And God has punished me in the worst way. He snatched you from me and I will never be able to meet you again! I hate myself! I hate that day! Why didn’t you listen to me? Why did you have to follow your heart always? If you had listened to me that day, you would have been with me. We would have a totally different life together. But you….You left me! You left me alone. All of you left me alone. What was my fault?”

He was saying all this to himself and tears were falling down from his eyes. He was lost in his thoughts when he heard a knock on the door. He wiped his tears immediately and blinking his eyes multiple times, he again presented a smily and mischievous look on his face and hid his bleeding hand at his back.

“Come in!”

The door opened and He found Ishani standing there.

“Come in Ishani! What happened?”

Ishani: Actually, I got this first aid kit for you. I knew you got bruises while fighting with the goons. And…

She stopped looking at the blood drops on the floor. She panicked.
I: Aryan!! You are bleeding! Let me look!

She stepped forward but Aryan stopped him trying to act all fine!
A: Oh Miss Attitude! Why are you worrying so much? And that too for me? Aryan Singh?
I: You are injured! That’s why, I am asking!
A(smiles): Let me check! Have you got hit on your head huh? What a change of behaviour! Soft corner for me?
I: Stop pulling my leg Aryan! You saved me today and I am really thankful for that! But that doesn’t mean that Ishani RaiSinghania will develop a soft corner for a stupid idiot like you! Nah! Never!
A: Oh really! You are calling me stupid! And what about you? Who leaves his phone and purse back in the car?
I: Have you watched your tune? You literally shocked me to the core!
A(laughs): Oh really! My tune! Now You agree that you are scared of me?
I(pissed): Oh hello! Don’t fly so high! Come to the ground idiot! Scared of you my foot!
Aryan was enjoying making her annoyed. He was smiling.

I: You know what! I am not scared of you. I can see right in your eyes without blinking even. Let me show you th……..
To prove that she is not scared of him, she stepped forward annoyingly but her foot slipped because of the water on the floor and she stumbled. Aryan tried to hold her to prevent from falling but in this struggle, both of them fell on the bed with Aryan at the top of Ishani holding her by her waist. They had an eyelook. Aryan’s arms were wrapped around Ishani’s waist and Ishani’s hands were on Aryan chest. It was a complete silence of one minute and they both were engrossed in each other. For the first time, they had this kind of moment and for the first time, they had noticed each other’s features. Everytime they both had been busy pulling each other’s leg but this time they were just lost in each other. Aryan lost in Ishani’s beauty and Ishani lost in Aryan’s handsome manly figure. But then, their moment was broken by a beep of the phone. Aryan realizing it, immediately got up from her and feeling extremely awkward, went towards the window facing his back at Ishani. Ishani also got up awkwardly and not even giving a glance to him, she said,
I: I am leaving this First aid kit here! Bye!

She stood up and went off immediately.
Aryan turned his neck to check if she is gone. He thought,

“Today I felt so different in her company. I felt peace talking to her. All the anger I had, faded away when she entered my room. And then, when we fell……..Why?”

Ishani in her room had the same thoughts too,
“He saved me today. When he wrapped his coat around me and fought the goons for me, I felt so special. No one except Vansh Bhai and Angre Bhai had ever protected me this way. And whatever happened in his room, It was something new. Why I felt that way?”

And then, both of them lay down on their bed to sleep.

The next evening, there was hustle and bustle throughout the mansion. It was the engagement day and everyone was getting ready for the engagement ceremony that is meant to be held in the evening. Vansh was in his room with Angre. He had told him about the girl. He said,
V: Angre! I don’t feel good by hiding this all from Riddhima but Have you seen how happy she is. She had started living her life after years. I cannot spoil her happiness.
A: I understand it completely. Don’t worry. Once this matter gets resolved, you can tell it to her. She will surely understand. (Serious) But what about the girl? Has she gained consciousness?
V: Not yet! But soon she will! Doctor said that she is very much stable now. Have you got any information about her?
A: Yeah! I got to know so much in the morning.
V: Why didn’t you tell me then?
A: I thought we can discuss it all after ceremony.
V: Its fine Angre. We shouldn’t delay. What happened?
A: You asked me to find about a report of a missing girl between 15-20 age?
V: Is there any?
A: Hundreds of them!
V(Shocked): What!!!
A: Yeah! Thats a shocking thing. There are like hundreds of reports that have been registered since the past one month. But none of those girls have been found yet. When I searched more, I got to know that most of these girls were kidnapped by a group of goons.
V: Do you think…….
A(cutting him): Yeah I think the same. I think its Girls Abduction!
V: Maybe on a large scale. Something like Girls Trafficking. (Thinking deeply) And If We join the dots then it means that the girl I found, also escaped away from them. But how did she know me?
A: You also aksed me to find out about the person whose wallet was with the girl.
V: Yeah you found him?
A: Yeah I found him And interrogated him. He is not related to this all. That girl had snatched his wallet.
V: How can you be so sure about him speaking the truth?
A: He said that she snatched his wallet at the railway station. So, I went to the station to check CCTV footage and found out that He was speaking the truth. That girl got down from the train in an extreme miserable condition and then she snatched his wallet and ran away from there. I also found out about the place from where that train was coming.
V: Where?
A: Dehradun!
V: But there are many stations in between too. Maybe she had got in from somewhere else.
A: Yeah! I knew it. So I asked my informers in different cities to check the CCTV of stations in the route. And one of them found that girl getting in at Dehradun station. He sent me the video too. It seems like someone was chasing her and she got in the moving train to save herself. But who and why? Don’t know.
V: Only the girl can give answer to all the questions. Let’s wait for her.
A(smiles): Let’s go down now. The girls will be waiting. If we got late then maybe you know…..mood swings!
V(smiles): I know well!

