Sorry guys! I was busy in my assignments as @Mennahussein55 informed you all. That’s why, I didn’t post. Here we go with today’s update.
Chapter 16: “The Flopped Spying and the Virtual Fighting!!”
The episode starts with Riddhima confused at Vansh’s behaviour.
R:(To herself): Why is he behaving so awkward? The vansh I knew would have become so much angry at the Mention of my name even and Here, he is inviting me to VR MANSION. What is this sudden change of behaviour? He was so adamant on taking me home. Whats going on in his mind? (Something strikes her mind) Had he listened to my and Aryan’s conversation? (Shocked) No! This will ruin everything. I have to be careful while making any move.
After that, Riddhima came outside hospital with Vansh. Vansh went near his car with Riddhima following him behind. He opened the front passenger seat door for Riddhima. But Riddhima in her own thoughts passed him and went towards her own car.
V:(Irritated): Riddhima!
R: Yeah?
V( trying to speak politely): Sit! I opened this door for you. Not for the Angels on your shoulders!
R: Then Close it! Because neither I nor my Angels are going to sit in your car.
V: What is this new stupidity now? Will you go to VR mansion on bicycle or have you got wings? (Sarcastically)
R:(sarcastically) I-have-got-a-car-Mr. RaiSinghania! (She spoke with small spaces in a sarcastic tone) If you try to run your brain for some useful purpose rather than taunting my ego all the time, you will get to know it.
V:(murmurs): Right now! Decoding your mystery is my only purpose.
R: What?
V: Nothing Riddhima. Your ears keep vibrating all the times.
R: My ears can detect even the smallest taunts you see!! And at this moment, they are vibrating very rapidly. As if they heard something what they shouldn’t.
R(to herself): I listened what you were saying.
She smirks and goes towards her car. Vansh looked at her giving confused looks.
V(to himself):Welcome to VR MANSION…..AGAIN!!!
Saying so, Vansh smirks too and sits in his car. Both of them headed towards VR MANSION where dadi and Sia were eagerly waiting for her. Both of them arrived in their separate car. Riddhima got down and looked at the entrance of the Mansion. All of a sudden, she lost all her feelings once again. The words of 5 years ago were playing in her mind.
“Get out!!! You are a blo*dy cheater!! I don’t want to see your face!!!”
She was reminding all that in her mind when Sia jerked her.
S: Riddhima! Where are you lost? Anyways, Welcome! Lets go in. Dadi is waiting for you. And how’s your wound? Thank God you bandaged it.
Riddhima looked at Vansh remembering how he bandaged her wound. But right at that moment, she had no feelings to express. She was lost. Sia grabbed her hand in excitement and took her to the entrance hall. All this while, Riddhima was out of world. She was observing her surroundings. With every door, every entrance wall a memory was associated. Memories of pleading, memories of tears and memories of being hurt. She was looking at the way while walking in and In her mind, she was imagining herself pleading and crying in the hall way. Once again, All her memories freshened. She looked at Vansh who was following her behind. He was observing her strange emotions but said nothing. She became fierce from inside but tried to remain calm from outside. The slight change, The ice that started melting just a while ago between her and Vansh seemed to grow again. She was lost but the gentle touch of someone’s hand cupping her cheeks brought her to reality. She looked at the person. It was Dadi.
R: Dadi? How are you? Feeling better?
She asked with almost no expressions.
D: You are looking so dull Riddhima. Where are you lost?
R: I am fine Dadi.
D: I am very glad that you agreed on our invitation.
S: Riddhima I am so excited to talk with you the whole night. And Even Ishani has to say something to you.
Riddhima looked at Ishani.
I: (stern) I am just doing to it on Sia’s saying but Yeah!… I am genuinely thankful to you for saving Dadi’s life and then, mine too. Thanks for what you did. But that doesn’t mean we have forgiven you.
S: You Don’t have to say that.
