Lamp Of Love Episode-39: ANINDITA’S ADAN PRADAN.

The episode starts with Thakumaa asking what? Tupur says, Yes Thakumaa. I will talk to Vibha and ask her to come with us this won’t be good leaving her alone says Thakumaa. When Thakumaa is about to leave, Vibha comes there. What have you said Vibha I won’t leave you alone, this is our first function after so many years, I want everyone in our family to present at the function and keep her hand in Vibha’s head? Vibha says, Thakumaa I am really happy that you all considering me as your family but I don’t want any further problems because of me, I will be fine here. Thakumaa thinks all this is because of this Vidya and looks irritated.

Trilochan asks Bihari to keep all things in the jeep and asks everyone to get ready soon as they are getting late. Thakumaa comes there and asks why you are this tense like your own wedding? KSj looks at her and tells Kalindi you look so beautiful, she beats with love on his shoulder and asks him to be quiet. Everyone comes there getting ready. Sampoorna asks where is Anirudh and Bondita? Tapur says I think they both are not secretly meeting and spending time, everyone laughs. Vidya comes there draping the saree, she looks absolutely pretty in saree as she really knows how to carry it with grace. Kabir comes wearing a kurta and looks dashing. Chandrachur says I think Kabir is looking like a groom, Thakumaa says, why not, he is the one who gets married next to Anirudh, Am I right? Kabir, thinks about Vibha and searches her, and sees her nowhere, in meantime Bondita and Anirudh comes there with so much glow on their face looking at each other. Anirudh and Bondita wear a costume of the same color. Anirudh wears a Kurta in green color with red embroider and Bondita is adorned with gold jewelry that gets well along with her Green Banaras saree. Everyone looks at them, Tupur says, you both looks ekdam perfect Jodi, match made in heaven, Bondita gets shy and looks at Anirudh. Anirudh says, Bondita looks like all the stars in the universe are blended together with so much shine. Okay enough, enough you both can love after some time teases, Binoy. Bondita goes near Kabir and asks how is your hand dada? Kabir says I am alright mithi and congratulation on your new beginnings, Bondita smiles, she senses Kabir is looking for something and notices Vibha is not there before she could speak, Kabir asks mithi where is Vibha? Even I am looking for her, wait I’ll check and goes near Tapur and asks where is Vibha? Tapur narrates to her the whole story that happened yesterday and says Bondita didi we convinced her so much but she is stubborn. Bondita gets sad and goes near Kabir and tells that Vibha is not coming and is staying alone in haveli and tells him the reason, Kabir gets angry at Vidya and looks at her, who is already looking at him like eating him in his eyes.

Som comes there and tells them that everything is ready and they can leave to the temple. Everyone goes near the jeep. Thakumaa, Ksj, Sampoorna, Binoy, Shashwati, and Bihari sits in one jeep and head first to the temple. Chandrachur, Tupur, Tapur, Som, and Koyli keep Parth in her lap and get their jeep ready. Anirudh, Bondita, Vidya, and Kabir get in another vehicle, suddenly Kabir screams, Anirudh turns to him and asks what happened? He cries Chandrachur gets down and rushes to him. Kabir says I am feeling sudden pain in my hand. Anirudh says, don’t worry I will take you inside, Kabir says, No Anu today is your big day you don’t waste your time, I will take care. Anirudh without understanding Kabir’s plan insists that he will not leave him alone, Bondita pinches and asks him to wait till Kabir executes his plan. Kabir thinks Mithi is really smart in this. Bondita says dada doesn’t worry Vibha is in haveli, she will look after you, Chandrachur looks at her and says yes this seems good and takes him inside. Vibha hears the sound and comes outside and sees Kabir and Chandrachur, she covers her head and stands in the corner, Chandrachur says, Vibha I have already said right don’t be formal with your brother. Kabir coughs and asks brother? Not you Kabir I am saying myself as Vibha’s brother, Kabir sighs. Vibha asks what happened. Chandrachur tells that he is feeling sudden pain and asks her to take care of Kabir and leaves.

Vibha takes Kabir to his room and unties his wound and check whether there is any crack in his bone, she asks where he is feeling pain, he keeps his hand near his heart, she looks at him, and he tells my wrist is hurting. Vibha takes herbal oil and applies and tells him to bear the pain as it will be painful. Kabir says, no please give me a painless treatment, I don’t bear the pain. Vibha says, you cannot stay without pain in your life, and asks him to forward his hand. Kabir looks at her without taking his eyes from her.

Everyone reaches the temple, Pandit Ji has already arranged for the puja, he started after they came. Pandit ji does Durga maa aarti and blesses the couple. Trilochan asks Pandit Ji that when they can keep Adan Pradan. Pandit says that if they are ready we can do Adan Pradan now. Thakumaa says, but Sumati bahu is not here how can we decide without her consultation. We can do Adan Pradan now itself Pandit Ji, everyone turns to see Sumati standing there. Bondita gets happy and runs towards her mom and hugs her tight. Sumati hugs her and kisses her forehead, how I can miss my daughter’s marriage. Ksj asks when did you came back from pilgrimage and how come she knows that they are in the temple? Sumati says I came just now, Vibha told me that everyone is in the temple and I came here. Pandit says, then why delay shall we start the ritual? Thakumaa says, yes we can and they all sit. Pandit checks the dates that are best for them both and finalizes a date for their wedding. Everyone congratulates them and exchange gifts as part of a ritual.

Note: Adan Pradan is a (first) pre-wedding Bengali ritual in which the bride and groom’s family fix their wedding date.
