Hello Everyone!!

Vansh stood with his hands nestled in his pockets, looking at his well wisher, Kabir.

“And do you want to know who is the one who helped us get you arrested?” Kabir asked, with a smirk.

Vansh raised his brow on hearing him, while Kabir added, “Your wife!”

From childhood he had always felt betrayed, heartbreak, detested and all the negative feelings present on Earth. He should’ve seen it coming that no-one would ever be loyal to him.

But Vansh Raisinghania is such a fool.

He thought that he could also feel the emotion of love. He could also be cared for. Her eyes made him believe.

Alas, eyes aren’t always doors to ones heart. He was betrayed, again.

He felt his world stopped when Kabir surrounded his wrists with handcuffs and his step mother, crying for him but he couldn’t save himself now.

He doesn’t want to.

If he survives, he’ll have to face her. He doesn’t want to. He won’t be able to see the love she has for him in her eyes. How could he term it as fake?

With a heavy heart, he sat in the police jeep as the moments with his wife, replayed in his mind.

He loved her.

He thought, she loved him too.

They could be a family.

A happy family.

Together.

Not all dreams come true.

“Take left,” Kabir’s voice brought Vansh out of his trance and he didn’t fail to notice that the direction, he was being taken in wasn’t the police station.

Vansh wanted to voice out. He wanted to fight back. He wanted to question.

But what would happen now?

Nothing.

Does he have any hope to live?

He clearly doesn’t.

It wouldn’t have hurt him if Riddhima hadn’t behaved like a wife and made him think that he too, deserves love, care and affection.

He too, could be treated like a child and pampered.

The halt in the jeep brought Vansh out of thoughts again and this time he was pulled out by Kabir.

“Why are we here?” Vansh brought the first out of his mind as he saw the cliff.

“I’m letting you go,” smirked Kabir, “You are free to leave and go as far as you want.”

Vansh smiled sadly.

He would want to go back home.

The home where he had his mother. After her loss, he got home only when he got Riddhima in his life.

The middle of his life, it was a house. No emotions, no feelings, no conversations, no care, no concern. Just selfishness, arguments and hatred.

“Vansh!”

He heard the voice which he longed to hear. The voice of his wife, his love, his Riddhima.

She ran towards him and all he wanted to take her in his arms, even after the betrayal.

He didn’t miss the disgusting look, his wife gave to Kabir as she stood in front of him, close.

Holding his face in her palms, she said, “There’s so much I want to tell you but I’ll start with Sorry.”

Heaving a sigh, she added, “I am sorry for not trusting you and betraying you. I didn’t know what I was doing. Please, Please don’t hate me. I love you.”

Vansh looked straight in her eyes as she said those sentences and he felt only love shower in them. Could she lie to him, again?

Was her love temporary?

He didn’t care, if it’s temporary, so it be.

He wants to feel loved, once again.

“Too late, Riddhima,” he heard Kabir say and then a loud gunshot echoed which was followed by Riddhima’s scream.

He felt his whole world stop on hearing her scream. Was she hurt? Did something happen to her?

Looking around, he saw Kabir on the floor and Angre, his most trusted man a few metres away, who came running to him and engulfed him a hug.

“Boss, are you okay?” Angre asked, breaking the hug.

Vansh nodded.

Angre’s eyes felt on Riddhima who was looking at her husband, like he would disappear into the air if she looked at something else.

Taking the hint, he left the couple, alone.

“Vansh,” Riddhima said and made him look at her, “I know, I have made mistakes. You have all the rights to be mad at me but don’t ignore me, please.”

Ignore her?

Mad at her?

He can’t do those things, not when it’s her.

“I love you,” she claimed again.

His heart had yearned to hear her say that and now that she did, it did skips and danced.

“I love you too,” gone were the insecurities and second thoughts which he had in mind.

Joining their foreheads, they stood as the sun rested.

Love was blooming again in them, as she took the initiative of kissing him.

How amazing it would be to come back home! To come back to the one, you love!
