The sunlight slowly made its way into my room. It was dawn. And as usual, I was awake early. I looked at one side of my bed which looked clean and tidy in contrast to the other side used by me which was messed up. How would it be messed up without HIM using the bed? I sighed. I just wish if I could spend some time, quality time with him for a day. Well, this will remain my LONGING FOREVER. I looked at the huge photograph hung on the wall. A layer of tears glistened in my eyes, as I started to caress it lovingly. It was took on our wedding. I smiled as I remembered those lovely moments spent with him during my wedding. After my wedding, he was engulfed into his professional commitments that he hardly talks with me. He is a modern nomad. But, professionally known as an ACTOR. Thus, he is available for all his directors, producers, co-actors except his family. My mom-in-law is accustomed to this because her husband was a famous actor a decade ago. Dad-in-law passed away 3 years back, that is, before our marriage. It has been 6 months since our marriage had happened and I am unable to digest the incidents happening around me. Mom-in-law says that I would get accustomed to all these with time. But, I doubt.

I wore my tracks and got ready for my morning jog in the huge jog track here, in our bungalow. I was not allowed to jog outside according to HIS instructions and only god knows why. I started jogging. Jogging is one of the things which make me feel happy. I jog not to make my body fit, but to make my mind fit. As I entered the drawing room after finishing my jogging, I sat on the couch and took a news paper. I skimmed it, when my eyes caught the sight of HIM. There he was, happily posing with some actress. A tear rolled down my cheek. “Ananya! Did you finish your jogging doll?” I wiped my tears immesiately as I heard my mom-in-law’s voice. But, unfortunately, she saw me wiping my tears. “What happened anu? “ She asked me. I lowered my eyes. “Now, don’t act like nothing happened. Tell me ananya…” She said placing her hand on my cheek. She is my mom more than my mom-in-law. I don’t remember my mom, since I was too young when she passed away. Being brought up under a rich businessman father, I hardly remember spending time with my family.

After my marriage with HIM, I got mom and Ishaan. Ishaan is my bestie more than my brother-in-law. Unlike his brother, he detests actors as he thinks that profession had snatched his dad from him. He is an entrepreneur with a stable living. I looked at mom and upon seeing her, tears welled up in my eyes. I just handed her the newspaper. She looked at it and then at me. She held my hand and pressed it. “Ananya, this is his profession dear. He has to do this, even if he doesn’t like this. Since you are newly married, you are feeling bad. I understand your situation anu. I have undergone the same situation decades ago. Try to understand dear. Now, change and come for breakfast. Let’s have it together. I’ll be waiting for you. Come soon!” She said as she left the place. How is mom able to say easily like this? Experience, perhaps. But, I am not able to take this in an easy way. How could he enjoy his two day break from his movie with his co-actress? I can’t bear this. Being his wife, I have not enjoyed with him like this in these 6 months. I sometimes wonder, why did HE choose this profession. You might think I am selfish. Yes I am. I am an ordinary girl with huge dreams about her married life. Though, I come from a rich family background, my dreams about my marriage were just like other girls. My heart aches when Irealise that I have a HUSBAND FOR NAME SAKE. We don’t meet often. We don’t spend quality time with each other. We don’t live together. We don’t have time to LOVE. Probably, HE doesn’t have time to love. He is so much committed to his profession that he had forgot about his wife, who is longing for him. I don’t know till when I will long like this. How long will I long for his love? Only god knows.
