Little Things (Chapter 4)

Recap:Khushi agree for marriage
Nani and Anjali decide to go to temple. Shyam joins them.Arnav also joins them later on Nani’s insistence.
In temple,
Arnav sees Khushi.
Arnav(to himself): Jab nani ne insist kiya tabi laga tha tum aaoge. Ab kya drama dekhna padega! (I was sure you would come when Nani insisted. I have no idea about the new drama now)
Khushi was putting her sandals near Arnav’s car.
Khushi:Arent you getting inside temple?
Arnav:Yah i will come in few minutes. I have an important call coming up.
Khushi:Phone mein guss rehne ke aadat bhagwan keliye chod sakti hu (I can change my habit of living in phone for god)
Arnav:So you mean. You want me to not use phone till prayers are done.
Khushi:You arent a fool afterall.
Arnav:What the.. Khushi!
Khushi: come on Arnav! Lets go together.
Arnav:Oh! Thats your intention?
Khushi:I dont want to be back there. But our drama marriage life must go on atleast.
Arnav:Right.
As Arshi climb up the stairs of temple.Khushi remeber the first time ever she visited the temple after her Parents Divorce. With her small brother on her moms arms and she holding her moms hand, Khushi came.
Just like now she was invited by Nani and small Anjali and naughty Arnav and their mother, Garima’s best friend. But now Khushi miss Arnav’s mother. Silent attack’s are more loud cries. She died an year after Khushi’s arrival.
She also remember her first introduction to Small Anjali and Naughty Arnav. Arnav stood behind his beloved Di staring at all the new faces.1yr old Ishaan(Khushi’s brother) had no idea of his surroundings. He was all smiling when Nani first took him in her hands. Small Khushi had slightly heard the elders talk about her sister who went with her dad.Khushi never asked where they went. She saw her mom crying for her husband and daughter . Khushi felt sad for her mother and herself.
She then remember meeting Anjali and Arnav. They were not too harsh on Khushi. She was all free with Arnav more than Anjali. As the four grew up, Khushi and Arnav became the best friends while with others it was more like brother and sister relation.
It was Khushi’s 16th birthday. All were excited as Garima had set a surprise for Khushi. Ishaan was 10yrs. Arnav and Khushi were talking.Garima walk down the stairs with a cake. Khushi cut the cake and feed it to all.
Garima:Now its time for the special surprise. My Princess gets a car of her own with a driver soon.
Khushi in excitement hugs her mother.
Khushi:Thank you mom! I really loved it. But since i am only 16, let the car be yours now and once i grow up i would love to have it all alone.
Ishaan:Di! It aint your favourite ice cream. Khushi:Isha!
Ishaan applys Cake on Khushi’s cheeks.
Ishaan:Happy Birthday di!
Khushi applying back:Thank you lil brother. I love you (hugs him)
After sometime,
Arnav takes Khushi aside.
Khushi:What happened Arnav?
Arnav:Listen Khushi! I have been wanting to tell you about it since a long time.I like you yaar.
Khushi(shocked):What? You mean to say you love me?
Arnav:Yah!
Khushi:Arnav! I too love you. But i dont know if its like boyfriend girlfriend.
Arnav hugs Khushi.
Arnav:Close your eyes Khushi! Imagine yourself in a beach during dawn.
Khushi nods
Arnav:And whom do you see there with you?
Khushi:You!
Arnav:Why?
Khushi opens her eyes.
Khushi:Are you hypnotizing me?
Arnav(laughs):No!
Khushi:I see you may be because i love you!
Arnav:Truly? Deeply?
Khushi:Madly bhi hai stupid (There is Madly in between stupid)
Arnav smiles and hugs her more tighter.She smiles.
Present.
Khushi looks at Arnav. She remember the night he proposed her at the age of 16.
Khushi(To herself): How can he just forget all that and move on? Is that so easy? I dont think so.May be realisation hits boys way too late.

May be its a short episode. But sorry guys. As i am writing during break some epi’s will be short with few scenes alone. I will try for bigger epi next.
