CHAPTER-11 FAKE PROMISES
(ANNIKA POV)
“Annika listen!” He called making me stop in my tracks…
As I came to an halt he approached me…putting his hand on one of my shoulder and I lost it…I couldn’t take it anymore…I turned towards him and he took me tightly into his warm embrace…My mind had already stopped working but my heart felt the warmth Shivaay was giving me…
Then I realised I was shivering…shivering with the possibilities…shivering with the outcome…shivering with what was coming next….
He realised it too and cupped my face…while looking straightly into my eyes like he was trying to see through my soul…His stare was so intense…My heart fluttered…
Not wanting to say anything we both remain their near the parking lot…holding each other closely and looking into each other’s soul when It started raining…
His blue orbs which always had the power to mesmerise me …this time hypnotizing me…Earlier it was rage, anger,fear but now it was love, pure love…we both were in complete bliss with angels pouring their blessings over us in the form of water droplets…
I wanted to tell him how much he meant to me…I was about to initiate but he kept his finger on my lips…and started speaking…
“The first Time I saw you in my office I realised for the first time that my heart was at the right place…I wanted to approach you there only but couldn’t…and then I almost followed you to the coffee shop not wanting to lose you so easily…Sitting with you there I already lost a piece of my heart to you…but when instead of that little piece I lost whole of my heart to you, I never came to know”I took sharp intake of breathe but he continued…
“When your little smile and antiques started controlling my life, I never came to know…When my whole world started revolving around you, I never came to know…Sitting with you on the couch at your place and absolutely doing nothings…are the memories I will be going to cherish for my whole life time..Today when I saw you inside…all struggling …My heart stopped beating Annika”His eyes welled up while speaking while I kept my finger on one of his escaping tear…nodding my head not to continue but my heart betrayed me who wanted Shivaay to continue…and my heart’s wish got fulfilled because he continued…
“I was angry on you as you forgot about today…I had planned a perfect evening for us..because I wanted today to be memorable for both of us…I wasn’t planning to be here…But I felt something…like some unseen force telling me to reach to you..”
“What has happened if I not able to reach on time?what if something might has happened to you???It’s killing me from inside Annika…It’s tearing me up…I don’t want to lose you ever…You are my life…My love…My breathe…My soul…and the fear I felt today I can’t even explain…”
“I know it’s not the right place and the right time and we both are shocked too but It’s the right moment…because what I felt today I never want to feel again…”
He cupped my face…
“I want you to be mine…and me to be yours forever…I promise you I will love you forever till the death seperate us…I would never ever let any tear escape from your eyes…I would never leave you…I will live for your smile forever Annika…I love you…will you marry me?”he reached into his trouser’s pocket and fetched up a little cubical box…
I was shocked…while he was looking towards me…We both were completely drenched by now…My mind was still processing each and every word and my body felt numb…He planned for proposing today already …That’s why he was all angry earlier…Oh god…The emotions I saw was truly love…pure love…I dreamed manytimes him proposing me…but never knew It will truly happen one day and that day would be so early…
“Anu?”He asked again…
I started crying while his face got tensed…
I nodded slightly and said “Yes..”shivering with his intense love and cold…
Love was in the air along with passion…promises got exchanged…words got exchanged…We started imagining our future together…
Flashback ends….
But now I knew every promise made and every word spoken by him was fake…
Every emotion was fake…The great Shivaay Singh Oberoi was just playing with me…He was just lieing with me all the time…Everything happened between us was fake…
Shivaay standing besides me was trying to show his concern while my blood was boiling…
Those blue eyes which made me love him that day were making me feel disgust with myself now..and then a police officer came towards us…
So here’s the next chapter…How’s it? Please tell me…I’m not a very romantic sort of person so I don’t know if I portrayed the proposing part good enough…Pls comment about it…
