a bag falls down on ground with a thud and the boy standing there looks up sighing to control his tension.a rope of dupattas come downs the window and a girl climbs down by it.the girl smiles at boy hugging him tightly who reciprocates the hug.
“laksh let’s go before anyone sees us”the girl whispers to him holding his hand.”ragini are we doing right?”laksh asked worried.ragini cups his cheeks and smilingly says”laksh we love each other and we want to marry that’s what matters.. not in which situations”. laksh nods and they get into his jeep and reach a building.
“our college?”ragini asks laksh grinning while he admired her cute smile.”yes I thought what could be a better place than this to hide,we will relive our college days and our love… and only tomorrow we will go to Temple and marry”laksh took her in bridal style surprising ragini and they sneaked in from back gate.
“laksh now you can keep me down”ragini said hiding her blush.laksh smiled and kept her down.”our college… so many memories”ragini touched the walls around while laksh back hugged her keeping his chin on her shoulder.ragini held his hand on her stomach and nuzzled to him.”I can’t believe we ran away…”ragini said softly but with a smile.”I feel this decision right or you would have married that good for nothing guy”laksh smirked giving her a smug look.”don’t you call him useless he is a really nice guy”ragini defended her psuedo fiance while laksh looked at her raising his eyebrows.”so what do you think my fiance was less beautiful or generous in nature”laksh tried making ragini jealous but the next instant she held his collar pulling him dangerously close.”dare you talk about any other girl in front of me I will rip you into half”ragini threatened him while he gupled down his saliva seeing her anger.laksh immediately kissed ragini on cheeks who was giving him death glares but his touch calmed her instantly and she smiled leaving him.”aww Mera bacha”laksh said seeing her shying away due to his prior action.
“this is the class where we first met”ragini said entwining her hand with his and smiling remembering old memories.laksh looked at her romantically and getting out of her hold ran to the last bench sitting there and smirking at her.ragini smiled excitedly and sat on the front bench.laksh smiled and taking a piece of chalk kept in the desk he hit on ragini’s head.ragini turned furiously and came near him like a lion.laksh made a sorry face seeing her anger while ragini kept hands on her waist in anger.”you flirty guy.. how dare you throw this on me!!”ragini roared showing him the piece of chalk.laksh held his ears pouting cutely and ragini turned going from there while a smile appeared on her lips.
laksh ran to her holding her from back and twirled her around while her laugh filled the silent classroom with joy and spark.
“you were such a flirt back then… and when you hit him I was so furious that someone disturbed my studies…I had thought to teach you a lesson but your cute antics vanished my anger”ragini leaned on to him and pulled his nose at last earning a frown from him.
“I had noticed you at first day of college but you didn’t gave me any attention…”laksh pouted while they stood in the corridor reminscing the scene.”I did look at you but without your notice… you are smart and handsome how could a girl ignore you?”ragini stood in front of him scanning him from top to bottom making laksh shy.laksh started walking while she walked behind him whistling to tease him.”ragini stop it “laksh muttered hiding his blush.ragini held her hands in air surrendering and they moved to canteen.
raglak smirked at each other and came from different directions colliding.ragini smiled in his hold but composed herself flaring her nose and stood up getting out of his hold.”can’t you see and walk?”ragini said rudely while laksh gave her an amused look.”I could say the same thing.. mistake was also yours”laksh crossed his hands smirking.ragini frowned going from there while laksh smiled looking at her.
they sat at a table hand in hand and looked at each other lovingly.”we used to fight for smallest of things… blaming each other every time and college used to tease us saying our fights reflect our love”laksh shook his head remembering their fights.ragini slept on his shoulder smiling softly while the moonlight increased her beauty.laksh admired her tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.he lifted her up careful not to disturb her sleep and they went to a classroom where laksh laid her head on his lap taking support of desk and lost in deep thoughts.
“my stupid ragini… doesn’t even understands teasing… above that when she knows the girl so well….I fell in love with your childish innocence, your fearless avatar in front of me… your not getting affected by my continuous flirting… and your not roaming around me like other girls because of my look and family status… whenever we fought I did it purposely because only by that you talked to me…I changed because of you.. so that I become something that you deserve… getting good marks… staying away from girls I did that all for you….so that I won’t leave a reason for you to say no when I propose you… and now because of your wish we are here… running away from marriage to complete our love story”laksh caressed ragini’s hair while she cooed in his embrace feeling his touch.laksh kissed her forehead and went to sleep himself.
“laksh wake up”ragini shook him and he opened his eyes lazily and looked at his watch.”it’s just 4 a.m. ragini let me sleep”laksh spoke closing his eyes again but ragini pecked his lips shocking him and he pulled her close deepening the kiss.ragini was shocked but responded.his left her giving a small peck and got up.”after marriage I want to wake up like this only”laksh said smirking to a red ragini.ragini got up to run but he held her wrist pulling her on his lap.laksh looked at her romantically while she looked down feeling his heated gaze.laksh left her and she stood up without saying anything.”I am leaving you now but you can not blush from your husband like that”laksh playfully told nearing her and she put her head on his chest hiding her blush.”I wish to stay like this forever”ragini said feeling laksh tightening his grip on her.”now let’s go we have to reach the temple by time”laksh said after sometime breaking the hug.
