Chapter 44: “The Holi Celebrations-2”

Meanwhile, Riddhima came towards the hall and was going hurriedly upstairs to change when Aditya approached her.
Adi: Riddhima! Where are you going?
R: Aditya! I need to change right now! I will be right back. You join everyone outside.
Adi:(himself): This is the right moment. No one is here and Riddhima is in hurry. She will not doubt me.
Adi: You have become so much careless these days. Look! You are sweating and still in hurry. Just sit down for a minute. Wait! I will bring juice for you.
R: That’s not needed Aditya! I am fine.
But Aditya didn’t listen and went towards the kitchen. He filled a glass of juice and added some drugs in it. Then, he came out and gave it to her. He insisted her on drinking so she drank the juice and emptied the glass.
R: Now, What’s the matter? Tell me?
Adi: Riddhima! I have a really important work with you. Please! Listen to me first.
R: What is it?
A: I need to get some documents signed by you.
R: What kind of documents?
A: Some business deal. I will tell you just listen to me once.
R: Look! I am going up in my room. You come there with the papers.
Saying so, she went up.
After sometime, Aditya brought the papers to her. Riddhima was having headache and feeling dizzy.
R: So, What kind of business deal is it?
A: Actually, I had invested a big amount in an international company. It worths 100 crores. But they wanted surety and some witness from my side. And I couldn’t think of any better person than you to be my guaranteer. You are an intelligence chief! Your reference would be the best!
R(holding her head): But I had never seen any deal to be done on surety kind of thing. And 100 crores! Don’t you think its too much? Isn’t it risky?
Adi: Riddhima! I brought these for the same reason. You can check these papers to be assured that this company is valid and safe.
R: But Why do you want them to be signed right now? Its holi today! Who does deal on a holiday too? My head is spinning. Can I sign them later?
A: Riddhima! Its an international company. They can’t wait for Holi na. Its just a matter of two minutes. If you are not ok, then I can read these papers for you. But its completely safe.
R: Its not like that Aditya! I just want to make sure nothing goes wrong with you. I need to read these paper! I hope its completely ok with you.
A(hesitating): Yeah sure! Go ahead!
Riddhima starts reading the papers and reads upto 4-5 pages but as her head was spinning very much and she was having blurry visions, she gave up on reading.
R: I think its completely safe. Give me a pen! (Blinking her eyes to clear her vision) Tell me where I have to sign.
A(relieved): Yeah! Sign here!
He made her sign at the bottom left corner on every page and after that closed the file immediately and thanking her, he leaves from there.
R: Why Am I feeling dizzy? And this headache! I think the injury on my head is troubling me again.
Riddhima drinks water and after 5 minutes, she feels completely normal. She gets up and goes to washroom to change.

Aditya comes outside in the hall and looks at the property papers that she had signed and smirks evilly. He remembers how he had placed fake business deal papers above the property papers and drugged her so that she felt dizzy and couldn’t read the papers. He thinks,

Adi(himself): You are a fool Riddhima! You don’t even know what you have done. Now, I am one step away from my success and after that you will no longer be the owner of 100 crores. I have to claim this property in the court but before that, I have to do something of that Rehaan! ThankGod! I didn’t gave any kind of intense drug to her. It was a simple headache and dizziness inducing drugs. Its effect will be gone in 10 minutes and no one will be able to figure out that she was drugged. And coming to doubt me, she had herself read the papers, she will not doubt me at all.

He looks at that property file and smirks.
Adi: You did a big mistake! Now get ready to pay for it too! I feel pity for you!
Saying so, he leaves from there unaware that a pair of eyes was watching him. It was Vansh.
V(himself): What was he talking about? What were those document papers? He was coming from Riddhima’s room. Is he betraying Riddhima? I have to find out! I have to inform about it to Riddhima too!

Meanwhile, Someone is seen entering in VR Mansion. He had covered his face with red colour. He is revealed to be Rehaan.
Reh(himself): I am not a fool or a pawn of anyone. This Aditya cannot fool me around or double cross me. My all game depends on one thing only.
He looks at the message he received some time ago.
Reh(himself): This text! If the thing written in this is true, then all my hardwork will go to waste. I can’t let my plan spoil. I have to take this risk. Only Riddhima can confirm this whether its true or fake. (Gritting his teeth) I have to meet her.

