The episode starts with Bondita getting ready for her work. She comes down to house temple and prays. Ksj looks and asks where she is heading this early. When she was about to tell Anirudh says that today is Bondita’s first day as Barrister in Tulsipur. Bondita gets his blessing, KSj says whatever Bondita does she gets success.. She asks about Thakumaa. KSj says that she went for some emergency work. Bondita goes to Sumati maa and takes blessing from her. Sumati maa blesses and says that she will be here for a couple of days and she will go to pilgrimage after that. Bondita says but I have arrived just and you are leaving me. Sumati maa convinces that she needs to go and tells that here Ksj and all others will take care. Bondita tells that she knows but she will miss her presence and starts crying. Sumati maa consoles her and tells that today is her first day as Barrister and wishes her luck.
Anirudh calls, “Bondita we are getting late”. Bondita, I’m coming Sakha babu. They both head to court. Everyone welcomes Bondita and honors her, as she is the first women Barrister in Tulsipur. Anirudh becomes extremely proud and Bondita gets happy seeing his proud moment.
Bondita does some paper work. Anirudh gives her tea and sits near her. He asks how it is. She says, “It is so good and the taste is wow she wish to have daily” and says Sakha babu you are good Chai wali babu too.
Anirudh tells, Bondita I’m not asking about tea I’m asking about your work, kaam Bondita and tell me one thing why are you always thinking about food? Bondita keeps her face like what? , Sakha babu you didn’t ask me properly you gave me tea and you asked how it is then what I should answer than.
Anirudh says I asked about your work. She tells fine, it was very good and she is already loving it and tells him that she got one case too. Anirudh gets excited and asks what case? Bondita says he will know that soon, but not now. Anirudh asks why? Bondita tells she wants him to give it as surprise. Anirudh says okay fine and keeps his cheeks like Bondita. She laughs and plays with his anger and tells Sakha babu you look cute in your anger too and laughs. Anirudh for first time feels something strange seeing Bondita laugh (RTM plays).
Thakumaa reaches haveli and asks about Bondita as she is seen nowhere. Tupur says that Bondita went to court, Thakumaa in excited tone asks really? I’m very happy to hear this and asks Bihari to prepare kheer as today’s dessert. Tupur informs Thakumaa that they will leave today to Krishna nagar as there are some pending farm works and it’s been quite long time they came here. Thakumaa says I’ll arrange for your travel and goes to her room. She calls Trilochan ji and sees him staring at a photo. Thakumaa asks him what he is seeing, he shows her the picture taken in Holi a long time back, where every family members poses and remembers that he wish to see this again with Thakumaa also. She smiles and tells it will happen soon. Ksj says that I don’t know but I’ll celebrate to the fullest the day when Bondita becomes Roy Chaudhary bahu.
Anirudh and Bondita prepare to return home. In their way Bondita starts to speak about the paper work Anirudh gave her. She says, “Sakha babu I read the paper work you gave yesterday”. She asks when they started this work. Anirudh tells that they were working this for more than a year. He says polygamy has started to increase and women are suffering due to this and there are lot of suicide because of this. He further says that last month there were 12 women, who died due to polygamy. Bondita gets shocked. She asks what the reason is for this polygamy.
Anirudh tells most polygamy is due to inability of giving birth to male child or dowry issues. He says some women are giving birth to female infants some family needs only male infant so they have heir for their property. If they failed to deliver male child then they are arranging for second marriage. Bondita tells this is not right what happens only if male child is born in this world don’t they think in that way. Anirudh tells they don’t think in that way and says not everyone are like this, only few people is doing like this. He says but he fears what if these people change other people same like this.
Anirudh stops the vehicle near a place and asks to Bondita to get down. She asks where they are going. Anirudh takes Bondita inside that place. Bondita sees some people asking them to come in. Anirudh tells that these are women and child we rescued from female infanticide. Bondita sees them and gets emotional as the women residing there will be nearly her age or less. Anirudh informs the in charge people that, if they need anything they can ask him and they both leave.
Bondita cries that why these things are happening and tells she feels so bad about this society. Anirudh consoles her. Bondita hugs him and says why nobody is like you? Sakha babu, if these women got husband like you they would have not suffered like this instead they would have got wings to fly. Anirudh stands still after hearing what Bondita said (RTM plays). Bondita then sense the reality and tells him that she got so emotional and apologies him for what she said. But she tells him that what she said is right, but the timing is wrong as they are no longer husband and wife. Anirudh feels heavy after hearing this and doesn’t speak anything. They both return to haveli.
KSj and Thakumaa asks Bondita about her first day in court. Bondita tells them whatever happened in court and they both get so happy after hearing about the first case she got. They ask both to fresh up and join them for dinner. Bondita comes down and sees Tupur, Chandrachur, Showmik and Rhimjim preparing to leave Tulsipur. Tupur and Bondita hug each other, Tupur asks Bondita to visit Krishnanagar, and Bondita gives Parth a peck in his cheeks. Rhimjim tells that she is leaving Tapur here as she doesn’t want Bondita to miss her both sister, they all depart from there.
Everyone rest to their room. Bondita writes about her day in diary. She thinks of everything that happened today and makes some decision in her mind. In his study room Anirudh is doing some work but he can’t concentrate as the incident happened evening crosses him, he questions himself why he is thinking the same thing and tries to concentrate but he fails. So, he decides to sleep when he closes his eyes, he recollects how Bondita got emotional and gets up. Anirudh to himself asks, what happened to me why I am feeling something strange, he drinks water. Bondita comes there. She asks, “Sakha babu why you didn’t sleep yet”? Anirudh asks her same. Bondita says he should answer first. He says I’m having head ache so I can’t sleep. Bondita tells that she will give forehead massage. Anirudh tells no need he is fine but she doesn’t listen and makes him sit and gives him gentle forehead massage . Anirudh looks on. KSj sees them both and gets happy and leaves from there.
Bondita tells that she came to meet him and tells that from tomorrow she won’t come to court. Anirudh looks shocked.
