Sonam cries profusely after Nutan scolds her. Dhruv requests her to calm down as amma/Nutan’s inteiont was not to hurt her, she is old fashioned and she follows all the rituals. Sonam says she is deeply hurt with amma’s behavior, what must have parents thought seeing all this. Dhruv says amma was wrong, but she forgive amma. He starts cracking joke. Sonam starts laughing and asks to stop joking. Dhruv asks her to count till 50. She says 1, 2, 50. He asks to count properly.
On the other side, Shashikant scolds Nutan for insulting Sonam when she excitedly came with an idea, she was looking like a chudail, etc. Nutan says Sonam wanted to marry Dhruv in a church, doesn’t she know that woman wears white clothes when husband dies. Shashikant says what is wrong if the girl was so excited about wedding and she just expressed her idea. He reminds her when Dhruv came with a proposal. She goes into flashback when Dhruv informs them that he loves Sonam and she completes him, she is very intelligent and he learns from him. She reacts and asks what Sonam knows about their culture, she will spoil their family, what will neighbors think, etc. Dhruv says Sonam will change according to their culture and they should give her a chance. Shashikant says if Dhruv is so confident that Sonam will change and will be perfect bahu for this family, he promises that he will do anything for Dhruv’s happiness. Dhruv happily kisses his parents’ hands and lies in Nutan’s lap. Out of flashback, Shashikant warns Nutan to behave with Sonam and never show her chudail avatar again, else he will not keep quiet. Nutan thinks she shouldn’t have promised Dhruv that day.
Sonam counts till 50 and seeing Dhruv’s friends peeping from window asks what are they doing here. Dhruv takes flowers from them and gifts her saying flowers for the beautiful lady love of his life. She asks if he showing filmy romance. He says being from Mumbai, films teach them to romance and romance is in Prayagraj. He takes guitar and sings Hum Tere Bin Rah Nahi Sakte Tere Bina Kya Wajood Mera…song.. and dances with her looking into her eyes.. Pal ek pal..song..plays in the background next. Friends close their eyes seeing their romantic dance. Sonam and Dhruv stand looking into each other’s eyes and get conscious hearing someone whistling. Friends ask who is it. UP police catches them and trashes for breaking lockdown. Sonam and Dhruv laugh.
Batasha informs Tanu, Subhadra, and Pratham that food is ready. Tanu asks why didn’t he change her bed’s bedsheet. He says he just changed when they came and will change when it gets dirty. Tanu shouts he should change it daily, its an issue of hygiene. Batasha asks who got haiza/cholera.. Shasikant enters saying hygiene means cleanliness, they are right and says his zohra jabeen/Nutan got trucks of bedsheet during wedding and buys a lot regularly, so they can change bedsheet 4 times a day. He orders Batasha to change bedsheet and orders Nutan to go and get bedsheet. Nutan with Bua goes to get bedsheet fuming. They see Sonam and Dhruv’s romance and get jealous. Bua tells Nutan that Dhruv doesn’t change bedsheet even in a month, what if his wife changes it every day, he cannot handle it; she will make this understand today and make them cancel the wedding.
Precap: Bua tells Dhruv that his parents don’t want to shift to Mumbai, what will he do now. He says he will shift to Prayagraj then. Sonam says he told that his parents will shift to Mumbai and she doesn’t have to sacrifice her career, he either lied her or her parents.
