“Kunj!”, I muttered as he hugged me from behind. “Yes, darling?”, he replied moving his hands under my saree and circling my navel.

“Kunj, please stay away”, I begged him. He moved my hair to one side and bit my neck. “Ahh..Kunj”, I moaned as he looked up at the mirror to see me. I opened my eyes and painfully looked at him while he wickedly smiled and asked, “It hurts, right?”

I continued looking at him through the mirror as he said, “Even I was hurt when you were making out with Yuvraj in my absence.”

“Kunj, he was forcing himself on me. I’ve always loved only you”, I said as he turned me around harshly.

“Shut up. You’ve never loved me and now, even I don’t love you. I just love your s*xy figure”, he yelled and unpinned the saree from my shoulder. “Kunj, please don’t”, I said placing my hand on the shoulder.

He jerked away my hand and removed the saree from my shoulder and soon, it was haphazardly thrown on the floor while I covered myself with my hands placed across my upper body. “Kunj, please move away”, I begged him stepping back as he motioned towards me.

I was moving back when he suddenly picked me up and threw me on the bed. “Kunj, please!”, I begged him yet again while the tears rolled down my cheeks as he moved towards me. He pulled me closer to himself and forced himself upon me.

Around three hours later, I was sleeping beside Kunj without any clothing on my body and covered with the blanket. I looked at Kunj who’s hand was wrapped around my bare waist. I tried removing his hand slowly but, he woke up. He smiled and said, “You’re really good, baby! But, I need you again.”

“Kunj, please. I already have a really bad pain”, I said while crying but, he ignored me and again forced himself upon me.

Days passed by and Kunj continued forcing himself upon me but, I was helpless. “There’s nothing I can do”, I thought. I looked at myself in the mirror and cried looking at all the visible marks on my body. I touched them slowly remembering Kunj’s torture and screamed in pain. I sat down leaning against the wall crying vigorously. Suddenly, something struck by mind and I quickly changed myself into a salwaar.

After an hour, Kunj came back home. He threw his coat on the couch and moved towards me. He pulled me closer by my waist and tightening his grip kissed me. He pulled back after a long time as I struggled to breathe.

“I missed you so much today. We had so many meetings to be attended. I couldn’t even come back early but, now you will satisfy me, right Twinkle?”, he said and bit my shoulder as I gulped in.

“Kunj, you’re going to become a father”, I uttered in a breath closing my eyes. He looked up at me in disbelief and yelled, “What?” “I’m pregnant Kunj”, I said as he caught hold of my hairs.

“Why didn’t you take any prevention?”, he asked. I looked at him painfully as he caught hold of my wrist and said, “We’ll abort this baby right now. No one can come between you and me.”

“Kunj, please!”, I begged him crying while trying to free my hand and said, “I’m not pregnant. Kunj, please leave me” “You lied to me?”, he shouted questioning me. “You’ll bear the punishment now”, he added and dragged me out of the room and then, downstairs. “Kunj, Yuvi was better”, I lied as he looked at me shocked.

I freed my hand and ran upstairs crying while he stood there shocked. I locked myself in the room and leaning against the door sat down on the floor. I covered my face and cried when Kunj knocked the door and said, “Open the door.”

I continued crying ignoring him and fell asleep over there. The next morning, I woke up and unlocked the door. I saw Kunj sitting on the floor with his back leaning against the wall. I went downstairs and prepared breakfast for the two of us.

I was pouring the juice when Kunj came and took the jug from my hand. “Twinkle, sit down. You need rest. I’ve already arranged for a nurse who’ll take care of you and a maid has been arranged for doing all the household chores”, he said.

“Kunj, there was no need of all this”, I said but, he forwarded me the glass and said, “Drink.” I gulped in the juice and was about to speak when Kunj kissed my forehead and said, “Eat healthy and take care. I’m leaving for office and might be late. Have your dinner and don’t wait for me.” He walked out of the house as I touched my forehead and smiled. “The same, gentle kiss just like before”, I thought.

I ate my dinner while the maid cleared the table. “Ma’am, you should take rest now”, the nurse said. I smiled as she helped me climb upstairs. She made me lay down and switching off the lights said, “Ma’am, you should sleep now. You’ve had a tiring day.” I smiled and pulled the blanket over myself as she walked out of the room.

