Lamp Of Love Episode-31: Interview with Barristers Anirudh, Bondita and Kabir.

The episode starts with Vidya arranging for interview. Bondita and Anirudh comes there. Anirudh asks her to not think much as everything will be alright and gently pats her head. Kabir comes there rolling his shirts and looks at Anirudh and Bondita. Bondita goes near him and says dada are you okay now? Kabir says, Mithi everything is fine, now I want the smile in your face, Bondita smiles. Vidya asks are you ready Barristers. They nod and the interview starts.

Vidya: Namaste and this is Vidya Joshi, Today we have interesting personalities with us who are breaking barriers to create sky for every woman to fly. Let me introduce you all to the most talented Barristers Anirudh Roy Chaudhary, Bondita Das and Kabir Dalal, now her eyes getting fixed to Kabir’s eyes. First of all, Congratulations on your victory, this is mile stone in each one of your life. Let me start my questions with Barrister Bondita Das, tell me about your experience in working in Polygamy abolishment act.

Bondita: Namaste to everyone who is listening to our talk. Yes, Ms. Joshi that was a wonderful experience, you see first I took really a lot of time to do this study, luckily I was supported by this wonderful barristers credits goes to them.

Vidya: Barrister Anirudh you are the one who laid foundation for Polygamy abolishment, now this has been passed to high court how do you feel?

Anirudh: First of all thanks for connecting us with people, yes but this was not solely started by me, my dearest friend Kabir Dalal was the one gave idea about working on this, but unfortunately we couldn’t start this a long time back as we were busy with some other article work, but we were parallel working on this too, then once Barrister Bondita Das came we jumped into this in full fledge.

Vidya: That’s so good to hear, so you are working on this for long time it seems, it’s really commendable. Barrister Kabir Dalal, when did this idea of polygamy strike you?

Kabir: Thanks to you and Bengal Express for this wonderful conversation that will be directly shared with people. This idea developed when I visited India and taking up case as practicing Barrister, the time I used to (shouldn’t use this word as this act is not completely abolished) see lots of polygamy even the one who is working as maid, I am not mentioning any jobs as less. As you know we have seen Zamindar’s keep multiple wives but that customs spread this range now it had become like a habit. I don’t see this good as women are treated like trash actually they deserves to be better and equal as men.

Vidya: That was really an elaborated answer from you, I hope our people who are listening to this now understand what you are trying to change in our society. Barrister Bondita Das, you already contributed to law when you was just 13 years old, people I hope you remember this small girl who sacrificed her marriage for women betterment, then as Bondita Roy Chaudhary changed the fate of women by bringing child marriage as punishable crime now as Barrister Bondita Das leading and setting example for every women to fly as their wish. What plan to do you three have in future?

Anirudh, Kabir and Bondita (they say in same tone): We will keep fighting for the rights women deserve and we cannot say more now as you all can see that in our action.

Bondita and Anirudh walks in the corridor. Bondita says, it was really tough to convince Vibha, but what she is thinking is also valid Anirudh babu. Anirudh tells we have to first find out the reason why Vidya is hating Vibha this much. Bondita thinks Duggamaa give strength to Vibha.

Before anyone could see, Kabir enters into Vibha’s room and closes the door, she turned to look at the noise that created by door and I shocked to see Kabir there? Vibha gets panicked, Kabir stands in distance and asks her to not go. Vibha turns back as she might cry seeing Kabir because he is the one who is getting hurt while taking stand for her. Vibha says, I don’t want to be burden for anyone, because of me you are picking up fight with Vidya didi. Kabir comes closer, Vibha suffers a rush in her heart whenever Kabir gets close to her. Kabir says, you want to fight all hurdles that comes in your path if you get scared and run away from problem then you have to run whole life and remember one thing, I will always support you in all step. Kabir looks at her with concern all over his face, whenever he see Vibha he could resist himself falling in love with her. They both get lost in each eyes. Suddenly they hear a knock in door, Vibha gets panicked and tells that if someone sees them together then it will create further problem. The knock in the door gets faster.
