Little Things (Chapter 3)

In Delhi,

Recap:Nani wish for Arshi marriage.Arshi are left on their own for deciding. Arshi have a past!

Nani:Arnav bitva aur Kushi bitiya hum aapka intezaar karenge. Kal shaam aap dono hamare saat mall chaliyega (Arnav and Khushi i will wait for you. Tomorrow evening we all may go to mall)

Arshi look at eachother.

Arnav:Nani! Khushi and I are so early for a marriage.
Anjali:No chote. Its the right time.
Garima:I agree with them.
Anjali:Garima Aunty, we are leaving. Will meet tomorrow.
Nani:Garima hum chalte hai (We will leave)
Garima:Bye Nani, Bye Anjali beti, By Son-in-law
Nani and Anjali laugh.

Next day evening,

All meet at mall
Nani:Chote abhi aayege. Khushi bitiya aap yaha rehege.Hum uss baby shop jaana chahte hai. Aap Chote ko lekar waha aayiye (Arnav will come now. Khushi can you please stay here till Arnav comes. We want to go to the baby shop.)
Khushi:But Nani!
Anjali:Please Khushi ji.
Khushi:Ok Di.

Nani and Anjali giggle and leave for shopping. After few minutes Arnav comes and sees Khushi. He sees few people roaming around her, she was keen on phone. Arnav tightens is fist. He walks to her and holds her by elbow.

Arnav:Khushi!
Khushi gets startled
Arnav:Phone mein guss rehne abhi tak tumne choda nahi ha? (You havent left the habit of living inside Phone?)
Khushi:Why are you shouting?
Arnav:Where is Nani and Di?
Khushi:They are inside the baby shop.
Arnav:Come lets go there.

Khushi and Arnav walk to the baby shop. Khushi gets a call. Arnav looks at her.

Khushi:Hi i am a bit busy. Can you call me later.

Khushi hangs up.

Arnav:Thank God! You didn’t talk for hours.
Khushi looks back and sees few people behind Arshi. She pokes Arnav. He stares at her angrily.
Khushi:Arnav!
Arnav:What? (irritated)
Khushi:kuch log hamara peecha kar rahe hai (Some people are following us)
Arnav slowly turns back and sees the same boys who was around Khushi earlier.
Arnav:These are the same people
Khushi:Which same people.?
Arnav:Who were roaming around you and i shouted at you earlier.
Arnav close his mouth
Arnav(To himself): oh teri! Yeh tune kya kardi yaa (What the hell did you do mahn!?)
Arnav:Wohhh i mean to say!
Khushi:Not a word more!
Khushi(to herself): Did Arnav just save me from these stupid guys… Awww!!!
Khushi smiles at Arnav. Arnav smiles back a bit confused.
The cute smiley smiley moment was spoiled by one of the boys who were behind them. He ran away taking Khushi’s dupatta.

Khushi scream. Arnav runs behind him. While the other guys tried to come close to Khushi. She took pepper spray from her bag and sprays it on all the boys. Arnav beats the person black and blue and brings back Khushi’s dupatta. He sees others being taken away by mall securities. Arnav opens her dupatta and give it to her.

Khushi:Thank you Arnav!

Suddenly one of the bad boy comes from behind. Khushi sees him and panics and shouts “Arshuuu look back! “.Arnav beats him and he was taken by security.

Khushi runs to Arnav and Hug him.
Khushi:Arshuuu are you fine? Aapko kuch hua nahi na. Uss cheapde ka toh mein tukda tukda karungi (Anything happened to you. I will slice that cheap guy into pieces)
Arnav laughs
Arnav:Calm down Jaanu! Nothing happened.
Khushi smiles and hugs him. They were lost in the embrace.

Anjali and Nani reach there. And see Arshi hugging.
Anjali:Nani humein lagta hai pattar sahi nishane par laga (Nani i think the stone reached the right place)
Nani:Plan mera hi tha na (Plan was mine right)
Nani and Anjali do hi-fi.

Nani and Anjali cough after few mins. Arshi realise their position and whatever they said before. And move to two sides. Anjali and Nani find them weird.

Arnav(to himself): I am happy hearing her say Arshu. She saying Arnav was a bit awkward for me. But why cant i just stay happy that she was back into my arms. No Arnav you have moved on. You wanted a change and now you cant change back.

Khushi(to herself): Why cant i smile hearing Jaanu! Damn! Khushi how can you forget what happend 4yrs back. You are a big fool. Now you have to move on.

Anjali, Nani and Arshi decide for having food. They give order.

Anjali:Chote and Khushi ji How are you?
Khushi:Fine di. (smiles)
Nani:Chote aap yaha aaye humein bohat Khushi huyi (Chote i am really happy that you came)
Arnav: I had to come for you both atleast.
Anjali:We need the answer Khushi ji.
Nani:Chote is all YES! What about you?

Khushi looks at Arnav in confusion. Arnav signs her that he didn’t tell anything.
Khushi:Humein koyi aitraaz nahi hai iss rishta se,lekin humein aitraaz hai Arnav se. Agar woh aise hi khadoos rehega toh hum yeh shaadi ke baad ki zindagi ka kya guarantee hai? Humari taraf se “Ha” hai agar Arnav ji khud ko 10% bhi badle toh. (I have no problem with his relation, if at all i have a problem thats with Arnav. If he remains this serious, my life after marriage will not have guarntee. Its an Yes from my side, if Arnav changes himself at least to 10% )
Anjali: Khushi ji i can understand your worry.
Arnav:Thats a stupid Reason di! She doesnt want to marry me. And above that giving these stupid reason.Oh Khushi! I cant believe this!
Khushi:I know i was being silly. Ok i dont want you to change, but you will never restrict me from doing anything. You are promising me Now!
Arnav:Ok I promise.

Anjali and Nani clap. Khushi and Arnav fake smiles.