I woke up around an hour later as someone entered the room. I switched on the bed lamp and saw Kunj standing in front of his cupboard. “You can switch on the lights”, I said as Kunj turned around. “Didn’t you sleep yet?”, he asked as I smiled and said, “I did. I woke up just now.”

“I’m sorry for disturbing you. I didn’t..”, he started but, I interrupted saying, “It’s okay. Anyways, I don’t sleep so early.”

“Hmm..”, he said and taking his outfit walked away to the washroom. He came out around 10 minutes later and walked towards the bed. I moved back in fear as he picked up his pillow from the bed and walked towards the couch.

“Kunj, what are you doing?”, I asked. “You sleep on the bed comfortably. I’ll sleep here”, he replied and laid down on the couch. I stared at him for a long time and finally, fell asleep after a while.

Days passed by and I started loving Kunj all over again seeing his care, love and most importantly his responsibility towards me. Kunj also started loving me but, he never expressed it. I wanted him to tell me how he felt about me but, the next instant a thought struck me. “Does he think that I was serious when I said Yuvi was better than him?”, I thought and rushed out of the house.

Around five hours later, I finished decorating our room with candles and rose petals all over. I dressed up in a red netted saree and was waiting for Kunj when he opened the door. He stood shocked at the doorstep while I walked towards him.

“Kunj!”, I exclaimed shaking him. “Twinkle, what is all this?”, he asked. “Come inside first”, I replied and pulling him inside closed the door.

He looked around the room as I said, “Kunj, Yuvi isn’t better.” “Twinkle, please can we not talk about this?”, he asked me.

“Kunj, I want you to know the truth. I didn’t want to compare you with Yuvi ever but, I was literally fed up that day. I knew you were going to force yourself on me again. I wasn’t able to bear the pain anymore. I just said that because I wasn’t able to take you anymore. I’m sorry Kunj”, I said as the tears flowed down my cheek.

Kunj turned around and motioned towards me. He wiped the tears off my face and said, “I’m sorry. I was wrong. I should’ve understood that it was Yuvraj who was at fault and not you. I don’t deserve you.” I slapped him as he held onto his cheek and looked at me shocked.

I pulled him closer tightening my grip onto his collar and said, “You dare not talk a word about my Kunj.” He smiled and said, “I’m sorry.” “I’m sorry too”, I replied as he engulfed me into a hug.

We pulled back after sometime as he asked, “What is all this decoration for?” I bit my lower lip nervously and said, “Nothing. Just to seek forgiveness from you.”

I hurriedly started clearing the rose petals from the bed as Kunj slid his hands on mine stopping me from picking up the petals. He let go the petals from my hand and said, “It’s only you and me tonight.”

I smiled as my cheeks turned a shade of pink. I pushed him and ran away to the other corner. “Kunj, stay away”, I said as he moved towards me. He came in front of me as I ran away near the bed and said, “The day’s over. Good night!”

I arranged the bed properly when Kunj hugged me from back and slid his hands under my saree. “Kunj!”, I muttered relishing the gentle touch. He pulled me closer as my back hit his chest and he moved my hair to the right side. He breathed on my neck letting me feel the warmth. “I love you!”, he whispered as a smile crept over my face.

“Kunj, let’s sleep”, I said. “My good night kiss?”, he asked. I smiled and moved closer to him as he closed his eyes. I kissed his cheek and said, “Good night!”

“That’s not fair”, he complained as I giggled. “Everything is fair in love and war”, I replied and laid down on the bed. Kunj slept next to me as I turned away to the other side.

“Twinkle”, he called me tapping my shoulder but, I didn’t respond. He tightened his grip around my waist and pulled me closer to himself. I turned to face him and said, “Move your hand.”

“We’ll sleep like this everyday”, he said. “Good night!”, I replied blushing. He kissed my forehead and said, “Good night, love!” I softly kissed his lips and said, “Good night, Mr. Husband!” He looked at me shocked and after a while said, “That was so sweet. One more.” I smacked his chest and both of us fell asleep hugging each other.

Well, did you all like this? I uploaded this as I didn’t want to start “I Love You” in between my exams and give you all short updates. Also, I’ve many things planned up for the comeback but, what to do! I don’t want to mess it up writing it at this time.
