Recap:
Sanjay and gang were looking from the terrace celebrating the end of Shaurya Khanna, the top hotelier…. Shruti was quick to say you mean EX top hotelier papaji…. They laughed evilly and rose their champagne glasses. Karuna and Ravi Kaka could hardly hold Shaurya to get to his room but he need to rest… a lot of rest!
‘Shaurya, by the time you get this letter either you would have broken all the things in your room or hurt my family but all these efforts are in vain because none knows where I have gone. To be truly honest, even I don’t know where am I going to go but I had to take this step for my family. They have suffered enough because of me. Did you know, dadaji never spoke to be because he thought I was to be blamed for my parent’s death? Kanta and Mansi chachi had to keep their kids a side but ensured I had everything otherwise world would say they didn’t take care of me because I am not their own child. Both my chachus worked day and night to ensure they could collect enough to get me married off with respect and love… my cousins never complained when I got more than them but loved me endlessly and PD…. She has been my mother and grandmother for me….. I got so much from them, what did I gave them in return? Jail, bitter words of people around, endless insult from you and some of your family members…. So it is enough! I am leaving you Shaurya Khanna… you said I am nothing without you, you said I am potato and I am middle class with which you had loads of problem and all these came between our love… sorry… I forgot, you never loved me. I don’t want to dig the past but I just have an advice for you for future. I have gone far away from your life… so I believe you can stop disturbing my family members. They will be broken because they won’t be able to digest that I am gone so I beg you not to trouble them further. Your problem was me… and I have gone far away from you so now enough!

Shaurya has read this letter for a million times now and everytime he reads it, he tears up. There is a knock on his door… ‘Mamu’…., a tiny voice called Shaurya. He quickly smiled in his usual classic way. Uff! Again Mahek mami’s letter… why don’t you make the Indian police look for her? The tiny feet now had reached Shaurya and her cuteness was overloading with one hand on her hip and another on her forehead. Shaurya laughed to her final sentence and quickly asked her, ask police to search for mami? Why? Asked Shaurya as if innocently not understanding the little angel’s point. “Arey… once they find mami I will tell her to write a new letter and give you. You have been reading this for 3 years now”, poked that lil angel…. Shaurya felt a smack reminding him it has been 3 years since Mahek left and he did not try to find her because her family had requested him not to do so. Not one day went without him hoping she would come back but he was to be blamed for all these.
‘Mamu…. Are you listening’? Once again the little angel disturbed him off from his imagination. Yes, Alana… I am listening to you…. bolo what will we play today he asked. Nothing! Today both need to finish their homework…. Both Alana and Shaurya were interrupted by another voice by the door. They looked in surprise but soon started laughing. D, may be you should learn to wash your face after making roti’s dough, Shaurya said while laughing. Karuna soon joined them and pretend to scold Shaurya. Beta, why are you disturbing Kyra….she is making rotiya for the entire delhi remember…. Soon even Karuna erupted into laughter. Kyra got annoyed and said, “maa, now even you are laughing at me, its better I go back to Shimla… I only come once a year to meet you all for 3 weeks when Sameer is away for his business trip and you all disturb me, Kyra turned away sadly leaving the room. Shaurya quickly ran out and holded Kyra’s arm. He hold his ears and apologized. She smiled and said, Buddhu! One thing in these 3 years Shaurya had learn was to apologize.
Shaurya and Alana were playing in the lawn with his lil puppy… running around… laughing… making bubbles… Kyra was standing and watching them with a smile on her face. Karuna soon joined her and they both started talking…
Kyra: Maa… it has been three years but Shaurya is still in the same place. He has not let the pass go and wonder if this is benefiting him in anyway. I remembered when you called me and shared everything with me
*flashback*
Kyra…. Shaurya is breaking down… he is unable to stand on his own feet. He hated alcohol but now he prefers just being in that state… it’s been 2 months and he has hardly came out of his room. I am really worried for him beta, Karuna shared her feelings with her daughter, Kyra who is Shaurya’s step sister but loves him unconditionally.