R:(stern): I am not expecting anything like this too. I came her as Dadi wanted it. I am going to stay here for one night only. I don’t think that would bother you so much. Moreover, I am not even asking forgiveness that you had to.
S: Oh leave her Riddhima! She is sometimes like that. Lets First have dinner then I will show you your room. Infact, you can stay in Sejal’s room today. She has gone for a event trip just an hour ago. She won’t be coming till tomorrow.
Ishani gets irritated and left from there.
R: Oh its not needed. I will stay in the guest room if its available. I don’t want your privacy to get disturbed.
S: Oh its nothing like that. But If you want to then yeah, Guest room is always available. Right Vansh bhai?
They both looked at Vansh who was listening to their talks silently for a long time.
S: You are totally mute today.
V: Riddhima can stay wherever she wants to. I will tell the servants to set up outhouse.
He goes away. Riddhima was staring her.
R(to herself): weird! Something is definitely going on in his mind.
After this, They had dinner where only sia and Dadi were talking. None of the others spoke anything. Sia showed Riddhima the guest room and after talking for almost an hour, Sia went to sleep. After that, A servant came to Riddhima’s room telling her about Dadi’s summon. He told that Vansh Was also there. She became worried and went hurriedly. When she reached Dadi’s room, Vansh was already sitting there. She came in.
R: Dadi! You called me? Are you Ok?
V: Where were you? I called you here a while ago. I thought if you wouldn’t be sleeping, You would check Dadi for once.
R: Yeah sure!
Saying so, Vansh left from there.
R: Let me bring my stethoscope. I’ll be back in a moment.
She went and brought the stethoscope and started checking dadi. After this, she spoke,
R: Everything is fine. You just need to take alot of rest. Take your medicines regularly and If it is comfortable then try to walk a few steps in the morning.
Dadi smiled.
R: I think you are sleepy. I must go. Good night!
Dadi holds her wrist. Riddhima turns and looks with a questioning look.
D: Can’t you sit with me for a while?
R: Of course Dadi!
She sats beside her on the bed.
D: Riddhima! I want to talk to you about something. If you are comfortable?
R: Sure Dadi! Ask whatever You wish.
Dadi holding her both hands in her own,
D: Riddhima! I know you from the past 6 years. Whatever happened that day but still my heart is not convinced about that. I always considered you like a daughter. This thing is bothering me alot. You came back after 6 years with a totally different identity. But still my heart is not convinced somewhere of what happened that day. I didn’t invite you here for this purpose but still I am restless. I request you Riddhima, Can’t you tell your Dadi, The real truth?
Riddhima who was till now listening silently, spoke,
R: Dadi! I don’t think I have anything to tell that you don’t know. Whatever happened was the real truth. Don’t bother yourself. Your health will deteriorate.
D: No! A daughter can lie to her mother, that doesn’t mean that the mother can’t catch that lie. Your face, is telling one story and your eyes are telling another. Don’t know what you have hidden in your heart.
R: Dadi!…..
D(cutting her): I know you won’t tell. Your truth is much more bigger than my love. Thats why, My love failed today.
R(emotional): Don’t say this dadi! Your love is the best!
D: Then, why can’t you tell me? I know there would be some strong reason. Its fine if you are not comfortable.
She losened the hold on Riddhima’s hands. Riddhima noticed it and gripped them again.
R: Dadi! Even that day I told the same thing that “I can’t tell you anything!” But If you have ever felt that my love, my respect for you was genuine then trust me for one last time. Whatever I WAS doing and Whatever I AM doing, is never meant to harm you all. I promise you that soon everything will be fine!
Saying so, She stood up.
R: Good night Dadi.
Dadi gestured her to bend down. She bent down. Dadi cupped her face in her hands and kissed her forhead.
D: I trust you compeltely. Good night!
Riddhima smiles and leaves. After coming out, she saw Vansh going up.
R: Where was he roaming all this time?
She went to her room. Vansh saw her going towards guest room. He smirked.
Flashbacks starts,
Vansh coming out of Dadi’s room. He went towards Riddhima’s room.