“laksh you know your touch always arouses the new feeling in me,I feel thousands of butterflies in my stomach…a tickling sensation and goosebumps when you are around…”ragini said keeping her head on his shoulder while he smiles hearing her.”what did you felt when I proposed you?”laksh asked wishing to know about feelings then.”let me start from the start… seeing your changed behavior I was in shock… but I felt really nice seeing you like that… your started staying away from the girls and somewhere I wished you did that for me… you know I felt irritated whenever you praised other girls… but when you didn’t even looked at them seeing their faces I laughed Everytime….I felt satisfied seeing you scoring good marks.. that you are working hard to achieve your goals and have got serious in life… when you asked for friendship in our 2nd year I felt so blessed that you are giving your attention to me… but I was hesitant seeing other girls glaring at me as if they will eat me so I didn’t accepted it suddenly but the next day when I thought that I should not care about those bimbos I accepted your friendship… you looked so happy hearing me that I wished to pull your cheeks but I controlled myself… hanging out with you was the best time of my college life… when you cracked jokes to make me laugh… when I got my homemade dishes you savoured them as if they are the most precious thing….. your small gestures like saving seat for me… making me smile when I was sad and giving me the required space made your place deep in my heart…I was confused for a moment if it’s friendship or love but when you proposed me on our convocation day.. I realized it’s love…it felt so right hearing it from you that I couldn’t control myself..I hugged you tight not wanting to part from you….then I realized that how much I love you….. you are my heart beat and I can’t live without you…I need you…at every stage of life”ragini said dreamily while laksh felt overwhelmed by her pure love but hid his tears or it would make ragini cry.
“we reached temple”laksh said happily but soon his expressions turned grave.”ragini I am worried.. would not our parents be hurt?they dreamt so much about our marriage and we ran away shattering their dreams…they will be broken… this society won’t let them live…they will have to hear taunts.. above that what if they break relation with us? would we be able to match their eyes after doing this!!”laksh spoke coldly making ragini pale.ragini shook her head smiling and said”don’t worry laksh they will forgive us after all we are their kids… and about society…they talk for sometime and then forget… our parents are wise enough to not listen to them… yes they will feel bad but seeing us happy they won’t be angry on us.. we are doing it for good just keep it in mind”. laksh nodded putting a smile on his face and they stepped inside the temple holding hands.
“now is the 3rd phera”pandit said to raglak who smiled at each other and took the steps forward but a voice comes”stop” startling them and they halt their steps looking at the source of voice.”Papa”raglak whisper seeing their parents there.durga Prasad maheshwari and shekar gadodia step inside anger turning them completely red while their better halves Annapurna and sharmishtha move behind them worried.
“you ran away from your homes just before your wedding… you have disappointed us”shekhar shook his head sadly.”laksh what are you trying to do? you ran away with this girl to marry her in a temple in such clothes… what about the grand preparations that we did for your marriage?”Durga Prasad said dazed by his son’s action.”we are business tycoons,we have some reputation at least you would have kept that in mind… marrying in a temple..does it suits the heirs of 2 thriving business persons”Durga Prasad looked at them critically while they held their heads down.annapurna came forward with teary eyes saying”you could have at least told us beta maybe we would have agreed…why you took this step?”. laksh looked at his mother sadly not uttering a word.”ragini me and your father had so much dreams about your marriage…so send you off like a princess.. but you spoiled them by your this act”Sumi said breaking down.raglak looked at each other pouting sadly shaking their heads and moved to each other’s parents.
“MAA didn’t wanted so much of wastage of money, food and energy for our marriage.. I wanted to have a simple marriage”laksh cupped sumi’s cheek wiping her tears.ragini held Annapurna’s hand and looking at her spoke”you all easily agreed for our marriage without any fuss.. and I wanted my love story to be somewhat exciting…or else what would I have told to your grandchildren”. everyone smiled seeing ragini pouting cutely while Annapurna slapped her cheeks lightly for her actions.”but the money has wasted on venue, food, decorations.how could you save all this?”shekhar said to laksh who looked at ragini for help.ragini came to them and said”this laksh is totally emotional.. you know what all he didn’t said to back out from marriage as if we were marrying without your permission… and about the expenses I got everything cancelled without your knowledge…we have some worthy place to spend our money on”. everyone looked at her puzzled but she smirked and said”now come on the marriage is still left”. ragini pulled everyone on mandap and the parents blessed them smiling through glassy eyes.raglak took blessings from everyone and asked sorry for breaking their dreams of lavish wedding.
“we are at the reception of Mr laksh maheshwari,young rising business tycoon and her beau,Mrs. ragini laksh maheshwari who married secretly and now are holding reception at an orphanage”a reporter said and the camera turned towards the orphanage where kids are enjoying the food happily while raglak are admiring them.
“you are looking really beautiful in this red sarees laksh said sensously while ragini hit his chest blushing.”not here”ragini rolled her eyes asking him to stop and laksh looked around with a smile.”thanks, our wedding would not have been better”laksh merged his head with hers while they smiled softly looking forward.”I was initially shocked to hear that you wanted a simple and exciting wedding but seeing your intentions I felt proud being your love”laksh kissed her hand while ragini looked at him admiring him.”you are my better half,if you would not have agreed it would not have been possible,we take decision by accommodating other’s view and it’s what a relationship is, respecting each other, giving them space and freedom and loving forever”ragini kissed his entwined hands with her smiling brightly at him while he smiled hugging her.