Maa, only two person can take Shaurya out from this depression… Mahek herself or Alana, his niece… he was so excited for her arrival but he completely has forgotten that she is now 6 months old. Maa, I’ll come home for a month and since we are moving from Canada back to Shimla… I am sure things will become better. I will tell Sameer and will request from my college to join them one month later. I am sure they won’t mind because I am the only lecturer with western dining experience.
Kyra came to Khanna’s mansion with Alana with the mission to get Shaurya out of depression and continue life with the hope someday Mahek will return and he will win her over. First few days Shaurya didn’t even notice their arrival as he was drown in alcohol but one day Kyra made a plan. She left Alana crying near Shaurya’s room… Shaurya did not bother and kept her crying until suddenly Alana reached a wire…. She was about to pull it and get electrocuted but Shaurya saved her in nick time. He apologized to her for his carelessness and promised he will never drink and he will be her best uncle….best Mamu!
*end of flashback*
Karuna: Yes, Kyra…. You are right but I am proud he is looking after both families well and has resumed him routine life.
Shaurya had returned to his normal life routine and ensured White Chilles was still in height but he had never left Sharma family alone. He got Mohit a good job through his contacts, he rebuilt Jeevan and Ravi’s shop and got Nehal to start studying. He requested Sonal to help him in his restaurant as he needed someone trustable and own. Everyone in Sharma family took time but they finally forgive Shaurya and realised Mahek was right. Shaurya is like coconut… hard on the top and tender inside but they wished Mahek was here to witness it and give their relation another chance. Knowing Mahek, that was next to impossible but the question was where is Mahek… she had never called in these three years but never failed to send birthday cards and Diwali card. That kept the Sharma family hopeful that she is alive and will return someday.
Everyday for one month that Alana would be with him, Shaurya goes late to White Chillies. He spends ample of time with her doing all sort of things and everything reminds him of Mahek. Alana loves kissing him on the nose the way Mahek did once…. Alana resembles a lot like Mahek… the way she huffs in anger…. The way trouble always tails along with Alana…. Shaurya only sees Mahek in her but he knows this is just him trying to relate everything with Mahek..
Shaurya was sitting in the lawn when a phone call disturbed him. Hello jejz… kaise ho? Shaurya greeted his brother in law, Sameer…. Sameer politely answered, I’m doing well Saale Sahab but where are you lost? Shaurya got confused with the statement… and Sameer quickly said… turn behind Saale Sahab… I’m standing here for past 10 minutes. Shaurya quickly got up and jogged towards Sameer Mehra, Kyra’s husband and Alana’s father… Khanna family’s son in law. They hugged and asked each other’s well-being. He saw Kyra coming with Awara holding their suitcases which were packed…. Alana standing with her faced puffed in a corner with teary eyes. Shaurya realised one month was up and it was time for them to get back to Shimla. He went to Alana and hugged her.
‘Mamu… I don’t want to go’… I love you so much but why do I have to leave you…? do we always lose people we love…Alana innocently asked…. Shaurya quickly hugged her as her words pricked his heart… he knows the pain and he doesn’t want Alana to go through the same. He promises her that he will come to meet her in Shimla soon. Kyra comes to them and reminds Shaurya, this time you are not cheating because you are the guest of honor in my college…. Don’t forget okie!…. 15th July 2017. Shaurya’s eyes just got moist hearing the date… Mahek’s birthday he thought in his heart. They had a family hug and greeted each other bye. Sameer, Kyra and Alana went back to Shimla… Karuna hugged Shaurya and said she will miss them…. He said he too! They both have a heart light laugh and goes back into Khanna Mansion.
Guys, sorry I know got late this time as was busy but I will update another episode in 2 days and promise this time I would be combination of 3 episodes 😀