After that they both go down.

The VR mansion was decorated beautifully with teapink and white roses and fairy lights. It looked no less than a fairytale engagement ceremony. The boys were all ready in their Navy blue tuxedo and pants and the girls were in their beautiful tea pink coloured prom dresses looking extremely gorgeous. Their looks were below,

They all were chitchatting together and all the couples were admiring each other’s beauty and grace.
Vansh was standing with Riddhima who was greeting the guests. He whispered in her ears,
V(husky voice): Mrs. Vansh RaiSinghania to be! You look gorgeous!
R(confidently): Tell something new! I always look gorgeous!
V(jaws dropped): You were supposed to give me a compliment in return!
R: Did you ask for it?
V: No but…
R(teasing him): Then, why would I? You complimented me and I know that I look gorgeous. Where does it suppose to mean that I should compliment you too?
Vansh was surprised by her tantrums. He had no answer to her questions. He said being a little pissed.
V: Fine! I am going!
R: Oh really! Till yesterday, when you had to propose me, you were roaming around me all day and now when we are getting engaged, you are showing attitude?
V: Excuse me! I am showing attitude? No! You are the one showing attitude! Can’t you give a compliment to your husband!
R: Not yet!
V: What not yet?
R: You are not my husband yet?
V: You got any second choice?
R: Nope! (Mischievous) But I can think about that!
Vansh glares her narrowing his eyes. Riddhima starts laughing. Vansh also smiles. Riddhima holds his hands in hers,
R: You are not my choice, first, second, third or anyone. (Smiles proudly) You are my destiny! My love and my Pride! You are mine! To whom will I show attitude except the one upon whom I have got all the rights?
Vansh smiles prouldy because this was the first time she had said something like this after years. He was finding this Riddhima in her and finally he got her. Everytime, he was the one to show his love to her but this time, she took teh initiative which made him happies to the core.

Riddhiam smiles back to him and says in his ears,
R(husky): And I Don’t need to give any compliment to the person whom I adore even in his anger! He looks absolutely stunning and handsome even in his nightsuits which makes me lose my mind!

Vansh smiles and looks in her eys. She looks back and smiles. Then she says,
R: I got something for you!
V: Really? What?
Riddhima shows him a box which contained to silver metal rings with “RV” carved on one and “VR” carved on the second. She said,
R: Let’s give a new meaning to this RV!
V: Riddhima’s Vansh! (RV)
R: Vansh’s Riddhima! (VR)

They both smiled.
The party was going on smoothely and there were many dance performances.

Vansh and Riddhima Danced on “Sajde Kiye Hain Lakhon”.
Sejal and Angre danced on “Mere Sohneya Sonheya Ve”
Sia and Kabir danced on “Tum Mile”
Ishani and Ajay performed on “Dilbaro”
Aryan and Dadi danced on “Bachna Ae Haseeno”
The boys danced on “Ghungroo”
The girls danced on “Makhna”

They all were enjoying together dancing and singing when the door of VR Mansion opened with a sudden jerk. Mrs. D’Souza is seen stepping inside the mansion in her extreme miserable condition. She was panicking and looked scared. She shouted at the top of her voice seeking everyone’s attention!

“Riddhhhhhiiiimmmmmaaaa!!!!!!”

(Hey everyone, Wanted to know something. Are you all ok with the length of the chapters or should I shorten it! Because it becomes boring to read sometimes and I also know that the story at this point is going boring so maybe you all are losing interest as I dont post on regular basis also. Moreover, do you want me to extend the wedding events? I didn’t because already the story is going on in a slow modebut if you want me to focus more on their wedding rituals then I will do that.)