V(to himself): I purposely called you in Dadi’s room. So that, I can fit this camera in your room in your absence. I will keep an eye on you now. You will be exposed soon Riddhima.
He fits the camera in a corner from where the whole room is seen.
Flashback ends.
Riddhima entered to her room and smirked.
R: (to herself): Perfect!!!
Flashback starts,
When servant left from her room, she thought.
R(to herself): Dadi called me and Vansh is also there. This is the right time. I will silently go in Vansh’s room and fit the camera. So that, I would be able to keep an eye on his every move.
She silently goes to his room and fits the camera in a proper position. After that, she goes towards Dadi’s room.
Flashback ends.
Both of them changed and sat on the beds with their laptops in their own room.
R:(to herself): I am sure someone would be keeping an eye on me. I should not make a sound. Lets now see what is he upto?
She put on her headphones and started watching live footage.
Meanwhile, Vansh was also sitting on his bead in his duvet and watching Riddhima on his laptop screen. He put on the headphones too.
Both of them were watching each other on their laptops screen but none of them knew what the other is watching as the camera was showing laptop’s back. Almost two hours passed this way.
R(to herself): What is he watching from almost two hours? With so much concentration too. And in front of me, He always talks big words, “I will find your truth! “”I will decode your mystery”. Huh!!! Just attitude nothing else!
She started dosing and rubbing her eyes.
Meanwhile, Vansh in his own room was also dosing and with half opened eyes, he was looking at Riddhima. He was exhausted
V(to himslef): Will she ever speak something? Look at her! She is dosing but her laptop is more important to her than her sleep. What is she watching with so concentration at this hour? I thought she would make a move so that I would be able to get a clue. But here, she is interested in a movie only. Just attitude nothing else.!!
Riddhima was also exhausted. At last, she spoke,
R: I am exhasuted now!
Vansh listened it and said,
V: Finally This Riddhima spoke something!
Riddhima listened and becomes confused,
R: How did he knew that I spoke something?
The same continued,
V: how did she knew that I spoke about her?
They both become silent, confused and shocked.
R:(To herslef): Is he watching me?
V:(himself): is she watching me?
Both of them looked here and there in their rooms and found a camera hidden in their rooms. Both went up and removed it, holding it in their hands. They both looked at camera’s lens and become furious and Irritated.
R: Vansh RaiSinghania!! I will not leave you now.
V: Riddhima Shah! Save yourself from me now!
They both hurriedly put on their headphones, turned on their laptops and set the camera in front of them. With an angry look, Riddhima spoke first,
R: How dare you put camera in my room!
V: As if You are so innocent? Even you put a camera in my room. Riddhima!
R: Shut your mouth! Is this the way you treat a guest?
V: You tell first, is this the way being a guest?
R: Mr. RaiSinghania!
V: Riddhima!!
R: I caught you!
V: This is not a hide and seek that you caught me.
R: It was definitely a hide and seek. Hide the camera and seek the spy.
V:(laughs sarcastically): haha. Even I caught you too then. Hiding a camera and seeking the spy, Ms.Riddhima Shah!
R: Whatever. Why were you keeping an eye on me?
V: I will do whatever I want to. Why were YOU keeping an eye on me?
R: I am not interested to tell you!
V: It doesn’t depend on your interest. It shows that definitely you were upto something?
R: Even you were upto something? Where are you manners? Who puts a camera in girl’s room?
V: I am thorough gentleman Riddhima! And BTW where are your manners? I am a boy that doesn’t mean that I am open to being spied by a girl. Even you have no manners.
R: You!…(pissed) You were behaving weird! I was suspicious that you have brought me here for a reason. Just wanna know that.
V: Even you are behaving suspicious from day 1. You should praise my patience that I did it today. Not a long time back.
R: Like you haven’t done anything yet! Who barges almost daily in my office for accusing me? Who was always talking big words to know my reality?
V: Yes! I am doing that! Shouldn’t I? I leave you unchecked again so that you again run away with mone….
