Pankhudi became a household name by her popularity in a single show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai. She was Adi’s love and life. Being the soul of the Diwaan mansion, she has always supported her family and fought with many problems single handed. She had freed Adi of molestation charges proving him innocent. She had made Vikram change into a better man, bringing out his hidden honesty and goodness that he had.
Pankhudi was going to spend some time with her family in Kullu. She went to the landslide area to talk to Adi and did not realize she is about to fall. She ran seeing the landslide but failed to save her life. Her family assumes she died and informs Adi. As he did not get her dead body, he felt she is somewhere alive, maybe waiting for him to find her.
Adi starts finding her everywhere around Kullu, be it hill stations and prohibited areas. He fails to find her. Harish goes to Lucknow on his film shooting. He spots Ayesha, Pankhudi’s look alike and is shocked. Harish calls Anisha and tells her everything. Anisha rushes to meet Ayesha and convinces her family to allow her to do an act to bring Adi out of depression.
Harish and Anisha brings Ayesha to Diwaan Mansion. While their plan was something else, but Ayesha bumps into Adi. Adi brings her home as Pankhudi. Ayesha is asked to act like Pankhudi for few days, as Harish plans to make her act like dying infront of Adi, to make him believe that Pankhudi is no more.