Meanwhile, Aditya is seen sweating profusely because of stress. He was standing at a corner looking at a message, he received in his phone,

“Happy Holi Bro! Be Aware!
Your luck is not in your favour these days.
Regards,
RV”

Aditya(himself): How can this be possible? RV was……Rajveer Bhai! Rajveer bhai used to write “RV” as his signature and nickname. Does it means he is…he is alive? He is the one who’s threatening me? I thought it was Rehaan. It means Rajveer Bhai knows everything about me. No No! This can’t happen. My plan can’t spoil. I have to claim this property before he returns.

It is then shown that The message Rehaan was talking about was the same as Aditya. Vansh also received the same message. He thought,
V(himself): Who can this RV be?
He goes to Aditya and whispers,
V: Aditya! Do you know who this RV is?
Aditya’s eyes widened.
A: What?
Vansh showed him the text. It was the same.
V: Who is this RV?.
A(himself): If I didn’t tell him then he will ask Riddhima and Riddhima will doubt me for not telling him. I will get trapped.
A: If….If I am not wrong, RV was nickname of Rajveer.
V: Have you gone nuts? Rajveer is dead! How can he text us?
A: Who else can it be then?
V: How many people know that RV means Rajveer?
A: So many people knew about it. Infact, many people use to call him RV instead of Rajveer.
V: So, Maybe someone from his family is sending these messages.
A: I don’t know!
V(serious): Is it you?
A: What you mean?
V: I mean is it you who is threatning all of us. Because as far as I know, only you are left in Rajveer’s family and to be honest,…I don’t trust you.
A: Come on Vansh! I am helping Riddhima for everything and you are doubting me?
V: Vansh RaiSinghania never trusts anyone.
A: Its your choice! But I am not the one behind this.
V: If not you, Who else can it be? (Thinking something) Wait a minute! Is it Rehaan? His full name is Rehaan Vikram Malhotra. Maybe he is using those initials to confuse us.
A(himself): He is right! Why didn’t I think about this? I am definitely sure now. Its Rehaan! (Furious) I will not leave you now.
A: You are right Vansh! Rehaan is the only one behind all this. We have to do something before he attacks us again.
V: We will discuss it later. First, I have to talk to Riddhima about this.

Vanshe goes inside the mansion and sees Riddhima coming downstairs wearing pure eastern white sleeveless kurti and flapper. She was dressed up like this after years. He was stunned.
Ishq mein marjawan plays.
She was wearing jhumkas and bangles. She was carrying a red dopatta around her neck. She steps on the last step and comes close to Vansh.
Vansh was smiling.
V: Drop dead Gorgeous!
Riddhima smiles a little. Vansh comes close to her and was about to kiss her when she pushes him back politely and says,
R: If I have forgiven you, then it doesn’t mean that you can do whatever you want to. Stay away!
Vansh smiles and wraps his arms around her waist pulling her more close,
V: If I say that I can’t stay away???
R: Then, I will call my Vansh!
V: Am I not your Vansh?
R: My Vansh used to have a beard and he was a thorough gentleman!
V(smirks): The beard will grow in some days but I am still a thorough gentleman!
R: Not at all. You are a flirt who leaves no chance of coming close to me.
V: Is that so?
Riddhima nods playfully. Vansh’s grip on her waist tightens and he was again trying to kiss her but she pushed him back.
R: What are you doing Vansh! Someone will see us!
V: Since when an intelligence officer has started to care about someone else?
R: Since the time, she has fallen in love with a flirt man!
V: Oh really?
R: Really!
They were talking totally unaware of their surroundings though there was no one in the hall except one pair of eyes who was watching them continuously. It was Aditya.
A(himself): Come on Vansh! Stop all this and ask her about what you are here for. Even I want to confirm it. If she receives the same message then its Rehaan and if not then its Rajveer. Because Rajveer will never sent those threatning messages to Riddhima.

At the same time, Riddhima receives the same message. She opens to read it and becomes completely shocked. Her phone drops from her hand.
V: Careful Riddhima!
R: Va…Vansh! Look!
V: You got a text? RV?
R: How do you know?
V: I got the same text. Even Aditya received the same.
R: RV was Rajveer’s initials. It means he is alive?
V: It can be Rehaan too. Rehaan Vikram! RV!
R: But if Rajveer is alive then?
V: Riddhima! You yourself witnessed his death. How can he be alive?
R(panicking): I don’t know. But if….
V: Relax Riddhima! It can be Rehaan’s plan too. And….(doubtful voice) And if you ask me, then I have a doubt on Aditya too.
R: What are you saying Vansh?
V: Riddhima! I am not getting good vibes from Aditya from the past some days. His behaviour is strange!