He stopped and realized what he said. But she listened it. She was hurt.
V: I…I mean..
R(hurt but smiles) Its ok! Don’t stop! (Taking a long breath) You know what! I am really sleepy now. I am placing my camera beside my bed. You can keep an eye on me the whole night. I won’t run away this time. Good night!
Saying so, she put off her headphones, turned off her laptop and placed the camera beside her bed. Doing this, she lay down to sleep turning her back to camera. She slept immediately. Vansh was looking all this. He was feeling guilty. He was looking at the laptop screen with his headphones put on, he thought,
V(himslef): Why I always end up hurting her? I have no control on my tongue.
Riddhima in her sleep turned towards the camera. Vansh looked at her face in camera. He caressed her face on his screen. He was adoring her.
V: Beautiful!
He was looking his screen with so much concentration that he didn’t know when he dozed off with his headphones on….
It was dawn. Riddhima was sweating in her sleep as of watching a nightmare. She had the glimpses of being pushed out of VR MANSION. She was listening to all the voices in her sleep. She was shivering. Then, she saw many people being tied, tortured and pleading. Then, she saw someone shot another person. She woke up in shock.
R: No!!!!
She shouts at the top of her voice. This was listened by Vansh who was sleeping but hsi headphones were put on. He woke up.
V: What is this noise?
R: No!
Vansh again listened. He realized that Its Riddhima. He looked at the laptop screen. Riddhima was taking heavy breaths. She was sweating and was very much scared. She took a jug of water from the side table. And stood up. Then, she went near the window. Putting her head out of the window, she started dropping water on her head. When the jug was empty, she put it on the side and started taking breaths as if trying to calm herself.
V: What happened to her? She looks scared. I should check.
He got up and went down towards Riddhima’s room. When he entered, she was not there. He called her name,
V: Riddhima!!!….Riddhima!!!!!
No reply.
He came in the hall, checked in the kitchen, the hallways, study but she was nowhere to be seen. He was much worried now. He called her but she didn’t pick. Then, he thought to check outside. He went outside and was standing on the entrance when he saw her sitting in the lawn with her head upwards looking at the twilight. He became pissed and went towards her.
V: What are you doing here? I was looking for you in the entire mansion.
R: For solving your issues, Scientists have invented a device called as “cell phone”!! I am sure you got one. You should have called me.
V: Scientists have also told that cell phones should not be kept on silent! To avoid emergency situations.
R: Scientists never said anything such! Otherwise they had never put the option of silent.
V: Come to the point Riddhima!
R: What?
V: What are you doing here?
R:(sarcastically): Playing cricket! Wanna join?
V: Riddhima!!
R: I wanted some fresh air and peace!
V: What happened to you in the room?
R(disappointed): So you were ACTUALLY watching me the whole night?
V(irritated): Why are you so difficult? I was not watching you! I heard your shriek so checked on you from my laptop and then came finding you.
R(looking in other direction): I am fine! It was just a nightmare. Not a big thing! (Looking at him) And please! I am not in a mood right now to argue with you. You can sit here if you want to but please don’t question anything from me.
Vansh sat down there too. They both were sitting silently deep in thoughts!
V(to himself): All my spying plans failed today but I am glad I failed her too. But…(observing Riddhima and thinking) That was not just a nightmare. You looked scared. You pose so strong and brave. What did you saw so horrible that made you so much scared? How many secrets are you hiding inside you? How many fears are you fighting with?
R(to herself): I know you would be now thinking what Nightmare I had! That is not just a nightmare. All those events actually happened. I am not scared of those events. I am just scared of the worst. All those people were shot dead because of me. They died in front of my eyes. I can’t forget that even in my subconcious mind! Its the biggest secret of my life!! They left me breaking my heart forever! I hope that never happen to anyone in their life. I hope nothing like that happen to you and your family. I hope the history never ever repeat itself! This is my fate! These nightmares are my punishment! Because….
